It is my favorite series, but not my favorite books written by Card. I've read a lot of his books and actually like more of his stand-alone novels over the various series that he's written. His series tend to be hit-or-miss. For example, I don't much like the later books of the Enderverse series.

How about the Lorien Legacies? Would you recommend those? I read pretty much everything, so I'm always open to suggestions.

That's fine! SUs apps will be open up for at least a week. Since you said you might join I'll keep them open for you for a little while longer. ;) And woo for excitement! That's the one of the most important parts for me.

There is excitement, but you know people don't like spending money. And online artists make portraits and body pillows and plush toys and all this hullabaloo as commissions since it's so popular. So it takes away from the sales they get. People never think it matters because they're dealing with a published company rather than "a regular joe" on the internet. But OPM isn't a powerhouse like Pokemon or something. Sales that take away from their revenue can be detrimental. =/
