Ah, absolutely. We've got way too much going on to give so much attention to another. xD

The great thing about books in general is you get to know what the characters are thinking and feeling, which is something that can be lacking in the show (but man, the actors are pretty awesome and you can totally see it in their eyes and expressions sometimes).

About which part have you gotten to so far? I'd talk to you more about the characters but I don't want to spoil anything for you. :P Daenerys and the Starks are some of my favorites too though!

I don't know exactly how that grading works, but 87% doesn't look bad at all. What is the minimum requirement, 60%? Don't worry, you at least have your direction clearly. A friend of mine was indecisive between Greek/Latin, Biology, Medics as well as a bunch of other stuff, and that very close to the deadline and she managed to make a good choice in the end as well.
For myself, I was thinking about going for Chemistry like three years before I had to choose. I looked at some other things as well, but they didn't seem as appealing, so it was an easy choice for me.

I watched the show first and initially didn't intend to read the books, but I got so into it I just had to know more about the world and characters, so I started reading. :P The show does do a pretty amazing job for the most part, given the time constraints per episode (I mean, the books are massive and clearly they can't show everything, but they did good with the condensing).

I've personally never really minded spoilers so I don't know if my recommendation is helpful, but for what it's worth, I did watch the show first and then read the books and I still enjoyed the series a lot! Who are your favorites so far?
