It's one of those jobs that is actually really fun but sounds damn boring when you tell someone about it, haha. The only tedious part was the phone calls, because accents are very difficult to understand over the phone...but I usually just passed them over because I wasn't qualified to deal with them, ehe. I'm aiming to get a job at a school in the future as well; it's very rewarding work...plus the hours and holiday are very agreeable. xD;
Dunno how you could endure working in a hospital though @_@

I have Skype on whenever my laptop is on, but I'm one of those "I'll leave it up to you if you want to talk to me" kinds of people so the end result is I have maybe one or two conversations on it every month or so. I use it but don't use it? xD

I worked in International Admissions, so I dealt with foreign students' applications, e-mails, etc. It was more interesting than it sounds, and if I hadn't of been forced to leave due to my health I would still be there now. Not what I'd pictured doing with my life, but...well, a job is a job, right? xD

US College is the equivalent to UK University I think, so yeah, definitely helps to get it all for free. As opposed to the terrifying debt you'd rack up otherwise. Having access to that will no doubt make you very popular amongst your extended family though, aha. Best of luck~

Working in educational institutes is great! I worked at my University a few years ago and the office was generally pretty relaxed even during new application periods, and it was a nice place to work...plus my graduation ceremony stuff (robes and a very expensive set of photos) was paid for, too. It definitely has its perks...although free College tuition is pretty amazing :O

Definitely, we'll see a lot of peridot and lapis as there new and have a lot of developing to go. Thinking about getting a copy of Pokemon platnium, Sinnoh was my fav regions and I wanna play again without resetting my childhood copy of diamond lol

Well,at least you've got things to keep you occupied, mhm. Free time is awesome! In moderation, anyway. After about a year it starts to grate on your nerves just a tad. But then you lose it and suddenly you want it all back, so yes, savour it whilst you can! Plough through that gaming backlog, get everything organised, etc etc >:3

It's difficult to build up confidence when life seems to be conspiring to tear you down, yeah. That seems like an odd way to hire people, but I hope something comes of it! It's a lead, at least. The frustrating thing is that there are often loads of jobs around, but competition is ridiculous, and employers don't hire for a lot of different reasons and rarely provide feedback on why...or even tell you sometimes. Waiting for even a rejection that will never come is just as bad as waiting and hoping you'll get it. Not much to do but keep trying, I guess ._.
Do you have much to take your mind off things, though? It's good to de-stress frequently in times like this in my opinion - you're doing all you can, after all~

That's true, in the end she did side with jasper before they broke up. It's so sad she just wants to go back to homeworld :( 40 episodes wow, don't forget all of the time spent during my hiatus. I would have liked maybe another episode dedicated to lapis' feelings, but that's the problem with only 10 mins per episode . Maybe peridot will get a fusion in the next episode as well :D also expecting come Connie/Steven interaction soon

Lapis didn't really fail though, it was ment to be a holiday for her but she got trapped in a mirror for 1000s of years. Now I'm thinking about it lapis probably won't forgive peridot, I recon she'll have a long grudge against peridot for being homeworld and jailed her again :(

Yeah, they generally require you to put down a month's rent in advance and I expect they look into your income, credit history etc. as well. It's pretty difficult to get onto any sort of property ladder these days. You'd think the government would provide extra help or set up some kind of scheme to help first-time buyers, rather than just leaving them to be torn apart by the wolves...

Yeah, I think I know where you're coming from, at least in part. Inactivity is pretty stifling when you know you should be doing something, but can't because reasons. It has a real knock-on effect on your physical health and how you feel otherwise, and it sucks. I hope things improve for you soon, it's not a place to be in D:
