I've spent that much time on one story/series alone. Hell, even the 2-D project would've been a spin-off of the initial project, set in the same universe and time-frame. -w-

Sometimes I wish we could do some stand-alone projects with this community, you know? Because my flaw is dreaming too big; I wanted my first project to be playable on a Wii U, but people talked me down to a 2-D Steam title. Yet my creativity in almost all areas relating to lore is too much to keep bottled in! XDDDDD

I'm in the opposite boat: with gameplay and mechanics being a key point in my prowess, I really shine in my creativity. Sadly, I don't have a constant internet connection, so I can't manage a team and work when I most feel like it. And aside that, some people are more inclined to ask for pay, even if they have no prior experience, because they feel their talents already merit the case (and some do, but not all). It's hard finding a dedicated team at such an early stage. XD;;;;;

That's cuz you need a team behind you. While making a title on your own is quite possible, it ain't recommended.
