Cool. Starly is good for speed, bidoof is good for hp, shinx is good for attack, budew is good for special attack, geodude is good for defense, and I suggest chaining either mr mime, seel, mime jr, or togepi for special defense. Good luck!

Ok. and don't bother battling pokes that give 2 evs, as that only turns out to be 12 evs total, and thus is not worth it as it's harder to find them and they are higher levels.

A power item is +4 EVs to the appropriate stat. Pokerus is added on after all other effects, so it would be: 1 HP EV (bidoof) + 4 HP EVs (Power Weight) x 2 (pokerus) = 10 HP EVs per bidoof (a simple, lvl 2-3 bidoof!)

Oh sure. Well, mine is just pretty simple. I give the pokemon I want to EV pokerus, and then give them the appropriate power item. Say I wanted to EV train in HP. I'd just go to a simple area, like route 201, and get (run around, or chain) bidoofs. Since my pokes are usually lvl 1, I take a lvl 100 (an EV'd scizor for me ^.^) with me, and give the EXP share to my poke. EVs are transferred through Experience (at least what I've heard, but I know it still gets the EVs), so the poke will gain the EVs as if it were in the battle.
So, the pokemon you were training in HP would get 10 EVs per battle. I get a pen/pencil and a notepad and make tallies. after I've reached the number of EVs down the to tens place, I take off the power item and go from there.

SO guess what. I bred about 8 calm natured piplups with my wanted moveset, and then I saved and then rare candied then up to level 20. Then I wrote down their stats. This is the one I picked:

should I keep breeding or be happy w/ that one?
