Aww I'm glad he's nice, imagine if the teacher assessing you was like Jabba the Hutt - I think I'd have a breakdown and cry right there. Ah yes have to maintain lab safety D: You could take them outside of the lab and give them food? Just make sure you don't accidentally drop some HCL on the confectionery and you have some happy kids right there. If you don't have a degree yet, is this part of an internship / required experience that goes towards you completing your degree? That's cool you decided to become a teacher though, I'm glad you've been passionate about it for so long! if you ever wanted to pursue baking though, you could totally do it on the side. HANS the baking chemistry teacher has an oddly nice ring to it.
OK exorcising sounds smart now that you mention it but in fairness, I think the demon would not enjoy that one at all. Would probably backfire on me and lead to me getting possessed, which is not the best outcome. And yeah, if you share a body you could gain some... demon powers? You could conjure fire, get a super cool evil laugh and be feared by everyone - maybe it's not too bad :D Also, you could become a traitor in Betrayal quite easily with a demon possessing you - could be quite an easy win. The evil bird one reminds me a lot of the Team KFC situation that happened in Poketrivia a few years ago - something about taking over the world with KFC or turning everyone into KFC? Either way, I miss those times! You could definitely make a board club game still if that suits you, since they have the Clubhouse and all now. I'd definitely support it. Also fair enough, guess I'll have to cancel that board game rehabilitation centre dang... and it was so expensive too ;( But yeah I think a nice part about board games is the social interaction, unless it's a friendship-ruining game like Monopoly.
Awww that's kind of sweet that PC helped you improve your English a lot! In fairness to you though, your English was already amazing when you joined so I'm not sure what you're talking about. I feel like with languages it helps if you just expose yourself to conversations with native speakers, helps you pick up a lot of vocabulary quickly. And helps if the subject matter (such as Pokemon) is interesting to learn about too. Do you speak any languages outside of English and Dutch? (I'm guessing Dutch since you're from the Netherlands, if not oops)
Haha I've certainly tried over the years, to limited success! I've got a lot better at understanding conversations but my speaking is still abysmal and I can barely write it. Hmm, I feel like Chinese (in particular Mandarin) will certainly become important given China's place in the global economy but hopefully it's not a SUPER needed language because then I'll have to learn it properly, and my family would never let me hear the end of it :') And yeah, I feel like that would be the main reason I learn Chinese. It's a little sad not being able to chat with relatives properly, but we get by with very broken Chinese and English.
I gave the two folk rock tunes you linked a listen whilst I typed up this VM! The first one has such a homely and cute vibe, which wasn't what I was expecting when it started but I love it a lot. Kinda sounds like music that would go in a game about farming (has a Stardew Valley vibe actually) or one of those tracks you'd be able to play in a pub. Second one is even more tavern-y vibes and I think it's my favourite of the two <3 Thanks for showing me!
Oooh yes let me know how the fair is once you go again! And yeah, I feel like Pokemon Go is still popular even now. I know a bunch of people who still play, despite it having been almost 3 years. Did you ever get into Pokemon Go or not really?
Ahahaha not sure how those people thought it'd end well. Some news articles really make you take a step back and look twice. Like Florida Man Punches Alligator - bruh what is punching it gonna do, your hands might get snapped off in the process just run for it. Hmm my favourite animal - don't really have one as I love a lot of animals but I like cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, rabbits etc. A little basic maybe but they're cute to me :D How about yourself?
NO I CAN'T FORGIVE THIS (I can actually, honestly pizza does get a little tiring after a while). Oh yeah, olives are gross I'm not sure why anyone likes them. Quinoa... a little sour but it's fairly nice! I can see why people may not like it though.
You should definitely go to either if you have the chance, I fully recommend it! What would you recommend seeing in the Netherlands? If I end up going to Europe I'll definitely come over and wave at you whilst my parents are like ?????? Who are you waving at. Or I could turn up at that fair but that's in April, RIP. Either way I'll let you know what happens and if I go
NO PROBLEM I THINK AT THIS POINT IT'S FINE IF WE TAKE AGES BETWEEN VMS CONSIDERING HOW LONG THEY ARE
