  • In New York they typically checked ID with covid cards. In general they just wanted a photo, so you could pull up Facebook or any social media and it would pass. My sister tested positive for covid. She received every vaccine including the booster, but has a fever and sore throat. She said she was in bed with chills.

Oh. The old Dragon Quest games are rough. Dragon Quest 1 and 2 will have you grind for hours, running the map with little idea of what to do with very high encounter rates. 3 was a big improvement (not perfect). 5 was when it became modern, and has monster capture taming like Pokemon. 8 and 11 are the fan favorites and I would highly recommend 11. Most of them are on the app store. 11 is on the Switch.

It is fun logging in being excited to receive something. I'm happy with anything. I only made a game because it's fun trying to be creative with this. It was a subpar attempt, but finally I managed to make a playable game nonetheless.

I'm the youngest in my family. I guess that's interesting to mention. Sometimes I look around for 'older artifacts' they left behind if that makes sense. I found a working gameboy color with Pokemon Blue in it. The save died on me, but it was fun while it lasted.

I also found an NES they left behind with Dragon Quest 1. It sparked an interest in the series. I found an SNES with Chrono Trigger and played through that too.
Thank you. New York was fun. Times Square felt like a sea of people. It was my first time ever going to New York and overall it was a nice experience. Before I left, my family had gotten sick with a strange cold. My sister is concerned and decided to get a covid test. (hasn't come back yet). I haven't been afflicted as of yet. In New York they check vaccination cards in most places.

Oh. I did get Poken Tournament and Dragon Quest 8 for my 2DS. I have no idea of anything about Poken, but Dragon Quest is my favorite franchise of all time. I bought my mother a minnie mouse pillow from the Disney Store.

It's okay. The person got my gift. I'm relieved now. I'm eager to see what I receive, even if it's something tiny. I haven't yet, but that's okay. I have hope that it'll come.

Happy Belated New Years. I don't know if the New York celebration would air in your location? I did get to play chess with my older brother. He's leaving soon (sadly) but it was very fun playing on a real board and not a computer screen. I won a game, but he's certainly the better player. He's 20 years older than me and has way more experience. It's always a bit lonely when he leaves.
I'm back from New York. It was a brief 3 day trip. It was fun. I don't know if it would be dumb to send pictures, because you already know what New York is like. It was hard to stop for photos because it's so busy. My dog was very happy to see me come home.

I played Alola before. I never played Ultra Moon. We went to the Nintendo store in New York. My aunt actually bought me a $40 Ultra Moon download code. It was a very nice gesture.

I haven't really gotten anything yet from the Secret Santa again. I know the deadline is January 5th, but I'm not really expecting much. I made a game for someone, but I guess he was gifted by another person because he acknowledged that gift instead...ouch. I spent many hours on it. I'm not participating in this anymore. It just causes me anxiety and hurt feelings. Honestly, I wish I never signed up. I'm glad it can make other people happy though.

It was a 4 hour train ride. I found a book I liked and it passed the time.
    No worries!
They have a new series getting an anime now Orient that begins airing soon I believe on Jan 6th, defo gonna give that a shot!
Hope you had a nice Christmas! :)
Merry Christmas Janna. We all love you <3

I don't know if I've mentioned it, but I'm going to New York after Christmas. It's a brief trip around the state. I've never been there so it seems like it'll be fun. I hope your trip went well. Safe travels to wherever city it was. The covid situation has gotten bad in our area. The hospitals are full. People aren't taking the shot either.

I have a dog too. I uploaded a video of her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7a6RhRO7avc. She's very sweet. I love her.

Since beating Cynthia, I have not touched the game. I have a habit of not doing the post games. Gen 5 had a fun post game and I liked the Emerald battle frontier. I might get Ultra Moon. Gen 7 is one of my favorite generations and Alola was one of my favorite regions. It does get a bit tiring watching something you loved get berated endlessly. I don't feel this way here, but sharing appreciation for something that is generally disliked can be a bit scary. You know how the internet can be.

Are you going to play the post game?
I beat her. I lost and went through the elite four so much that my team got way too high leveled for her. It's funny because Dialga wasn't used a single time. There was never a time I needed it.
I can't beat Cynthia. My team is just too frail. I keep trying but it's not working out. My strongest is a level 68 Blissey. I'm guessing you may have finished it?

It's more relaxing this way. The entire purpose is that you can take as much time as you want on each move. I'm a very slow defensive player. Often when I play live games, it goes to decision by timer. The game doesn't have to last for months. It's basically "log on when you feel like it and take your turn". If that makes sense.

I went with my family to a mall. I got this for my mother. https://i.imgur.com/eURAoBL.jpg. Slightly worried that it's not a very good gift. I tried. It cost $20.00.

Amusingly, while typing this, across from me our cat is on a box. She's a good kitty. Nearly 14 years old. We've had her for most of my life.

    Spoiler:
It's interesting. According to google "The thin, moist lining of your inner eye, called the conjunctiva, prevents a lost lens". I still wouldn't put on contacts. Sometimes I all asleep on a whim, so I would risk infection. This avatar couldn't be more fitting, honestly.

I don't know what I'll do for a gift this year. I'll figure something out. I'm currently playing Daily Chess with roni. You log on periodically and take your turn. There's no time limit and games can last from weeks to months. Neither person needs to be active at the same time. It's very fun. I'm glad you speak so fondly of FF14. I don't necessarily enjoy the Final Fantasy series that much, but I keep playing them. I don't know why. I don't know anything about 14.

Are you going Christmas shopping this year? I'll be doing it tomorrow. If I don't find what I need in the stores, I'll do the rest online.

Oh. Someone gave me a Palkia today while I was trading randomly. Another person gave me a Squritle. And another person gave me a Dragonite. It was a very lucky day for me. I had an extra Jirachi, so I traded that away. I'm at Victory Road. I got lost and ended up back at the start. I also ran out of repels.
I never noticed the feeling on my nose. I notice every tiny smudge and it gets annoying trying to always clean them. Did you know in some places it's required to take a class to put in contacts? My sister took it. I do know that it can cause infection if you fall asleep with them in your eye. After my surgery, I had to wear an eye patch.

I decided to sign up. It's understandable, motivation is a big deal and it's better to sit it out if you feel like it'll be forced. I'm not a talented artist. In 2019 I tried making a game for someone else but it was stressing me out. It can be difficult to find something other than a drawing, but I like trying to go slightly above and beyond. Speaking of gifts, my older brother sent me a gift online. He gave me a $50 yearly platinum subscription to chess.com. So I can play unlimited puzzles and get unlimited reviews on my games. I'm going to have so much fun with it. ^_^

I don't know anything about Australia. I wouldn't expect it to be noisy. I imagine it as a desert land. Thank you for the picture. It's insightful. I lived in a similar neighborhood, but only for 1 year. Have you finished Brilliant Diamond? I reached Victory Road. I added Dialga on my team. I know there's a stigma against legendaries, but I also think we should play how we enjoy it. I simply like dialga.
Will definitely get around to it eventually!
I'd say Saiki and Magi are both super under-rated and amazing defo both worth checking out if you haven't seen either! :)
There is still so much we don't know about the virus. Have you heard of the new variant? It's called Omicron. You know, sometimes it feels like it will never end. Also, I did finish my eye exam. It went very well. I'm getting a prescription which will give me 20/20 vision in my right eye and 20/30 in my left. It was expensive though. $120 even with insurance. My mother payed for what it couldn't cover. Do you use glasses or contacts?

Many people look down on the Wii U. I have fond memories of it. I made a group of friends at school because our teacher would hook up his Wii U console on the projector. We would hang out for hours after school ended and play stuff as Mario Kart and Smash Brothers. I was never good at Mario Kart. We could only do it on certain days of the week, when the teacher was around.

I think I was paired with somebody who signed up and went inactive. I did make a post though. https://imgur.com/a/pFFOXfp It's okay. I skipped out last year but I'll try again this year. I still gave a gift and they said they liked it, so it wasn't a total loss. I made an online christmas comic. I don't think I spoke with you in 2019, so I probably would have never asked.

If it's okay to ask, was it strange living in such a busy place as New York? I have never lived in a city. It must be so weird having people around 24/7. I have never even been to New York, although I've been to New Jersey. My oldest brother lives there. He wanted to move to Ireland, but financially it wasn't easy.
OPM is actually one of the few mangas I have read a lot of, but I never got past the end of s2 anime equivalent, I like to read and collect physical manga. I think I've read 10 or so vols of OPM. MHA I only have a couple vols but love the anime! HxH I have the first couple vols too, D. Grayman I haven't personally read but it's one my gf's all time favs! I've been meaning to get around to the D Grayman anime for ages, but I'm always watching so much haha
I'm feeling alright now. Although I hope they develop a permanent vaccine. Did the initial vaccine cause you any issues? I was able to get the booster at the in store pharmacy while my mother stopped to buy cat food. Other than the sickness after, it was very quick and easy.

Since the discomfort is gone, does it help with sleep at all? Anyways, I hope you guys work out the trigger. A lack of sleep can make you feel groggy. I don't need much sleep to function, but there are people who need that full 8 hours.

I apologize, but I can't fully relate. I don't have memories related to the GBC. As a console, it's older than I am. I have played it. It lacks a backlight and I found it difficult to use. I'd rather just play the old Pokemon games on a 3DS. Of course, they haven't released the Gen 3 games. I don't think of you as old though. We simply have different experiences. My first console was a Nintendo Wii I received for my 6th birthday. The virtual console was like a treasure trove.

I do like the Secret Santa idea you guys do yearly. I tried a couple years ago but my experience wasn't the greatest. I didn't receive anything when gifts were exchanged. We were told to post if we didn't get anything. Sadly, I was skipped over again. I understood how much work went into the event, and I didn't want to pester anybody, so I never said anything. I'll sign up as a back up gifter this time. Being excluded hurt, but it gave me more understanding and empathy.
you're certainly right in that I doubt it lived up to it's expectations following how big s1 was, but I'm sure they could still ride that initial high into a 3rd season without s2's performance being taken into consideration. Hopefully if anything it spurs them to spend extra time/effort making s3's production of higher quality. I'd be very surprised if we didn't get a s3 eventually anyway! I do read manga too occasionally but not nearly as much as I watch anime haha, what have you been reading?
Yes love Mob Psycho too! Was so happy to see the s3 announcement, super excited for it! I actually still really liked OPM S2, it was definitely lower in animation quality than the 1st madhouse season but I didn't think it was super terrible or unwatchable. Feel like the circumstances were out of anyone's control because I believe Madhouse were interested in doing s2 but couldn't reunite the entire creative team for the series for a couple years due to scheduling on other series & ofc they had to strike while the iron was hot with the explosive almost viral hit OPM became, going to another studio to get it out sooner makes total sense. Hope we get a OPM s3 too!
