There's a thread called "Before Playing a Hack", why nobody reads that before actually playing a hack?

You'll have to sadly start the game again. If you want to fix the saving problem, close the emu, delete any .sav or .sa1 file for the game. Open the emu again but before loading the rom, go to Options->Emulator->Save Type, and set the Flash128k option. After that load the rom and start a New Game (your old save states will be corrupted and will only bring the error back, so avoid them)

dude im not trying to be a nuscence but wtf! it wont let me save the game the only way to is to save the state but how the heck do i continue on after the league?????????????

Not just to mention that I've been going onto a forum called Aorio Hoshi (which also has ROM Hacking stuff).

Oh and btw, I know someone who I talk to on MSN who can hex edit many DS games.
Her username's Silver. She said she's really good at hex editing DS games, including Pokémon Diamond.
In fact, she has also created a complete Pokémon Diamond hack.
Maybe she might be able to create SG for DS? :laugh:

hiya Zel 2.0. Hope the beta comes out soon. its really great that your making this hack. i enjoy it more than any other of the pokemon gba games. I have 2 quick questions though. Will you fix the map problem where your character is like on the other side of the screen, and will every place be accesable to fly to because cherrygrove and lavender arent accesable to fly there. Hi Zel (whoops, i tried to say, Ze 2.0?) I'm a big fan of your hack. I want it to be the best hack ever in history. I had more fun with this hack than other official games. so... i'm finally starting a real hack, in cooperation with a friend from my clan, Antiquity
you'll be happy to know that he got the motivation to do it from the shinygold banner on my sig there :p
i'll do some of the mapping and plot, and i hope i'll be able to post a beta in a few months ^^
i hope it can be at least have 1/10 of SG's awsomeness

I found a very nice story to make the evil team of my hack, LoG, the reason why they're called the evil team. :P

Nope, it just ends where the original Gold ended. But there's a bunch of stuff that still must be done before a release of a "final" version. After B6 comes the island-like-region, remember? And there are a lot of legendaries that I must put in the game :)

@Pokepal: When I'm making new maps, I usually pick a Pokemon Center map and insert it as a new map on a previously reserved map spot (I try to reserve a lot if I dont have any, so I wont be messing too much with the map bank), then edit the whole thing to have the amount of events and map size that I'll need. If you are not too sure about what I'm talking about, you may be needing to review your knowledge about AMap's functions.

@pizzakoe: Dictionary definition of "soon"? I dont know if you were trying to make a joke or not (if it was a joke, I wasnt able to laugh, so it failed :()

@Buizel9: I havent seen your sig. But as usual, I hope that you will be able to last longer with it.

I'm returning to job tomorrow (was on vacations for studying for Uni exams), I'll tell you then.

@azura: No, there's not. Dont forget there's no clock present in FR/LG. I dont know if Mastermind_X will come up with something to cover FR/LG, it depends on his creativity if there will be day/night or not.

@Pokeplayer50: Simple. There's nothing to update, that's why the thread stays closed. The smallest updates (mostly about my status) are done here. It'll get reopened at some point of my beta testing (so I can post a few screenshots to distract you all while I'm closing the beta)

@$moG878: Nothing new, still working with some music tracks. I really want to have that area finished for the next beta.

Opinion on a hack with ALL the regions? That it's not possible. There are many limitations that point that it is not possible, but, more than that, it's about the amount of time needed to put events in there (unless you want to put x regions and almost nothing to fill'em up), I dont think anyone has that time or patience to work on so many regions.

@Pichu: I dont think that'd be too clever. Again, it's really easy to realize who the real zel is: just look at the number of referals '^_^
