Hmm. Well, if you like the Beatles, you might like Oasis, which I always kinda liken to late Beatles if they had their psychedelic period during the 90's. ("Champagne Supernova" is always a fun song.)
I'm also fond of Cake (indie band), the Birthday Massacre (industrial), Tsunami Bomb (punk), Siouxsie and the Banshees (goth rock), DragonForce (metal, but slightly goofy metal in that they sing about things like mystical quests), Flogging Molly (Irish punk -- and "Seven Deadly Sins" is possibly the pirate song), Jonathan Coulton (geeky, usually parody writer -- he did an acoustic version of "Baby Got Back," for example), O-Zone (Europop band responsible for "Dragostea Din Tei" -- otherwise known as the "Numa Numa" song), the Smashing Pumpkins (90's alternative), and the Who (classic rock -- Tommy is awesome).
That's probably more than you want, but it's a start. XD
