Touhou is actually a series of pretty fun shooters with beautiful bullet patterns and charismatic characters. .o.

But the games have sprouted such awesome doujins that they're almost official. :3 And it's worth checking out just for the impact it has on the doujin circle as a whole.

Also, do you remember the song Jessica singed in Turn of the Golden Witch? That's a Touhou song, too. ;p

Haha, indeed. It's pretty accurate to compare Touhou with Higurashi in that aspect (not to mention that the Touhou creator, ZUN, is friends with Ryukishi07, so maybe there's something there...)
