We have a few things that should be fixed to make it work properly 100%, but it's not my main concernt currently. It'll be later, though.
Yokki: Yep, it'll be. But this kind of things take their time, and I give it some of the free time I have.
trivium: I do have an idea for the next hack, but what I'd like to do (after I finish SG), is to spend some time writing all the scripts (as if it were a movie), with all the dialogues and all the events. I dont want to feel like I'm just creating stuff out of nowhere.
About the use of SG as a base, as I've said a lot of times, that wont be allowed until a few months after the last release. For now, the only thing that is allowed is to use stuff from the game, up to the Beta4.
Jap: It doesnt really matter if I left Cinnabar out of the list when I wrote that, in the end, it's pretty obvious when you reach Fuchsia that you cannot go north, or in Route2, that you cannot go north as well. And that means no access to Cinnabar.
And, the badges staying as 8. Wasnt the same in Gold? That's why I am not worrying much about it. There's no way to add more to the Trainer Card.
jakerman: Exactly, use a variable and then use the addvar (#raw 0x17 0xVar_2 0xVar_1 0xAmmount_2 0xAmmount_1), check out thethethethe's scripting tutorial if you need more info about "addvar".
If you use that command, and increase the variable by 1 each time you give a badge, you can make a quick count badge script, by using the compare command.
Of course, since I recently became in touch with the addvar command, I used to do my badge check scripts differently, but you should take advantage of the simplicity of addvar.
cubsrul: I'm not really interested in messing up with the intro. The gameplay is what matters. The other stuff is just an add-on.
kennyj92: Yes, in terms of the game's story, it's all finished up till Mt.Silver. What I'm now working on are some minigames (to increase a bit the hours of gameplay :P), and after that (or somewhere between the minigames), I'll start to put all those BGMs you've been hearing from clonex.
After that, Beta Testing. But I'll probably reopen the thread after I finish working on the minigame I'm currently working on. But I cannot say when it'll be finished.
chaosslasher: That's really difficult because I got a liking to the Mystery Gift theme for N.Bark. But, alas, this is a Gold Remake, so I'll have to use the real N.Bark theme from clonex XD
About Ash's sprite, I'll use the same sprite from FR. After all, in the original Gold, they used the same OW from Red/Blue, thus, I'm doing the same thing. But about the battle sprite, Red (the user) made a sprite for Red (the character) long time ago, and I'm still gonna use that one.
