Hahaha, no sweat man. I'm not mad at you. I was just a bit perturbed at the fact that my thread got closed.
Mainly because, when I posted the thread, I knew it would probably happen, but I did also think that some of your reasons were somewhat wrong. (I kind find a kinder word sorry). Because, as you probably know, my game thread has been closed for about two months now, and not only that, but I have been without a computer for about 5 months now. So progress on the lost world has completely stopped.
I think the only problem I had with one of your reasons was when you said that if I were to post it in my signature, that it would have the same affect. Well, the thread's purpose was to announce that the lost world has been saved, but I did also write the thread in a hyped up kind of way, but only to express my happiness. I mean, either the game would have been saved, or it wouldn't have. And after waiting about 5 months for the verdict, I'm pretty sure you could understand my excitement.
So, posting it in my signature would not draw peoples attention, as much as a thread announcing it. Because my original game thread has around 200,000 views, and I already know that there are many, many fans of game. So, there is no way that a signature post could even alert half the amount of people than an announcement post.
But, like I said. I'm not mad at you. I knew it was going to happen, but I was wishing that it wouldn't. You are a moderator, and you were just following protocol. And I completely understand that protocol must be followed, because if it isn't, then everyone will see it as an opportunity to stray from the rules.
So, don't worry man, I'm not mad at you at all. I'm not even perturbed about the thread thing anymore, it only affected me for about an hour. Due to my migraine disorder, I've learned how to throw things over my shoulder, because the longer you keep those feelings, the more they hurt you. :)
Again, don't worry. It's totally fine man :)
