*Well I'll see you later and may your pencil stay sharp and may your pen stay...um...ink-filled! (that sounded...odd)*
I've tried variations of that, but you've finally helped me come up with a good version: "May your pencil and wits stay sharp!" I usually try something with a pen, and it doesn't work.
Anyways, I have a doctor's appointment today. I despise them. I've only had like seven or eight in my entire life, so I guess I'm a little more sensitive to them than most people. Then I get to go back and have blood drawn on Tuesday of next week, which I have never had happen. I'm a little worried.
In other news, I've been thinking lately that I repeat things a lot. Like saying "anyways" or "in other news" to start a new paragraph. I even get the feeling when I'm writing...it's like I use certain words over and over, chapter after chapter. Or not necessarily the exact same words, but it's like I do things the same. For instance, I always have at least one person being really surprised by something in each chapter. It's weird. I would acredit it to just being my personal syntax, but it feels like it's getting out of hand. I don't know, maybe I'm over-reacting, but it's still weird.
Oh, and it also extends to chapter reviews. I always feel like I'm saying something along the lines of "fantastic, now here's what you need to correct." It's...boring. I think what I need to do is put more thought into each review, say what I did/didn't like concerning the actual story, and then go into my critique. I would also try to guess what is going to happen in the near future, but I wouldn't want to spoil it for others if I happened to be right.
So yeah. Lots and lots going on.
EDIT: I just did this crazy thing! I had "Waters of Nazareth" playing on my computer, and I left the room for a bit. Then I randomly started snapping my fingers as I walked back, and when the song was in hearing range again, I realized that I was snapping in perfect time with the bass line! I'm so weird. XD
