I have a question.

If you can't trade from Silver/Gold to FireRed/LeafGreen, how do you get the 2nd generation pokemon into your game?

Thanks.

You can catch them some of them in FireRed and LeafGreen's Sevii Islands, and others in Pokemon Emerald's Safari Zone, as well as through Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.

Next time, please use the FireRed/LeafGreen Simple Questions thread for a question on trading Pokemon, or obtaining the 2nd-generation pokemon in FR/LG.

Is it possible to catch all of them without using Gale of Darkness and Colosseum?

Sorry about putting this in the wrong spot.

It is more difficult, but possible. Just keep in mind that outside of Nintendo events or cheating, the only way to get Ho-Oh is Colosseum and the only way to get Lugia is XD.

Don't forget about getting Ho-oh in Coloseum. That's a Jhoto Pokemon too! And I find it really hard to find.
Make sure you use the games own Pokemon if you intend to try and find it though.

This question has been answered and that is all the can be done to get all the Pokemon.

Next time you have a question, ask it in Simple Questions. Using it helps us reduce spam so it helps us help you. The link to this overly helpful thread is in my sig and in the group of stickies near the top of the FR/LG (GBA) thread listing.
