Opening stuff blah blah name:A, starter:Totodile, rival: ???
In the Sprout tower, I caught two gastlys (Alpha and Omega)
Needed help from Totodile to beat the gym, as they have no moves that can kill Normal types yet. He was still easy with Rage.
Got to Azalea, and Beat the second gym and rival
Got to Goldenrod and the route above, where Alpha finally evolved into a Haunter (and a Gengar as he was very shortly traded). Woohoo, now I just need to buy Ice Punch or something so I can do damage to Normal types. Don't know what level Omega is, but he's going to need to be a Gengar before Morty.
Now that I had a Gengar, I bought Ice, Thunder, and Fire Punch from the Dept. Store in Goldenrod. Whitney was easy as balls. Both of her Pokemon took two Thunderpunches.
I then started trying to get my second Gengar. This proved much harder than the first, as once again, I was limited to Lick as my only damaging move, and these Pokemon were stronger. I decided to enter the Ecruteak Gym after dispatching Sudowoodo. This way, I could switch out and kill them with Alpha.
Finally evolved in the Burned tower against ???
Went back and Defeated Morty. Got Shadow Ball. Now we're talking.
Finished up the Johto Gyms. Nothing too hard, because I don't remember any of them from yesterday. On to the elite four.
Will:

OHKO everyone but Slowbro w/ Omega's Shadow Ball. Slowbro took two and almost one hit me with psychic.

Koga: One hit Aridos, Venomoth, and Foretress w/ Fire Punch. Muk took 3 Fire Punches. Crobat was annoying because I kept missing with TPunch, so he took about 4 and almost killed me.

Bruno:

All of his pokemon but onix took multiple shots but couldn't kill Alpha.

Karen:

Froze Umbreon on the first Ice Punch and then killdt it. Murkrow and Vileplume went down with a single ice punch. Gengar and I licked like two children in a lollipop store in the middle of the summer. And Houndoom, who I was fearing, was being a dumba** and used Roar 5 times in a row. Moving on.

Final Battle Lance:

Easiest (other than Will). Gyarados OHKO w/ T Punch. Dragonites all OHKO w/ Ice Punch. Aerodactyl too. Charizard took like 2 shadow balls or something, don't know, don't care.
Figured that the hard part was done, so I might as well finish up.

Rescued the little girl and arrived in Vermilion.
Went to Saffron and got Psychic.
Went to Celadon, beat Erika, and got Giga Drain (which completed my final moveset).
Went to the Power Plant, to Cerulean, to Nugget Bridge, to Cerulean, and back to Power Plant to solve their crisis.
Beat Misty with either Thunderpunch or Giga Drain.
Beat Lt. Surge with lots of Fire Punches (hardest battle so far).
Sabrina was Shadow Ball bait.
Realized I didn't have the Radio Card or Bike, so I helped the Copycat in order to get back easily via train.
Got the Expansion Card and took out Snorlax.
Beat Brock with 5 Quad Super Effective Miracle Seed Powered Giga Drains
Blaine took 2 hits for all of his Pokemon, and even though he hit me with Flamethrower and Sunny Day powered Fire Blast, I still didn't lose a Pokemon.
Blue would have forced me to heal, but Arcanine, like Houndoom, used Roar almost exclusively.
Onward to Red!

Ok. Vs. Red

Pikachu was easy enough, lowered my attack while I killed it.
Snorlax... rest, rest, rest, rest, rest, rest, rest... Had to just switch back and forth until he ran out of them. I am now dangerously low on attacks for only having killed his second Pokemon.
Espeon outsped the Gengar with Shadow Ball, but not the other one. I proceeded to Fire Punch, faint, send out slave and revive, repeat, until I killed it.
Venusaur: I didn't know what to expect, so I healed the dead Gengar. It charged up a Solar Beam. I healed, and Solar Beam crit'd and almost one hit me. I healed it off again while Venusaur charged. Fire Punch, Solar beam, heal while Venusaur used Sunny Day, and then Fire Punch killed it.
Charizard: I hit him with a TPunch, but he killed Alpha. Omega put him to sleep, revived Alpha, and managed to kill him with Shadow Ball.
Blastoise: Alpha hit him with TPunch that Paralyzed, but he killed me with Surf. I then revive switched back and forth at least 10 times before he was fully paralyzed. Then one more sacrificial TPunch, and finish it off with Shadow Ball. GG Red.

Got to Rustboro (skipping all the trainers between the woods and city) and caught my first actual member (sorta): Shell1 the Nincada!

Saved the Devon Guy again
Went to the Dewford Cave thing
Caught my second member: Specter the Sableye after killing a Sableye with much better stats on accident.
What's that Brawly's gym? The only move that can hurt Specter is Makuhita's Knock Off? Aww, too bad. Got Knuckle Badge
Defeated everyone on the beach on the way to Slateport
Delivered Capt. Stern the goods, beat 2 Aquas, bought some Harbor Mail
Went back to Rustboro to get the Exp. Share for Nincada
Beat May and got itemfinder to end the day.

Beat everyone from May to Mauville, as well as the east and west of Mauville, to try to get Nincada to evolve. Also I beat Wally. After beating all the trainers, Nincada was at level 18, and almost 19, so I trained on wild Pokemon until I leveled up, then used my Rare Candy to evolve into Shedinja. I boxed the Ninjask. Enter Gym.
First trainer: Shedinja uses 6 Double Teams on Electrike, but gets Paralyzed, then uses Fury Swipes for the KO. Magnemite comes out. First turn: Supersonic hits me. And I hurt myself in confusion to kill myself. Sigh. Sableye finishes him.
The other trainers can't hurt me.
I SAVE before Wattson this time.
Battle Starts. I retry about 7 times before the following does not happen: Magnemite used Supersonic! Shedinja hurts itself in Confusion! Shedinja fainted! SO INFURIATING!!!
But on the 8th time, I got off not one, not two but ALL SIX Double Teams. It was smooth sailing from there, what with Shedinja's Fury Cutter and all. Magnemite fell in like 6 hits, Voltorb the next, and Magneton in three more (although he did manage to confuse me). With the Dynamo Badge in hand, I gladly accepted his Shock Wave TM and saved.

I then got both Rock Smash and Strength, and taught them to Zigzagoon and Grovyle, respectively. I also taught Shock Wave to my Sableye. I took out Gabby and Ty and saved.
Well, I copied a page out of rantis's book. Shedinja is useless in a Bug Monotype Challenge, and he's useless in a Ghost Monotype Challenge. I ditched him and picked up 4 Zigzagoons.

From Wattson, I battled my way to Vervanturf or whatever that place is called. I got HM 04, taught it to Treeko, and left. He is now full of HMs (Cut, Strength, Flash, Rock Smash)
I headed north, took out all the Winstrates, and then declined their offer to come inside.
Got to Fallorbor town. Talked to Lanette and went to meteor falls to stop team aqua.
Stopped them on Mt. Chimney.
Went down Jagged Path to fight Flannery. After the battle, May told me I should go fight my Dad.
I did, and it was actually a pretty tough battle. It turned into a Faint Attack fight, and finally I won.
Got Surf and taught it to one of the Zigzagoons.
Went back to Mauville, headed east.
Ran to Fortree, remembered I have to skip it to get the Scope, which I did, then took on the Gym. It was pretty hard, Altaria got a few DD's in and almost OHKO'd Sableye with EQ.
Considered teaching Sableye Aerial Ace, but didn't.
Went to Mt. Pyre to get Shadow Ball because I stupidly hit no to learning it by levels. Also picked up a Spell Tag.
Blah blah, completely destroyed Tate and Liza. Faint Attack OHKOd one of them on the first turn, and the other on the second turn.
Went and fought Archie over Kyogre.
Fought Kyogre. Toughest battle yet.
Beat Wallace, which was much easier than Kyogre.
Went to Victory Road.
Beat Wally as I was leaving.
Stocked up on Potions and entered the Elite Four!
Battle 1: Vs. Sydney
I didn't have any trouble with the first two, Sharpedo gave me some trouble, and then on Absol I almost fainted. Luckily, Shiftry was stupid and insisted on using Double Team, which Faint Attack had no problem with after it was weakened with Brick Break.

Battle 2: Vs. Phoebe
Time to see who is the better Ghost trainer! ... I am, as I one shot all of her Pokemon. I don't think I would have one shot Sableye, but my Shadow Ball got a Critical Hit.

Battle 3: Vs. Glacia
More problems thanks to Brick Break hardly doing any damage, but I scraped by. The only problem is, I'm running out of attacks, and I sold all my ehters because I didn't think I would need them!

Battle 4: Vs. Drake
I lost. I ran out of Shadow Balls, and he kept using Full Restores. I did get to Salamence, though.
Round 2
Sydney: This time, Mightyena used Swagger when I didn't one hit it with Brick Break. I killed it, and then snapped out of confusion while I was one hitting Cacturne. I went on to one hit his entire team. Much better start

Phoebe: Just like I thought, against Sableye, I only brought it down into low Yellow health with my shadow ball, which it return fired. Had to heal up after this one.

Glacia: Did better on her, but still think I'm using too may attacks.

Drake: A considerable amount easier. 2 Hit Shelgon to start things off.

Steven: 1st Steven Battle. Skarmory gave me some problems, but it hit itself in confusion a couple of times after Water Pulse confused him. Claydol went down in 2 Shadow Balls, but not before putting up a Reflect. Aggron was next, so I was lucky, because Brick Break one hit him. Armaldo was pretty easy, same with Cradidly, and I found myself on his last Pokemon, Metagross. Faint Attack did just under 1/3 of his health, Water Pulse put him at just over half, and then I crit him with my last Faint Attack and he hurt himself in confusion to kill himself.
