Nicolas' sprite showcase #2

BUMPDATE!
It's been almost a month now since I last posted here... I just couldn't post here because of school and homework -_-

here's an 8-bit sprite I tried to do :)

(thanks to Smash for being an inspiration :D)

Gotta stick to my own style of spriting...
here's a Natu revamp

Nicolas, you can do alot better then that revamp, and you know that :p
It's a mistake to just recouler a revamp, and fix around the shading abit.
You could have easily done some edits and play around with his shape abit.

But this revamp is better then most revampers here, I give you that.

I like your apple, it's simple still very nice, much detail.
Might suggest you give it one little highlight for some shine effect, but other then that I like it :)

In my revamps, sometimes I just arrange the original parts and wham! A revamp ready to go
but I sometimes do revamps from the original GSC sprite, directly revamping it or revamping it by adding parts and changing the outline

about the apple, expect few sprites about that 8-bit image :P

Your ow's are good, the first one has a nicer shading compare to the other, but I think the second one has better shaded wing's, maybe try switching the wings from first with the second one?

Sprite of falkner is nice, but his pants need more shading, looks to flat this way.
And his ( our left feet) has a bad anotomy, might fix that too.
Other then that I like it :)

I tried to do fakemons so I made one for the Pixel Art contest

you should try and distinguish more between the arm only being partly shown and the body, it seems to kinda blend to much.

are you referring to the arrow thing on the dress? if you are, it's a part of the dress and yes I made that as is too look like it's attached on the dress

I don't quite understand the variation of those colors... maybe 8-bit sprites don't quite fit in with 2d games :\

These are all very good except two. Your middle battle Sprites look like they suddenly just cut off at the back.

What battle sprite? are you referring to the sprites at the first page or the ones on the other pages?

i have to say that haunter sprite is the BEST!

I think it's best that you read the rules. This comment isn't elaborative or constructive in the slightest. say why you think it's the best. It's really not hard.

what a new year. ok I like Trainer Sprites go pokeball... why is the pokemon on fire oh crap lol. and also like the pokemon not the real one but the fake that takes guts to post keep it up.

I tried to do Anime and came up with this...

I'm currently using this as an avatar (with transparency)

and yes... I'm going to edit the borderlines :)

BUMPDATE:
here's my "first" ever fakemon based on Butterfree
"Colorania" is the name and I'm going to redo it by making a pixel-over of it

here's what I've come up with
and yes, Colorania is upside down because of the tree climbing and stuff, sorta like a butterfly/bat pokemon, I think :P
