Pokemon Online mmorpg

wow nice job. at least there is a decent game in pokecommunity the only 2 game i like here so far is this game and crystal reflection. oh and can u show a screen with more than one person in it so we know its an online game

geo logic and I did it
we have been working on this since november last year just trying to get the client server stuff going
we have put in an inbuilt map editor so anyone with the client and is an admin or mapper can map edit in game

we would love help with the sprites
we have probably 700 plus sprites finished only this is they need to be rearanged in one file in a spcific order
and seeing as im lazy and working on the coding side i have done about 7 out ot 700 which is what 1%
100 of them are ruby/shapire ripps the other 600 are color changes of the oringinal 100 lol
so you could help if you like by adding a few more to this that would be cool

Also quick question are fire red and leaf green character sprites better quality graphics than ruby ones
i think there are but statnio reckons there the same
if fire red l/g are better we need to uses thoose basically get all the sprites from them including npc's

oh and how many maps

well hopefully in the end it will all look seamless but to give you an idea
currently
pokemon center 1 map
police 1
pallet town 2
route one 5 still 4 too go on route 1

soo far 13?

maps are 30 by 30 squares in order to prevent lagging

Hmm, this game looks promising.....I always wanted a Pokemon MMORPG and so have my other pokemon fan friends, this will be great.....

A pokemon MMORPG. I can't wait for this. This sounds even better than Pokemon Crater.

I really want to know what kind of system are you using for this game? Are you using a playerworlds system, because the screenshots look kind of like that.

animated emotion (thesse apear on top of you in thought or speack bubbles)

Well yeah Crater isn't finsihed. And like I said before this looks even better than Crater.

Beacause i have to code the lot
and 386 pokemon all in the same region? thats too much
this is not like the gba games where there is 2 diffrent versions with diffrent pokemon its the one with all 150 so its big enough
somewhere in the far future we may decide to add regions

Well which group of pokemon will be in the first region. R/B/Y, G/S/C? or R/S/E/. Sounds like R/B/Y pokemon to me.

Now this might be a little in advance. But when are we gonna see this game on the net able to be played.

i caught him in red without cheating

i think mew will be alot rarer maybey we'll give mew away
for some competiton or first to beat the pokemon league
or something

yea there is allready a chatting system
buddy list and private messages are on the way

Something I think would be good to add,
Customiseable Hairsyles/Clothes? It would give the game alot more of a "Realistic" feel.

Wait a second. The only pokemon that I know that you catch in red, blue, or yellow without cheating is Mewtwo. Mew cant be caught on any game but Emerald without a cheat or Nintendo Promotion.
