Ages ago, in the world of Weyard, the omnipotent force of Alchemy provided all manner of culture and power to its people. In this age, the ability to use Alchemy and Psynergy was unfettered and accessible to the general populace, and civilization had reached great levels of development. Various clans of Adepts (Psynergy-wielding individuals) existed across Weyard, and the landmasses of Weyard itself were far more uniform: It generally resembled the shape of a giant crescent moon. The four Lighthouses were lit at this time, providing energy to both the world and the people. This power allowed the people of Weyard to accomplish incredible feats of architecture, art, and music. But in this distant past, during Weyard's Golden Age, Alchemy was also used for more malevolent purposes.

    For war.

As the story goes, conquest and war eventually became objectives amongst those who desired power, riches, and dominion over all that lived, and global war fueled by the misuse of Alchemy for military purposes yielded potentially catastrophic results for Weyard; the world would have been torn apart if not for the efforts of a group of brave and wise men who took it upon themselves to seal Alchemy away by removing the Elemental Stars from the four Lighthouses, and confining the jewels in the innermost reaches of Mt. Aleph's Sol Sanctum. The world and the people were saved from themselves, but deprived of a massive resource, and Alchemy and the four Lighthouses would remain dormant for ages to come.

With the sealing of Alchemy, Weyard's landmasses gradually began to break up and decrease in size over the ages, though this would not be noticed by the general populace due to how gradual it was. However, over time the populace began to lose much more; Civilization thrives by building upon the knowledge of the past, and the disappearance of both Alchemy and seemingly Psynergy as well caused the various cultures of the world to lose knowledge and become more primitive over the ages.

However, the sealing of Alchemy had one more dire consequence; without the powers of Alchemy to feed and nurture Weyard, the world started to deteriorate. Gaia Falls, the enormous waterfalls at the edges of the world between Weyard and the infinite void, have slowly began growing inward as the world's edge crumbles and falls into the void

In the Northern Reaches of Weyard, far above the arctic circle, the settlement of Prox was in imminent danger of being lost to the void. learned that in order to save Weyard from crumbling away the four Elemental Lighthouses must be lit. A group of Prox's finest warriors were sent to Vale to inform the elders there of the danger Weyard was in, but their message fell on deaf ears. During this trip, the Proxians investigated Sol Sanctum, accidentally triggering the storm that caused the Mt. Aleph boulder to fall. The entire Proxian party was wiped out during the storm except for two, Saturos and Menardi. Three years later, the two attempted once again to infiltrate Sol Sanctum and retrieve the elemental stars needed to light the four lighthouses. While they were initially successful, they were soon met with resistance

The "Wise One ", the monolithic guardian of Mt.Aleph, tasked Isaac and Garet (two young Valeans) with stopping the lighting of the Lighthouses for fear that once Alchemy would be released, the past would repeat itself, and Weyard would be consumed by a world war once again. Isaac and Garet eventually were joined by Ivan (a Jupiter Adept) and Mia (a Mercury Adept), and the four continued their quest to stop Saturos and Menardi. While both the Mercury and Venus lighthouses were lit, the four Adepts were able to defeat Saturos and Menardi atop Venus Lighthouse, and the two Proxians fell to their deaths.

But their quest carried on through Felix and Jenna (both citizens of Vale), and Sheba (a Jupiter Adept). While the three were initially the Proxians' hostages, they had learned of Weyard's decline and imminent doom, and took up the quest to light the two remaining lighthouses. They were later joined by Piers, a Mercury Adept from Lemuria (the last remaining great civilization), and the four Adepts set out to save the world. They lit Jupiter Lighthouse, where they encountered Isaac and the others once again. After explaining the current situation of the world to them, Isaac and his party gladly joined up with them.

The team of eight Adepts continued their quest and traveled across Weyard to the north and to Prox, where the Mars Lighthouse was located. After overcoming the Wise One's "miracle", a dragon formed from Felix and Jenna's parents and Isaac's father, they lit the final lighthouse. The Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars lighthouses are lit, and their beacons merge their lights into one focal point in the airspace of Mt. Aleph, forming the Golden Sun. In turn, the Golden Sun shoots out a ray that pierces the mountain and activates the Stone of Sages within. With this, the world of Weyard and all its inhabitants are infused with the omnipotent force of Alchemy, and as a result the climate is re-stabilized and the world's inner life force is renewed.

Alex stands at the peak of Mt. Aleph, standing in the center of the Golden Sun's stream of Alchemy-based energy into the mountain as it passes through his body. Once it ends, Alex is ecstatic with his newfound power and near-limitless life, and he is all too eager to test his power. He therefore attempts to summon a thunderstorm to attack Vale at the mountain's foothills below, but the storm fails to manifest. The Wise One appears and explains to Alex that he has not gained the entirety of the Golden Sun's power, for the Wise One took precautions to counteract Alex's would-be attempt at dominion. Alex may possess the majority of the Golden Sun's power, but the rest has entered Isaac's body, leaving Alex's mastery of Alchemy incomplete. Gravely disheartened and enraged that Isaac and the Wise One have robbed him of his dream, Alex attacks the Wise One with the power he has, but the guardian seems to paralyze him to the ground. Then the mountain and the surrounding landscape suddenly mutate and collapse, and the Wise One abandons Alex, saying that he may not survive this reformation. Alex, unable to flee, seems to disappear into oblivion as Mt. Aleph sinks into the ground.

Meanwhile, Isaac, Felix, and their friends evacuate the Mars Lighthouse which is now exhuming excess Mars Psynergy, and the energy causes the miraculous revival of their parents. Isaac and Felix immediately bring them back to Prox, where they are nursed to health by the Proxeans. Now that Alchemy has returned and Prox has been saved from doom along with the rest of the world, the Adepts and their parents receive heartfelt gratitude from the Proxeans even as the townsfolk feel remorse for the fates of their fallen heroes Saturos, Menardi, Karst, and Agatio. After saying goodbye, the Adepts sail back to their hometown of Vale. However, upon reaching it, they behold one last tragedy: The town of Vale has been erased alongside Mt. Aleph, and all of its inhabitants, including Garet's family, are believed to be lost. But suddenly, all of the townspeople of Vale, including Isaac's mother, show up in perfectly sound shape, and they explain that the Wise One evacuated them out of Vale before the town was destroyed. A great bout of rejoicing ensues; everything turned out for the best.

Kraden is able to figure out that The Wise One, as an upper-tier being whose divine charge was to safeguard Alchemy's seal, constructed a giant test of some sort through all this. The Wise One knew that Alchemy would be a destructive force if it was abused by humans like it was abused in the ancient past, so he subjected Isaac and all of his friends to the trauma at Mars Lighthouse to test their virtues to see if they carried the strength necessary of the role of guiding Weyard down the path of civilization and peace as opposed to the path of warfare and power struggles, and to that end Isaac and his companions have succeeded.

More than a decade has passed since that fateful day when Alchemy was released upon the world, and drastic changes have been made. Civilization has taken a huge forward leap; buildings and structures have been erected on a scale not seen since Weyard's ancient past, and while the world has not yet returned to that "Golden Age", it is safe to say that civilization on Weyard has entered a temporary "Silver Age" and is well on its way to returning to its former glory.

But not all is peaceful in this ever-changing world. Tensions run high in the Alchemy-imbued, politically unstable Weyard and with Alchemy readily available, disagreements can rapidly escalate to an all-out war. It seems that the fears of the Wise One may become a reality.

It was for this reason that Iodem, the new ruler of Tolbi (the largest and most prosperous city in Weyard) assembled what is known as the "League of Adepts". He has gathered Adepts from across Weyard and brought them together to help keep the peace in these potentially unstable times. Instructed by the eight Adepts that helped unseal Alchemy and other skilled wielders of Psynergy from throughout Weyard, and put through an intensive training program, these Adepts quickly become highly skilled in the use of Psynergy and Alchemy.

But things are about to take a turn for the worst. Unknown to Iodem or the League, four ancient Master-Adepts have awakened after millennia of hibernation. These Adepts are Anathema; people accursed and consigned to damnation or destruction. They have embraced strange, otherworldly forms of Psynergy: Saturn, energy and force; Uranus, metal and crystals; Neptune, destruction and storms; Pluto, darkness and death. They are ancient beings of nearly godlike power who lived during Weyard's lost "Golden Age" and were sealed away with Alchemy. Now that the seal on Alchemy has been broken, they have awakened as well. But their imprisonment for all those years have left their powers at substantially diminished levels, and the lights of Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter block their powers from returning to their fullest.

So they have devised a plan. For some months they have been amassing their power; bringing the power-hungry into their folds to accomplish their goals; the corruption of the four lighthouses and the distortion and corruption of all Alchemy on Weyard. They hope to convert the lighthouses to project their otherworldly elements. Even Alchemy's guardian, the mighty Wise One, has little clue as to what they are doing. But he has realized that something is amiss, and has contacted the eight Adepts who unsealed Alchemy.

Knowing that this quest will encompass more fronts than eight Adepts can handle alone, they have turned to Iodem and the League of Adepts to help bolster their capabilities in solving this mystery and avoiding disaster.

You are one of these Adepts, trained and schooled by some of the brightest and most talented individuals in all of Weyard. You have been given skills beyond the scope of most men and women, and you have been given the knowledge to use those skills correctly for the greater good. Your quest as it is now is to uncover the plot of the four "Anathema" Master-Adepts and prevent that plan from coming to fruition. You are aided by some of the finest minds Weyard has to offer; the scholar Kraden is an especially important asset to the League and his knowledge on Alchemy has few equals. As a member of the League of Adepts, you must follow a certain code:

    1. The use of League status and Psynergy for selfish or greedy means is strictly prohibited. The breaking of this rule may result in expulsion from the League of Adepts.

    2. Voilence is used only as a last resort to solve conflicts, when all other options have failed. It is always the goal of the League to inspire trust from the common people, therefore violence against other people is discouraged unless all other options have been deemed failures.

    3. Against truly malevolent and destructive beings, violence is often times necessary. As such beings often wish great harm onto others, all steps must be taken to insure that such harm befalls as few as possible.

    4. The use of excessive or lethal force is highly discouraged. However, in instances where a force cannot be simply disarmed or defeated, when the wellbeing of the general public is at stake, drastic measures must be taken, and lethal force is authorized.

    5. The laws of local towns take priority. The League of Adepts is not to become involved matters of local law so long as these matters do not pertain to the misuse of Alchemy. The League of Adepts have jurisdiction over such matters involving Alchemy.

    6. A member of the League of Adepts will protect the innocent at all costs. The League of Adepts is an organization for the people. The League protects not the powerful or the rich, but the just and the true. Therefore, whether one is rich or poor; Proxian or Lemurian, so long as they are innocent and good, the League of Adepts will protect them and punish those who would harm them.

Alchemy: Alchemy is a power that draws from the Elements. Adepts use the power of Alchemy to channel Psynergy, and scholars, such as Kraden, study the effects of Alchemy on the world of Weyard. According to Kraden and King Hydros of Lemuria, Alchemy was sealed away by wise, brave men to prevent mankind from destroying itself. Gaia Falls slowly consumes Weyard as Alchemy is sealed, for Alchemy is the life force of the Golden Sun world, and without it, the world withers away.

Alchemy was once common place in Weyard, giving birth to great civilization, and all that is around the Golden Sun world. Alchemy is composed of the four elements, Fire and Earth, Wind and Water.

Alchemy in the Golden Sun series is heavily based off the actual study of Alchemy in real life, and many plot elements are based on legends of Alchemy, such as the Lemurian draught, which is the in-game equivalent of the elixer of life.

Psynergy: Psynergy is the ability to conjure sorcerous effects based on the elements and fueled by the spiritual power of the person's mind; a similar but different art exists in the form of Chi, which is the concept of harnessing the energy of one's body to achieve more physical effects. Psynergy is aligned to the four different Elements: Venus (earth and plants), Mars (fire and heat), Jupiter (wind and lightning), and Mercury (water and ice).

Psynergy that is not aligned with the elements, meaning it is not used for attack or planned defense, is more or less like the classic description of telekinesis or psychic power. Adepts can use this power to move, levitate, and carry objects such as statues and boulders. However, certain elemental powers of Psynergy are used for both attack and usage outside of battle. These powers grow as time goes on.

Utility Psynergy: These are the typical types of utility Psynergy for each of the four Adept types. There are limits to what kinds of Utility Psynergy you can use. Venus and Mars Adepts share a symbiotic relationship, as do Mercury and Jupiter. As such, the non-specific Psynergy (in terms of elements) can be shared by the two sets (Venus can use some Mars Utility Psynergy, and visa versa, etc.) However, certain types of items exist which can bestow an Adept with various utility Psynergy, and we can/will obtain some of those throughout the RP. The Psynergy below in Parenthesis are the Psynergy that can be shared between the two symbiotic groups.

    Venus:
(Pound, Carry, Scoop,) Catch, Growth, Retreat, Grind, Sand, Tremor

    Mars:
    (Force, Move,) Blaze, Burst

    Mercury:
(Cloak, Lift,) Avoid, Douse, Frost, Parch

    Jupiter:
(Halt, Lash,) Mind Read, Reveal, Whirlwind, Cyclone, Hover, Teleport

Adept Animal Partners: Since the unsealing of Alchemy, normal animals have begun to show adeptness with Psynergy as well. Many Adepts form strong bonds with an animal of similar Psynergetic alignment and personality. These animals are capable of utilizing Psynergy to a somewhat limited degree, can bolster an Adept's power (similar to the Djinn of the games), and can even alter the Psynergy an Adept can use.

    Name: Lance Donovan
    Age: 24
    Gender: Male
    Alignment: Venus
    Fighting Style: Warrior
    Home Town: Gondowan Settlement
Physical Description: Lance stands just over six feet tall. He has brown eyes and brown hair that reaches just past his shoulders and is usually tied back in a ponytail. Because of his training as part of the League of Adepts, Lance is in excellent physical condition. But as a result of this training, Lance carries all the cuts and scars that go along with it. His entire body is a mural of scars: from old, white, faded scars to new, thick, pink and puckered gashes. Lance generally doesn't wear any one outfit all the time, but he is known to wear a set of blue armor with gold accents with a yellow scarf-cape sort of number.
Personality Profile: Lance is very driven and devoted to the ideals of the League of Adepts. However he is occasionally frustrated by all the rules and "red tape" that he has to go through in order to do his job. Lance is opinionated and quite stubborn when it comes to some things. He has a strong sense of duty and loyalty to not only his friends and family, and the League, but also to himself.
Brief Personal Background: Lance and his parents were among the first to move to the small Gondowan Settlement after the unsealing of Alchemy. The small Settlement slowly began to build into a rather large city-town, with Lance's father - the town jeweler - gaining a great reputation in the area. His father would obtain Psynergy stones and other precious stones from the nearby Magma Rock and cheap ores from Loho up the coast, and he would fashion them into glamorous and beautiful pieces of jewelry to sell in Tolbi and Contigo. The young Lance was particularly attached to, and amused by, a perfectly round Psynergy stone that his father had, and took it with him everywhere.

However, constant exposure to the stone caused Lance's Psynergetic powers to suddenly manifest and spike uncontrollably. A childhood nightmare sparked an unintentional release of power that took the form of a tremendous earthquake, revealing Lance's status as a Venus Adept. At only seven years old, and without anyone around who could instruct Lance on the proper use of his new powers, they raged out of control, and he became a danger to himself and those around him. It was then that Isaac and Felix, as a favor to Iodem, arrived at the Gondowan Settlement. They met with Lance and his parents and explained his abilities. They also said that they could take him to Tolbi where he would be trained to use these powers and abilities so that he would no longer be a danger. Lance's parents were reluctant, but after learning that they would be allowed to keep in contact with Lance, and that he would be well cared for, they relented, and Lance went with Isaac and Felix.

They brought him to Tolbi, to meet with Iodem and the rest of the newly formed "League of Adepts". There, Lance began training with some of the Elders of Vale, who were among the most knowledgeable teachers of Psynergy in all of Weyard. He learned fighting techniques from Isaac and some of the most skilled fighters in the world. Lance and many other young students also were taught about Psynergy and Alchemy by the scholar Kraden.

Lance spent several years in training, and would occasionally travel back to the Gondowan Settlement for a short time to visit with his parents. However, his visits became shorter and less frequent as time passed, until he saw his parents only once a year. While this indeed saddened him, Lance was dedicated to the ideals of the League of Adepts, and devoted to its cause. By his eighteenth birthday, Lance completed his training and was promoted to the rank of "Sentry", meaning he was an active member of the League of Adepts and no longer a student. He remains as one of the League's top young operatives, widely recognized for his promising potential.
Weapon(s) + Description: Gaia Blade; One of Isaac's old weapons. Lance received it after his graduation to the rank of "Sentry". It has a powerful "unleash" effect called "Titan Blade" in which a mighty sword is formed above the opponent before crashing down upon them.
Utility Psynergy: Move, Force, Sand, Growth, Retreat
Animal Adept Partner: Amon, a lion. Amon is aligned to the Venus (Earth) element. Lance first met Amon when they were both quite young, Lance himself being ten years old, and Amon being the lion equivalent of a ten year old. The lion had been separated from the rest of his pride, and was stumbled upon by Lance and several other Adepts-in-training. Their relationship started out slowly; Lance tossed the young lion bits of scraps from their camp, and Amon would quickly grab the food and retreat to eat away from them. This routine continued for some time, until Lance gained Amon's trust, and the lion was convinced he could approach safely. When the time came for Lance and his companions to leave the grasslands where Amon had met them, the young lion followed them all the way back to Tolbi. There, Kraden informed the group of Adepts about their potential partnership with animals, and Lance understood what happened between the two of them. Since that day, the two have rarely been apart. Lance has matured into a strong, confident, young adult, and Amon has grown into a massively powerful specimen of a lion. He is immense, coming it at over 600 pounds of pure big-cat muscle. When Lance links his Psynergy with Amon, he becomes the equivalent of the "Samurai/Ronin" class.

  • Name: Nero Ambrosia

    Age: 23

    Gender: Male

    Alignment: Jupiter

    Fighting Style: Mage

    Home Town: Contingo

    Physical Description:
    ver6g2o4pb5.jpg

Personality Profile:Nero is I guess what you would consider a "stainless" person; faultless and blameless. He is very sweet and polite, even though he left the comfort of home life to be alone. He seems to try to be loving, and so, never argues or disagrees unless necessary. . He also is very brave and never seems to get frightened. But, even though he seems blameless, he has some personal problems. he does have some flaws. Becuase of his past life; the life or running off into the world alone, he has no idea how to love someone; either as a friend or more. He is mentally oriented in such a way that he feels leaning on others would bring nothing more than rejection...

    Brief Personal Background:
Nero was born to the elder sister of Ivan; the renowned and one of the most respected citizens of Contingo. Being an adept by birth; Nero was highly respected from birth. His mother trained him herself along with Ivan. He was trained to twist the wind according to his will, and everything that came along with it. He received the nickname "Air bender" at the age of 14, and as he grew up in contingo, he kept on getting better.

However, his fame and fortune ended the day he moved to the shaman village to learn the power of Hover. He learnt the ability promptly as expected, but unfortunately for him, there was a theft in the village prior to the time he left; and a general inspection was carried out, and it was found out that no one in the whole village had it; and so, he was the prime suspect. He was tried, watched and interrogated, but found innocent.

However those were the main issues in his life...and it led to bad blood between him and the village. His life was constantly threatened during this times, and so...he decided to leave contingo for Prox...a place so far that he would be forgotten...

Life in prox wasn't easy for him, he had hitched a ship ride to get there and so, he wasn't fully prepared. His life was difficult, and full of challenges, but nevertheless, his psyenergy helped him a lot. After a while, when the scholar Kraden visited prox; he took Nero off the streets because he saw his potetials. He knew he was a valuable adept and so, he took him under his wing in order to prevent corruption...ever since, he has been with Kraden, in the league...learning more...in order to protect Weyard.

Weapon(s) + Description: Staff of Annubis; a golden staff with a shape that matches a traditional egyptian occult cross, and 'the forget-me-not' looking ruby at the top of the cross. As every other weapon, this staff speaks with a wrathful howl...and unlike any other, releases Sarcophagus...a large sarcophagus stands behind the opponent, seemingly showing the date of death in the traditional egyption hierographical writing, and then, it vanishes along with the person's soul...or so it seems as it has only been used to vanquish monsters.

Utility Psynergy: Reveal, Cyclone, Teleport, whirlwind, mindread,

Animal Adept Partner: A pereguine falcon by the name Odie; A jupiter allyed Bird
    Peregrine.jpg
    [/IMG]

Now, even though Odie encountered Nero not to long ago, Nero has quite a very detailed knowledge of what Odie has gone through due to his ability to read minds. It all started when Kraden picked Nero from Prox; the time when Nero joined the League...he was a skilled Adept with an affinity to wind, but even though he was skilled, it seemed like there was little will in his body to become stronger...this was because he seemed to last fewer moments in battles than some others who didn't seem to have his capabilities...even though he did not know the cause (the inability of him to switch to powerful classes because of no Djinni, which in this case would be animal partner), he was always desperate to find a partner he could spend quality time with...

However his prayers were answered the very day he visited Garoh en tour. He was interested in gaining some wisdom from the wise werewolves, but unfortunately for him, he was oblivious to the fact that the werewolves hid during the day... As disapointed a he was; he had to turn back...all the way, back to where he was coming from...

On his way back, he encountered a Peregrine falcon who seemed to be on a rampage. But, however, due to the mind reading abilities of his, he was able to draw the skirmish to an end by reading the falcons mind and detecting that it was warning him or fearsome creatures that were lurking around the path he was to take.

However, since that day, he and the falcon have been one with each other, helping themselves in the best ways they can, while still retaining a peaceful relationship...this falcon has no reasons to be edgy, moody nor emotionally depressed as it's friend; Nero, is always willing to be helpful.

Thus, because of all they have gone through, Odie helps Nero in every way he can...as a spy/scout, and also, as a very protective pet. Odie changes Nero to Pilgrim class.

  • Name: Seth Lander

    Age: 24

    Gender: Male

    Alignment: Mercury

    Fighting Style: Warrior

    Home Town: Vault

Physical Description: Seth is 6 foot tall with black hair, cut short to halfway down his neck, and silver eyes. He has a lean body, so he can bend completely at the waist and dodge a more than average amount of attacks. Ever since he joined the legue, Seth has barely gotten any scars because he has a low pain tolerence and tries really hard to not be scarred too much. Rather than do a lot of physical training, he would more likely be practicing straight from the books. The few scars he has are the result of practicing advanced techniques from the books in the library. Either way, he is in the best physical condition since he worked as a cabin boy. Even though blue is Mercury's signature color, he is known to wear dark green armor with some brown splotches on his torso and legs. He also weare a blackish green hat that he got as a kid and black boots.

Personality Profile: You could call Seth a pristine character. Every day after training, no matter how light, he takes a swim in a local river. He never wears the same clothing outfit everyday, and keeps his armor clean and polished. when he has time off from training, which is hardly ever he will go to the library and read up on higher grade techniques. He also generally keeps away from the rest of the group and trains alone so he is a bit of an outcast. The only times he will be seen angry is when he is training alone or when he is trying to master one skill too many.

Brief Personal Background: Seth had a troubled childhood. Born in a time of strife and hardship in his family, what with theives and all. When he was born his mother and father found that he was attracting water to his body for reasons unknown. He was a mercury adept. At the age of 10 Seth had an exceptional intellect and he noticed his families distress when he was around. He packed up his stuff ( Which consisted of two complete outfits, a wooden sword and a hat he found that was tossed, With the league's symbol, whatever it is) and went to the docks to stow away on the ship that went from Kalay to Tolbi.

Seth stayed on the ship until he was 19, (yes he was on the ship for 14 years.) working as a cabin boy. Once he had gained enough gold, however he set of to Imil where the Mercury Lighthouse stands sentinel. While he was working the lighthouse he found that his power was increased and almost umlimited. Since the beacon was lit this was almost true. It was at Imil that Seth had a certain way with animals, instanrly calming them when he comforts them and he has healed wild animals that have been wrongfully injured. He was praying to the Goddess Mercury when a few League enlisters came in. They were recruiting people to join the League of Adepts. When they saw Seth, They stopped and one of them walked up and said the following:

"Mercury Adept, You have been selected to join the League of Adepts and train to save Weyward. You have two days to comply to the gaurd in your town with your pack in hand and leave. Make the right choice. We are a group of people who are not afraid to take things into our own hands to help save people and change our future. You will be told the full extent of our purpose, should you accept, on the way there."

It didn't take long for Seth to process this and rush to the inn where he was staying to pack. He was packed and ready to go before nightfall so he notified the gaurd early. Then he was on his way to the rest of the League. When Seth was on the ship to tolbi and the League the enlister launched into his story.

Knowing that this quest will encompass more fronts than eight Adepts can handle alone, they have turned to Iodem and the League of Adepts to help bolster their capabilities in solving this mystery and avoiding disaster." The enlister finished and waited for Seths reaction. What he received was not what was expected. He thought that Seth would try to back down , and was startled when he got really excited he had to dive into the water to contain his joy.

When he got to Tolbi, he was facinated by all the merchants and people there. The gaurds took him to his room and let him get comfortable as in get his bags down and get to the training grounds. That was when he noticed a black wolf lying injured and took her to the palace medic. When he finally got to the grounds he jumped into the training method like he never missed any of it. He trained for the next 5 years he was there. As he was practicing some advanced techniques when Peirs walked by. He noticed that Seth was a Mercury Adept and that he was training alone and walked up to him saying, " You should never practice alone," which startled Seth a bit but not too much." Why don't we see how far you have progressed." Peirs took him to the training arena and declared a training match. "The rule is no psyenergy allowed." and they began. 25 minutes later Peirs finally beat Seth and saw Seth had a lot of untapped potential. He rewarded Seth with the Cloud Brand as his first actual (non-training) sword. "Take good care of it and be sure to go out of your way to visit Izumo when you get the chance." Peirs turned and left, leaving Seth stunned.

Weapon(s) + Description: Cloud Brand- A mystical blade that was found in the remains of the Serpent, Seth received the mighty sword when he fought Peirs in a training match,(no psyenergy), and lasted about 25 minutes (which is a lot longer than anyone else). The blade is revered by the people of Izumo and it has a blue gem in it. The handle is a golden color. It's special is Raidens Wrath and it summons Raiden to attack its enemy.

Utility Psynergy: (choose 5) Parch, Cloak, Halt, Lash, Avoid

    Animal Adept Partner: Blair-
    2229958277_e9bff3f3e7.jpg
    spaceball.gif
A pitch black adult wolf who is of the Mercury element. She changes Seths class to Cavalier. She has the ability to

breath any form of water, in as well as out, and she is able to clone herself so there could be , (i dont know), five wolves behind Seth anytime. each clone is weaker than herself w/o cloning, as well as merge the clones back into her selv, all at one time or one at a time.
History: Blair was injured when Seth first noticed her. He was looking for the rest of the adepts when he noticed her. The wolf did not show the symptoms of being sick or rabid, or, from what he could tell, it wasn't a life-threatening injury, but it still pained the wolf to move for any length of time. He picked her up and ran back to the base, Screw the onsequences' where they were stationed and told the medic crew to heal her. that was about 6 months ago, and since then their friendship has gradually gotten better. He would see her limping with the other wolves in the area and waiting to see if he would harm her. When it became apparent that he wasn't going to harm her, she became a bit braver and started to slowly walk up to him in the camp in broad daylight. This took awhile, because the rest of the camp kept scaring her off. One evening Seth was sitting at the edge of camp looking at the stars when she came up to him. Seth reluctantly put his hand out and was about to gently pet her when there was a commotion in the camp. Apparently the rest of the camp saw the wolf and thought she meant him harm. Blair was too scared to move so when they advanced on her Seth walked calmly in front of her and the camp clearly saying, without talking, that they should back down or he would fight for her. They got the message and backed down, slower than what Seth would have liked and some congradulated him for protecting the wolf.

( I will edit it later and spill the contents of his pack when he left later when i get to it.)

  • Altin I know you're not done, but based on what's already here, Denied:
    1. You need a last name. I know that there were never last names in the games, but there are here. Also, "Altin" is the name of a town in the Golden Sun world. You don't have to use your user-name in all your signups.

    2. 16 is a little too young, depending on his history, I might have accepted it, but lots needs to be changed.

    3. Change your allignment. We already have a Venus Adept. And since Got-A-Plan-B has reserved Mars, and Kuchiki has the Jupiter, that leaves only Mercury left.

    4. Edit the physical description...shirtless? Jeans? Being shirtless all the time really isn't that useful when you're in combat (since you're lacking protection), and Jeans don't really exist in the Golden Sun world.

    5. How would your brief background be similar to Isaac's or Felix's? Just cus you're from Vale?

    6. Weapons. Change them. My character already has the Gaia Blade, and (while I didn't mention it), the Sol Blade is one of those weapons that isn't allowed for RPers. IT'll have a story-line purpose, but it's too powerful for regular adepts to use.

    7. Utility Psynergy: you totally missed the boat with this one. There's a whole list of Utility psynergy available. Read what it is before making your selections.

And put spaces between the colon ( : ) and your parenthesis. other wise it becomes a smiley face.

  • Name: Drake Arnian

    Age: 21

    Alignment: Mars

    Fighting Style: Warrior

    Hometown: Yallam

Physical Description: Standing at 6"2, Drake is not your typical hulking, brutish Fire Adept like Agatio, but instead resembles the tall and lanky appearance of Saturos. Despite that, Drake is peak condition and packs an extremely well toned body, allowing him to attract about 95% of the female species. Drake makes a clean cut appearance being well groomed and always tidy and his slight tan due to his constant work in the sun has left him containing almost perfect appearance. No physical injuries are apparent leaving other fighters wondering if he lacks experience or is that damn good at battling to avoid physical harm.

Top down, Drake strongly resembles your typical young man of his time. His hair contains a reddish brown hue and the styling is nearly non-existent. (Every play Smash bros Melee? Picture Roy's hair from that game). His face is youthful and always cheery, so at first glance he appears to be more like 16 or 17, due to his dark pools of blue eyes and constant smile. His toned body is covered by an armored tunic which offers both movement and protection (This will be hard to explain effectively). At the neck level, Drake's gray cape swings down, reaching knee level. Covering his shoulders are steel pauldrons, and his sword sheath strap runs across his right shoulder around his torso. Speaking of torso, a green tunic with chain mail underneath keeps his body in check and protected. His arms are clothed by armored gauntlets (think Zelda style) providing effective protection and offense as well. Gray pants run down his legs and rough leather boots allow for perfection in both armor and mobility.

Drake typically stands up straight in a confident though not cocky manner. His walk is regular and not showman-istic, as if he seeks to blend in rather than stand out. Drake's face is normally very animated and fully displays his emotions through expressions, allowing him to get out of talking in numerous moments. His voice is typical of that of a 18 year old, carrying a somewhat rebellious tone even though Drake follows the rules in most situations.

Personality Profile: As far as dedication goes, Drake is probably the most unmotivated person around. Instead of constant traveling and quests, Drake prefers to relax and do local jobs for people and help commoners in whatever location he happens to be in. Amongst the laziness however lies positive traits. Drake is confident and resourceful as well as effective in his abilities as an adept. A little on the shy and skeptical side, he is slow to trust people fully though he will frequently make friends due to childish charm, but his trust issues prevent him from making true close friends. He fears committment in all aspects, from true relationships to quests making him unrealible in many aspects. However, given enough incentive whether is money, promotions or a simple reward he will committ to something and try his hardest to complete to. Not particularly intelligent, Drake resembles Garet in his day to day personality and the way he carries himself. Not one to disobey orders, Drake is perfect follower and a poor leader, as he even admits though he enjoys having his opinions heard and known.

History: Born and raised in Yallam the town of smiths, Drake grew up like any other kid. Only difference, Drake was obsessed with fire and becoming a smith unlike his parents who chose to be regular farmers. As a result, Drake spent an excessive time with Sunshine the legendary smith, with the hopes of becoming a smith like him. Over time, Drake became quite skilled and learned of his abilities to control fire during an accident with the fire pit, in which fire swarmed the smithy. In a desperate call to action, Drake contained the fire with just his mind saving Sunshine and his older apprentice. The secret of Drake's potential as a Mars Adept was kept secret amongst the three, and Sunshine did his best to train the boy despite his lack of experience and knowledge of psynergy. Unlike some, he was capable of controlling his powers and in fact he was able to use them with great skill and decided to apply his powers into becoming a better smith, with Sunshine's guidance and Drake's natural affinity for his powers and quick learning mind. However one day when searching for ores and magic items to imbue his latest project, Drake's abilities grew out of hand and he seriously hurt one of his closet friends while trying to fend off rabid monsters. Realizing that his phenomenal powers had become dangerous for all of Yallam and its people, Drake's parents paid for a ship to send him to Tobi using the money Drake had gathered over his time working with Sunshine, upon hearing of the Adept training group that Tobi had revealed. As a parting gift, Sunshine handed Drake the sword he was working on, now complete with magic and a near unbreakable materials. Sunshine stated, "For keeping the place from burning to the ground," as Drake had boarded the small trading ship that had passed through the region. (Apparently the traders were greedy and demanded pay).

Drake arrived in Tobi at the age of 14 after a long and boring sail, and began learning the ways of the Mars Adept with great speed and determination. Due to his great potential and effective control, Drake became one of the prime examples a Mars Adept could become, blowing most of the competition right of the water. His status as a star pupil began to be recognized and granted him popularity that he had never seen before. Drake's reputation grew widespread due his combination of brilliant control of both his fire psynergy and his blade, leading to his development of a near perfect warrior. However, he became known for his lack of finesse in every category other than raw combat, including outside uses of psynergy and his aloof attitude towards effective knowledge such as Math. His training had recently come to a close after many of the teachers had given up trying to teach him the widespread uses of psynergy. (This is where my character could join Lance and become a true member of the League).

Weapons: The Infernus, as Drake named his custom sword, was his master creation in which drew and came with the designs and Sunshine built as a gift. With a royal hilt design containing a red grip and golden, jeweled hand guard, the sliver blade is fairly long to the point of being over sized. The magic contents make the blade burn brightly and can convert Drake's psynergy into its unleash dubbed the "Flaming Torment" a series of fire induced sword slashes. (The image can give an idea of how the blade looks.)

    Sword_of_Seals.PNG

(This is a second one used in special situations) The Sun Spear was Drake's second weapon developed during his time training in Tobi to be used anytime he chose to battle with his animal companion. The spear is fairly standard and uniform in design with a iron rod holding up a sliver blade at the top. Other than than the clean, streamlined appearance, the spear proves to be less opulent than the Infernus. The weapon's magic properties allow the spear to be exceptionally sturdy and it is capable of unleashing the magic of "Fire Drill", a simplistic flaming lunge that ignites any object on contact. The weapon is held by Epyon, his animal partner and tends to be only used when they are linked in battles particularly if Drake is riding Epyon. As a result, the weapon is rarely used and proves to be weaker then Drake's Infernus.

    iron_spear.png

Utility Psynergy: Blaze, Move, Force, Burst, Pound

Animal Adept Partner: Epyon- a Friesian horse that is of the Mars element. Epyon was the first object Drake actually bought upon his arrival in Tobi. A horse breeder was selling horses at discount prices due to an unexpected pregnancy of his prized horse. Realizing a small baby horse would possibly give him something to do and take care of, ridding himself of the stress of moving, Drake bought the horse after selling most of his past projects as a smith. Epyon is an impressive horse, standing at about 5"6 from ground to shoulder. Well groomed and owning a shining black coat and fairly long mane, Epyon is an elegant example of a war horse. Epyon is usually lightly armored with custom steel plated armor (no magic), granting the mighty horse suitable and effective protection. Using a psynergy link, Drake becomes the equivalent of the Dragoon class series.

Edits: Even though I am accepted already, I felt the need to add some elements to history and personality as well as fix some spelling errors.

  • Kuchiki Byakyuya: I'd have liked for you to include an Animal Partner, since they serve similar functions to the Djinn in the games. However, your signup is Approved. Additionally, if you change your mind about the animal partner, you can always add one during the course of the RP. Also keep in mind that it has only been about 15 years since the lighthouses were lit so your character was alive in the time before. Not sure if that has any particular impact on things, but just an FYI.

Altin: Sorry to say, but your signup needs a lot of work. Most importantly, your character is from Vale, and yet his parents were unaware of his being an Adept (pretty much EVERYONE in Vale is an Adept)--they wouldn't have been afraid of him. Secondly, just because families have another kid doesn't exactly mean that they forget about all their previous ones. That, and much more of your "History" section seems very...unrealistic. I know this is a fantasy world, but let's keep something of human nature believable. Additionally, the Cloud Brand has an origin: it was revered by the people of Izumo and protected by the Serpent; it would be nice if you could explain how your character received this weapon (since it was obtained by the characters in the games). Finally, your animal partner is generally the same allignment as you (in your case, mercury), and aside from psynergy, has no really outstanding capabilities (hence, no ability to grow really big). Until you fix these things, you're Denied.

  • Okay, so...we need ? people before we start; I was thinking we could start out, and as in the game, add someone after...since there is an OOC thread where the person(s) can put their sign-up and not disturb our RPing.

  • OOOOH! I remember Golden Sun soooo welll... It's etched into my brain... Whoops hahaha... i'll get started now... XD I'll be a female this time...

    Name: Sanae Fanelia
    Age: 20
    Gender: Female
    Alignment: Mars
    Fighting Style: Mage
    Home Town: Vale
    Physical Description:
Sanae stands at a height of 5 feet and 2 inches making her fairly shorter than average. As a Mars Adept, it's natural to have red hair or anything along that line but Sanae is different and that her hair color is pale blue. Her eyes are a red amber hue which really doesn't match well with her waist-length, pale blue hair. Her casual and battle attire consists of a white long-sleeved shirt with a black dress and a snow white cape with a hood on it. She also wears a pair of white boots and wears her hair in a single ponytail. Sanae is naturally active as well as athletic so her physical self is more fit than other women. Sanae also carries her father's special blade.

    Personality Profile:
Sanae is surprisingly an audacious girl. She likes to travel around and doesn't mind if she breaks a sweat. Sanae isn't afraid to speak her mind too especially when she has interesting ideas or the need to scold someone for their inhumane behaviors. (Yeah... be expecting of this... hahaha.. I won't curse or anything of course... XD ) Despite being an unusual girl, Sanae is also a kind and caring friend. She won't hesitate to help someone whenever she can especially those unable to help themselves. She is always training herself to better improve her skills in handling the different Pysnergy skills and she is very knowledgeable when it comes to Mars Psynergies. (I think Mars sounds better than Fire... hahaha... but that's just me.)

    Brief Personal Background:
Sanae's father, Rath Fanelia, was an adventurer and he visited almost all of the different lands on Weyard with the exception of a few. (He lacked a Lemurian ship so... yeah...) Though being a Venus Adept, he has the strange notion for sea travel and is able to man a ship very well provided he has enough shipmates with him. But after a few years traveling he settled down in the newly constructed town of Vale, home of the Adepts. There he met a Mars Adept, Sana Astrul. They wed, had a child, and named her Sanae Fanelia after her father. And thus the existence called Sanae Fanelia was brought into the world.

Sanae was an odd child. She was able to manifest her Adept powers at the age of 3 without her knowing it and wasn't able to do it again until the age of 7. The boys would tease her about that making her furious much of the time. Later on through her teen years she gradually perfected her powers but was still a long ways to go. Around the village, she would give a hard time to the village boys and even fought with them just to prove her psynergy skills but she wasn't as powerful in physical strength as opposed to the boys. Sanae also had a knack of sneaking around without others noticing. With the handy skill in hand, she would venture out of the village but not too far just to fight against small Bats that roamed the area. Her notable favorite skills at her level are Fume and Beam with Flare Wall following behind them. Her father would usually find her before the second battle just to carry her back into the village, and they would occasionally be ambushed by a few Wolves but Rath would easily dispatch them with a simple Mother Gaia psynergy attack. Sanae would often complain about not being able to visit other continents but her father's comment was only that until her eighteenth birthday would he be able to allow her to travel about and so she waited the few years. No sooner did she turn eighteen did she get ready to leave her home of Vale to visit the other prospering lands.

She traveled about the continent of Angara and the northern Gondowan continent and learned that fun and games did not exist in the outside world. People were suffering from opposition of those who were "higher up" and who had wanted to abuse the powers they had started to gain from the broken seal of Alchemy. Unable to watch such undesirable fates the people were going through, Sanae decided to join the League of Adepts lead by the ruler of Tolbi, Iodem, which she had heard so much about during her travels. There she met many Adepts like her and of the other three elements and learned more of Alchemy by the scholar Kraden himself, as well as trained with the legendary Adepts... or so they were to Sanae. Sanae developed powers beyond that of a regular Adept by training there and she was even more resolute than ever to protect the people.

    Weapon(s) + Description:
    cool.jpg
(That'll help a little but I still need to word it... lol...)
Rathialos Fang- (For later use in the RP) This light blade was founded by Sanae's father, Rath Fanelia, thus the initials R. F. are inscribed onto the blade along with some runes. The pommel of the blade has a magical psynergy gem embedded on it that magnifies psynergy skills and the grip is a black coloring thus the two parts make up the hilt of the blade. The blade has jagged designs near the base of the blade and then at about halfway of the blade, it becomes a straight edge to the point of the sword. Though it is a blade, it is highly more effective as a psynergy booster but it can still be used in combat when the necessity calls for it. It's unique Unleash ability is called Fanelia's Grace, which differs according to the wielder and can only be controlled by Mars or Venus Adepts. Multiple pillars of stone form into a sharp-edged like shape and become enveloped in flames and with the command of the blade, assail the enemy. The formation may differ with the user. In Sanae's case, they form a drill-like shape with multiple spikes protruding from them plus they hover above her. (Remember the formations are also enveloped by flame.)

Lunestra's Rod- (For starting...) A rather simple wand-class weapon developed only for Mars Mage-class Adepts. It's rod is made of the spine of a fire dragon and is forged into a wand. The spine follows the wand from the top to the bottom and a claw design at the tip holds a fire ruby orb in place. The wand doesn't produce much striking power but does slightly enhance a Mars Adept's psynergy. Lunestra's Rod's special Unleash skill is called Blue Moon Flame. The skill causes blue flames to form a ring of fire around the foe and blasts heat from under the foe but only within the range of the ring. The wand's Unleash power also fluxuates with the Mars Adept who wields it. (I have so many ideas for weapon Unleashes... but I'm trying to keep it a minimum... hahaha...)

Utility Psynergy: Move, Force, Burst, Carry, Pound
    Animal Adept Partner:
Fatalis- a bunny of the Mars allignment.(Yet to grow of course XD) Fatalis' fur is a crimson red coating, and it has azure blue eyes. The fur actually has a slight imitation of the tips of flames where it curves outwards.

Sanae actually mistook the lone bunny for an enemy on her way to Imil to visit Mercury Lighthouse because of it's strange red coat and struck it with a Fume psynergy attack injuring it greatly. After the attack, she realized what it was and decided to nurse it back to it's full health. She treated the bunny like a baby: feeding it, protecting it, and even giving it a worried shout at any sudden movements that could hurt it more. Before she even knew it, her bond and the bunny's was even stronger than before. After a few weeks together the crimson bunny was finally recovered. Sana was crushed at the fact of leaving it again on its own and she did it while running away with tears running down her face. Little did she know was the fact that the little bunny was chasing after her as well, unwilling to leave her. Sanae broke into tears once more and embraced the bunny. She decided to take the bunny along with her and gave the bunny the name Fatalis. They traveled together to Imil, then southwards, went onboard a vessel crossing over the Karagol Sea, and then to Tolbi. After reaching Tolbi, she learned much about animal partner bonds. When Sanae bonds with Fatalis, she becomes the equivalent of the "Conjurer/War Adept (Mars)" class.

    Edited--
Yay... I'm finally done... And did some minor adjustments to some of the things on the profile.

  • Altin: There are still several glaring inconsistencies and impossibilities in your signup:
    1. Your character's family is "dirt poor". However, Madra is a fairly prosperous city, and after the unsealing of Alchemy, civilization begins to advance towards a point where fewer and fewer people would be "dirt poor".
    2. You still have that "didn't want him so they forgot about him" sort of deal...sorry, people don't work like that. You don't just try to forget about your kid.
    3. At age 5, your character decides to pack up and leave Madra (on the continent of Indra) and go to the Kalay docks (on the continent of Angara). How does a 5 year old manage this? here is a map to demonstrate just how improbable that scenario is.
    4. Your whole portrayal of him joining the league is rather unrealistic. Iodem runs the League, and rules Tolbi, why would he himself go to Imil to recruit people? Additionally, why wouldn't the representative of the League SAY something to Seth instead of just handing him a letter? Finally, Seth joins at 19 is now 20, and in just a year's time of training he's managed to last 45 minutes against Felix...nevermind that 45 minutes of any physical activity is hard enough to do; fighting for 45 minutes straight with just one year of training against a master is just too unbelievable.
    5. You really didn't add/change much for your animal adept partner. You don't list its allignment, or what class it turns Seth into. Additionally, how much help would a baby wolf give? Not much.

  • I've got several issues still with the signup. first, 30 is a bit too old for this RP. Everyone else is in their early 20s, and that age just seems out of place. His history seems very shoddy and sloppy and just quite unbelievable all around. You still have that thing with him fighting felix for 45 minutes...i already explained why that wouldn't do. Also, why would he be fighting felix, why not Piers? As a mercury adept, that just makes more sense. Your animal adept partner is pretty bare bones, too, and is just thrown together. Look at how Got-A-Plan-B and I did our animals, that's the kind of detail I need. (Also, since Beast Tamer is part of those item-derived classes, it's unavailable).

Overall, your signup just lacks coherent detail and flow. The grammar is all over the place, and its a struggle just for me to understand. Denied.

  • Is it too late for me to sign up since all 4 elements have now been taken'?

edit: Well I'll start a sign-up for a second mercury for now cause' I'm bored.

    Name: Inoka Kazu

    Age: 19

    Gender:Male

    Alignment: Mercury

    Fighting Style: Mage

    Home Town: Imil

    Physical Description:
    phantom2.JPG

Kazu is approximately 6 feet, 1 inch tall. He is fairly thin and has very pale skin. His hair is snow-white in colour, and drapes over one side of his face. His eyes are a deep and dark shade of violet. He wears a tight, blue, sleeveless shirt, blue jeans which are held on by a a black belt. Bandages aer wrapped loosely around his left shoulder and arms; and hang down to about his knees. Kazu wears light, steel-toed boots.

Personality Profile: Kazu is a very quiet, but determined adept. Kazu is very loyal to any friend whom he may have - however he is lacking in the communication department. He is very shy around people he may not know, and sometimes even to his own friends. Kazu prefers to work independently but can still work with others at the sametime. Kazu is very peaceful and does not like to fight and spends most of his time protecting his allies rather than attacking his enemies.

Brief Personal Background: Kazu grey up in the town of Imil in the north. Ever since a young age, Kazu loved to go to the librairies and read texts on anything he could find about the Mercury Lighthouse and psynergy. He had made frequent visits to the lighthouse and spent most of his time studying there. Kazu grew up to not believe in fighting, and always wished to preserve peace. Kazu had always admired the stories of Mia and how she always took care of the townsfolk in Imil and also how she would guard the lighthouse with her life. During his study times, kazu would take the odd break, and try to utilize any psynergy. After many years of being unsuccessful, he decided to climb to try to climb to the top of the lighthouse. However he was incapable of getting past one of the earliest rooms that he saw. When he was on his way out, he had seen a blue-haired girl approaching him from the entrance. She had smiled as she walked by and whispered "If you want to see the top of the lighthouse, just follow me". He knew who it was, and it seemed she knew who he was. After reaching the top, they had both sat atop and looked down at the village as the light behind them seemed to him have a feeling in him he had never experienced before. Mia had smiled and told him that she knew who he was and how hard we worked to become an adept to bring peace and protect these people. She offered him the chance to go with her back to Tolbi to join the "League Of Adepts" so he could become stronger and help protect the people of Imil. He had quickly accepted her offer, and quickly descended the lighthouse to inform his parents and younger sister. They both seemed relunctant for him to leave and asked if he would still be able to carry on his studies and work. Mia assured them both that he would still get to perform his academic studies, but to another level.

A year later, and at the age of 15 Kazu had enetred Tolbi to join. However he was still incredibly young to actually be in the League, and so for 4 years he had done advanced studies with Mia on controlling his new psynergy and working with his pet, Fuber. Now, at the age of 19, Kazu has become a great and sharp mind, and a noble mage. However his actual skills in combat are still lacking, knowing only a few techniques - most of which are defensive.

    Weapon(s) + Description:

Kazu is naturally a mage more than any type of warrior. He prefers not to use any sort of weapon at all and prefers to use psynergy. However he keeps a light-weight scythe with him incase of emergencies to attack or defend with when low on psynergy.

The name of Kazu's scythe is Kandra's Curved Blade, and it's release is "Frozen Death". The release of this is even rarer than Kazu's use of this scythe. However when it is released, it completely freezes the enemies, and beyond just their layer of skin, but also having a minimal affect on the enenmy's nerval and circulatory and muscular systems. This ice is believed to last for a few hours, and allows the enmy to recieve very little damage. This release fits Kazu's personality and morals of not fighting, and is used for a form of proection and stalling.

Utility Psynergy: Avoid, Frost, Parch, Cloak, Halt

Animal Adept Partner: Kazu's partner in crime is a snow eagle named Fuber. It is also aligned with mercury. Fuber is the same as Kazu when it comes to fighting, and rathers not to. Fuber relies on his speed to maneuver aroudn enemy attacks and to help protect allies. However Fuber specializes in scouting regions ahead, summarizing land terrain, spotting out enemies, their numbers and potential abilities. When Fuber is linked with kazu's psynergy, he becomes the equivalent of the Water Monk/Guru class.

Kazu had met Fuber when he was only a toddler living in Imil. He had gone off on a picnic with his family into the forest. Before his family ate Kazu had taken a hike to the base of the mountain range south of the forest. Kazu had climbed a tree and fell asleep on one of the larger branches. He had awoken several moments later only to hear a loud screeching noise. He looked up towards a small outlet on the cliff where an eagle's nest was laid. There were 4 eggs in it, along with their mother and an intruderous animal. The mother eagle had trouble keeping the invader away, and so Kazu had broken off a small twig and threw it towards the animal. When the animal realized it was outnumbered, it had fled. The mother eagle noticed that one of the eggs had just hatched and was eyeing Kazu. The mother looked like it was communicating with the infant and they both nodded and the mother flew over to Kazu with the babyand lowered it into his hands. The mother then flew back to the nest and left Kazu to care for one her babies. Ever since Kazu had been attached to the eagle and named it Fuber. After several years together, they both agreed to never start trouble and to protect the weak and innocent.
