On his way there he was attacked by a scyther, the scyther sliced a deep gash in his chest and above his left eye. Luckily for Zypher his grandfather was on his way to meet him and had his charizard faint the Scyther he then caught it. When Zypher awoke the next day he was laying in a cot his grandfather at his side, Zypher was happy to finally be with his grandfather and was a big surprise when he gave him the scythers pokeball. He explained to Zypher that the pokemon only attacked because it felt threatened and from there on out the two become close friends and teammates.

Personality: Zypher is a very laid back kid, he gets along with almost everyone. He always tries to be in charge of situations and at times can get in a bit of trouble. • Name: Mina Stoker

    Gender: Female.

    Age: 16.

    Occupation: N/A.

Appearance: Mina is quite short for her age, standing in at exactly 5 feet. She has long, chocolate brown hair that goes passed her waist framing her heart shaped face with bright green eyes. Her skin has a hint of a tan in them, though no much. Her body frame, thought small, is fairly muscular and she is for the most part in shape. Mina wears a blue t-shirt with a yellow star in the middle and dark blue jeans with a few rips in them. She also wears black and blue stripped socks with black, running shoes. She wears a black chocker and blue and white stripped sweat band on her left wrist. Mina also has Pokeball earrings in her ears.

History: Mina was born on Three Island. Her mother worked in the local Pokemon Center while her father was a lab assistant and was often away from home for quite a while. For the most part, Team Rocket taking over didn't really affect them because neither of her parents had any Pokemon. But Mina herself had always been worried about them because she wanted to get Pokemon of her own and didn't like the rules that Team Rocket had put up. When business started to get bad for her father, they decided to move to Eterna, where her father would help out a lab owned by Team Galactic. Mina started to bike around on the bike road they had. It was how she came to find her starting Pokemon. After much begging and pleading with her parents, they finally agreed to let her go back to Kanto to start her Pokemon journey. While on the boat to that region, she was having a very strange dream about Raikou...

Personality: MIna is a very determined girl who will do almost anything to get her way. She is very social and likes to make new friends when ever she can. She is also quite easy to trust, a bit too easy her parents and friends say. This has also made her fairly gulible and naive and will believe almost everything that people tell her. Mina can also get very angry if she feels that she has been betrayed or someone hurts her Pokemon. She will also do what she can to do the right thing.

    Chosen Legendary: Raikou

    Pokémon

    Name: Abby
    Species: Gligar
    Gender: Female
    Nature: Jolly
Personality: Abby is a very happy-go-lucky Pokemon who likes to make people happy. She does her best to help out Mina, though sometimes what she does isn't exactly the right thing to do.

Other: Got anything you would like to add? Feel free.

  • Sorry about the wait, i've just been pretty busy lately
but here is my application nevertheless

    Name: Laura Daniels

    Gender: Female

    Age: 14

Appearance: Laura has bright green eyes, straight black hair, reaching down to her waist and very dark skin. Her high cheekbones, broad shoulders and 5'11" stature give her a very animalistic and feral look. She has high set eyes and eyebrows, giving her an inquisitive appearance. You will often see her wearing her favorite simple blue dress and no shoes. She carries a backpack about the size of a very thick textbook to hold anything she finds that she will need.

History: Her parents were part of a very strange cult in Johto. They believed that the "green eyed ones" are people who are cursed by the gods. So when Laura was born, her parents had to make a choice: Either keep her and be shammed by the whole clan, or cast her away. They cared for Laura very much, but didn't want to be shunned. They believed that the protector of the Ilex forest would take care of her. So they wrapped her in a blanket and left her on the shrine in the middle of the forest.
She was not found by and protector of any sort, but an old monk who lived in exile in the forest found her and took her to his home. They led a simple life, not shared by any other people. Meredith grew restless by living there. It is not in her nature to stay in one place, doing the same thing, day after day. So at the age of five she packed up her things, left a note on her bed, and ran. Meredith quickly got lost in the woods and was very scared. Luckily, a pack of Houndour and Houndoom sniffed out her scent and found her. They treated her like one of their own cubs. She made friends with the pack and lived with them peacefully.
The pack, just like her parents cult, had many strange beliefs. For example, they would not eat anything from the forest, they had certain Houndoom go to the outside of the forest and hunt out there. They would abandon a cub if it was deemed "a runt". This was the only part of the lifestyle that Laura did not like. But one day they went too far for her. They were going to abandon a cub because the braces around its feet were too thin. Meredith tried to stop them but they did not want that cub. She got so fed up that she kidnapped the cub and left the pack. She ran for days, trying to find a place to stay but she could not.
She ran so far that she reached the edge of the forest and saw Azalea town. She was then taken in by an elderly couple. She learned how to live like a normal person but again became very restless. Until one day...

Personality: Laura is a very serious person. She can pick up on all sorts of vibes feelings of others around her, making it easy for her to understand what others want and don't wand, and what they like and dislike. She always wants to be going somewhere and becomes agitated quickly when there is nothing to do but idle around all day and do nothing. Laura Is ok with being alone, her whole life has singled her out and she is ok with that

    Chosen Legendary: Azelf
    Pokémon

    Name: Felis
    Species: Houndour
    Gender: Male
    Nature: Modest
Personality: Felis is basically a sunnier version of Laura. He can be serious at times but is very boisterous and energetic and can hardly keep still. He has come to terms with the fact that he was given up as a cub but has forgiven his pack and would like to return someday to show them what he has become.

  • Pokémon – Project Victory
Chapter One - The Chosen Ones
Sign-Ups: Will Now Go In The OOC Thread.

Heroes: Today you will be awoken by a legendary creature which will tell you how you have been chosen by them to become one of the few heroes who will attempt to put a stop to Project Victory and rid the darkness that is shrouding the world, you will then start your adventure, leaving your home and beginning a Journey to collect all the badges and defeat all evil. Rallying together as many Gym Leaders as possible and forming bonds with the most influential of people to aid you in the coming war.

Villians: Today you will open your eyes and find a letter or be told by a fellow member of Team Rocket that you have been chosen by Giovanni to be given a starter, you will then go to Giovanni and he will take you to a store room filled with Pokémon, once there you will be informed of the prophecy, and that you are one of the many Rocket children chosen to hunt down the chosen heroes and eliminate them.

In Character: It was a cold and ghostly empty night, Viridian City was dark and depressing, nobody would dare step out into the once jolly streets which used to shine due to the once bright atmosphere. The city was frozen in a grip of cold icy fear, and nobody dared test Team Rocket by disobeying them and leaving the house after the strict curfew.

Giovanni wanted control, and he stole the Pokémon of the Gym Leaders to keep them under control and to wipe out the defenses of Kanto and Johto, however, he did not need anymore Pokémon, and provided people obeyed his rules which varied from town to city, they could keep their Pokémon in their homes.

Some people thought that maybe they could train their Pokémon in secret, and then attempt to attack the Rocket City of Saffron, but their efforts prooved useless, they gained nothing, and lost everything, their Pokémon, and their life.

With the Gym Leaders in hiding, and the Elite Four refusing to battle for Kanto and Johto, there was no hope for the region, and the only work one could get was joining Team Rocket, but to do this they had to aquire all seven Gym Badges, and with the Pokémon the new Gym Leaders had, it was near impossible.

Michael Smith lay down in his bed, his face titled so he could look out the window and gaze at the twinkling stars, he wondered whether one day, somebody would do something, somebody would help Kanto, somebody would rescue them. He sighed, running his hand over the the soft fur of Aliyah, his Eevee, she purred quietly, snuggling into his chest, and he smiled sweetly. It was reassuring, even with all that was going on, with the world in pure chaos, he still had some form of peace, and happiness, being with Aliyah.

As he slowly began to drift away into a light sleep, he felt his eyes grow heavy, and turned his head so it was no longer tilting but just laying weightlessly on his soft white pillow, he thought about a world, with no Team Rocket, and no Pokémon Battles, a world where there was nothing but peace, and calmness, a world that would never exist.

It was then that somebody had turned a light on, they must have had, because Michael could now feel a soft light burning through his eyelids and reaching his iris, he squinted, even the dimmest of lights seemed powerful now, after lights out, when all the street lamps would be switched off, there was nothing but pure darkness. He opened his eyes steadily, so that they could ajust to the light.

It was then that he noticed, nobody had turned a light on, a light had come to him, "Do not fear me." A creature said merrily, sitting on top of his window sill, its tail, waving from left to right jollily, "I'm here to help you, calm down, I'm not going to hurt you." It said brightly, slowly lifting from the window and levatating, approaching Michael cautiously.

It was a small creature, with bright pink skin and a long pink tail, it had small ears and bright blue eyes, and he found he did not fear the creature, because he knew what it was, it was the legendary creature, Mew.

To Michael, he was raised to see Mew as some sort of angel, and for that reason he was cautious about how he spoke to the creature, Aliyah raised her head, and brightly smiled in sheer delight, she instantly warmed up to Mew, she must have known it was good, "You are Mew? Yeah? Mew, the legendary creature? Like, the strongest creature to ever live...So why are you here?" He asked softly, hoping not to offend the creature.

It glided to his bed, before gently sitting down next to Aliyah, "These are dark times we are in..." It said, with a fememine voice, "And it is my duty to find a trainer, whom I think is pure of heart, and who will fight to rid this world of the darkness that holds it, trembling in its grip of fury and rage."

Michael shuddered, everything sounded so apocolyptic, but he felt his heart warm, as Mew was sitting near him, a legendary creature, and this provided hope, "Me? What can I do? I don't even battle...I'm not a great Pokémon trainer?"

Mew smiled sweetly, "You may not battle, but it is your natural ability to bond with Pokémon which will help you in your quest, there are dark times ahead, and only you and the few chosen by the other creatures, will help light this dark world once again."

Glenn slept facing his face down, having a blanket upon him for warming himself since the basement was pretty cold, things were awful now it was just as good as a blackout, not going out - staying inside the house even that hiding in the basement with the fear of Team-Rocket and their malicious attempt to get take away the pokemon from their trainers and other people's, Glenn was nearly depressed, his heart sank a lot, he never thought that his life would be this miserable -- he had spent most of his life being fragile and never ever did he enjoy himself much, then he got Growlie - his first ever pokemon ; things took time but they both had grown to love each other from their relationship that they shared together ; Glenn thought of this and smiled when he saw Growlie looking at him in his usual puppy eyes, Growlie was watching Glenn and seeing if he was okay, he knew that his master was heartbroken, but what could even he do..? he couldn't do something which was out of his league, he wasn't a strong pokemon either, Growlie himself also wished if thing's were a little more better, Glenn woke up and sat and picked Growlie in his arms and cuddled him thought that both their time was simply getting wasted because of those menancing brutes, he wished he could have done something ; but no can do - he thought.

" Growlie please get me the book, i've read it and had left i halfway." Glenn needed to amuse himself so he asked Growlie to get the book. Growlie did so and got the book for Glenn, Glenn's attempt to muster a praise for Growlie was interrupted when he saw a light emerging from nowhere, Carrick gaped at the sight, his jaw dropped wide open -- he had no idea of what was happening, as soon as the light vanished , Glenn and Growlie saw the mysterious being revealing to be a pokemon it vaguely resembled a Lugia - The lower half of the body was red with jet-plane wings and stubby feet that are similar to ones that a Crobat has the Pokemon also had a blue triangle-shaped ring on it's chest that resembles one of the spots a Togepi and a Togetic have,The upper-half of it's body was white. And it has triangle-shaped ears and a red face with a white pentagon in the middle. It didn't took hard for Glenn to realise that the pokemon was none another than Latias.

"L-L-La-aa-tias..?" Glenn said while trying to muster up more courage to speak, even Growlie didn't bark at her, so it was indeed that it was really Latias! A Legendary pokemon that Glenn had only heard of was right in front of him, he just hoped that he wasn't hallucinating or having a bad dream, since he feared getting his head churned out by only sitting in the basement having done nothing for months, it took some minutes before the Pokemon could actually say anything and when she did she said.

Yes Glenn, it is indeed me, you must be wondering why i am here, the answer to you question is that you are one amongst the chosen one's who must defeat the evil and it's forces to bring back peace which has been hampered by the one's who have been on to their bad schemes lately, yes it is indeed to surprising to you since i have come for nowhere but you should trust me you have no else choice and you are the chosen one, you also relate to be affiliated with me.

Glenn was astonished, annoyed and amused at the same time, he didn't understand a word of what was being said.. though he quickly surfaced from his thoughts and replied.." But why me..? I can't even squat a fly roaming by, i have not yet fought any single trainer, neither i have had the courage to do something till now, how can i be the chosen one you speak about..? ", Glenn said holding Growlie more closer than ever.

Latias smiled and came more nearer to Glenn and said " Don't worry, you don't know what adventure awaits you, you are not the only one there are lot's amongst you who are the chosen one's and with whom you must stop the peril forces at work so that the peak of humanity can be restored once again.

Glenn had now realised that things were for real though it he was being recruited out of the blue, it gave him the surge of feeling that he should say yes, since sitting in the basement with flies roaming around wasn't something great or anything that one would wish for , he looked at Growlie who had the look in the eyes which said " Yes we can do this ", Growlie's motivation gave him more hope and with a final thought Glenn said yes to the Legendary Pokemon who smiled and replied that it was time now for him to be ready for the journey, what adventure and things does Glenn and his Pokemon Growlie await..? Only time will tell.

  • In a small room, inside a local Cinnibar house, there was a boy lying in bed, trying to get some sleep. He turned over onto his side when he heard a faint voice, a deep voice, calling what sounded like his name...

    "Aaron..."

The boy's eyes opened fully. Had he really heard this voice? Or was he still to tired to think straight?

    "Aaron..."

Ok, that was no mistake. He had definately heard a distant voice calling him. He sat up and looked around his room. Nothing. Inferno his Chimchar was lying next to the bed, sound asleep. Apart from that, nothing unusuall. Then he heard the voice, more definate this time. It was a male voice, deep, yet unintimidating...

    "Aaron, open your window..."

At this, Inferno stirred. He stretched out his limbs and yawned, before walking to the window. Weird...

"Hey, what's up little guy?" Aaron asked, walking to the window too. He pulled the curtains back and looked outside, there was nothing at first. Then, he saw a golden shape hoverring above the estate. It came down and landed in the back garden, silent as a feather, of Aaron's aunt and uncle's house. The creature raised it's head to the window of Aaron's bedroom, causing Aaron to drop his jaw...

"Ho-oh?!" he exclaimed quietly. Inferno too seemed to be shocked. Why had Ho-oh come to him?

The legendary bird reached out a little to the open window, "Aaron, come with me. I must tell you something..."

Aaron thought. It didn't really seem risky, but then, how often does a legendary pokemon appear at your home in the middle of the night? Might aswell go along with it...

He climbed out of his window, and slid down one of Ho-oh's wings and sat on it's back. Inferno hopped down and lay against Aaron, also holding on to the great bird.

Ho-oh, without a sound, flapped it's wings and took off into the air. Aaron could see almost all of the Island, it truly was a sight to behold...

Shortly, Ho-oh brought Aaron to the Island's volcano. The bird's presence caused a few of the coals and rocks to heat up and glow a marvelous orange colour...

"Aaron, I shall explain why I am here..." Ho-oh said to him without moving it's mouth, "I have something to ask of you."

Aaron sat on a nearby rock, and Inferno jumped onto his lap, "Me?" he asked.

"Yes. The world is in crisis. Those who seek to destroy the world of pokemon and humans are succeeding, but all hope is not lost," Ho-oh brought it's head down a little closer to Aaron, "We legendary beings are to find noble young trainers who's hearts are pure and rich - a Heart of Gold, so to say. Trainers who can end this crisis and restore peace to this world..."

"Me? Pure of heart? Trainer? But, I'm not..."

"Aaron, you know it yourself, something must be done - and if anyone has the ability, it's you."

Aaron looked at Inferno. He seemed to be taken aback by these statements aswell, however, he gave Aaron a look that said, "Please, can we help!" - a look of expectation.

"...you said there were others?" Aaron asked Ho-oh. The bird nodded.

More than one. If these individuals banded together...

"I can do it." Aaron said to Ho-oh. Inferno smiled.

Ho-oh motioned for the two to climb on his back once more. Aaron and Inferno obliged, and once again, the great bird took off.

Aaron hopped through his bedroom window, followed by Inferno. He turned to face Ho-oh again,

"Thank you, by the way" he said,

"Aaron," Ho-oh replied while flying away, "know that in your times of need, I shall be there to guide you on your path..."

  • Michael felt his heart warm, the fact that Mew spoke of others filled his body with the rare feeling of hope. He was not alone, together other people and himself could band together and save the world, break the chains which bound it from moving, free the world from the grip of Team Rocket.

Mew lifted up, and bowed to Michael who feld proud to have had this creature in his home, "I cannot be with you always, I need to travel the world, doing my best to keep things in balance, we, the legendary creatures, can only tame the force of nature, it is up to you, whom will one day be legendary humans, to fight the wrath of your own people. There will be tough times ahead, blood and death and sorrow await you, but in the end, provided you do not give you, you will win this war."

Michael gulped, he felt his stomach churn with the thought of the quest that awaits him, "But...you said, provided, that means, I won't necceserely win, but you spoke about a prophecy, how does it end?"

Mew smiled sympathetically, "You can win, I can not make promises as to whether you will or not, but you do have the potential to save the world, you just need to focus, be brave, and try your best young one." Thunder could be heard from outside the house and rain began to pour down heavily hitting the rooftops, "I must leave, as you can see, with all the legendary creatures searching for the chosen ones, nothing is keeping nature under control. Trust me young one, and until next time, farewell."

As Mew flew to the window, it turned and smiled, "Know this young one, that in your greatest time of need, I shall be there to guide you through the darkness." The creature then flew out of the window into the pitch black rainy night.

  • Kanto/Pallet Town
    April 2, 1998

Pallet Town, the village town where the shades of your adventure await, was a proud town. It's humble homes, it spiraling hills. The town was very popular with Pokemon Trainers, due to the fact it was the home to the famous, Professor Oak. The vast azure sky above was a beautiful sight indeed, a large orb of flaming gas hung in the bright sky. The sun beated down against the city, several clouds floated above as well.

A beautiful day, the best day one might say to celebrate one's birthday. A tiny boy stood on the roof of a large ranch home, the roof was flat which was a perfect hang-out spot for a six year old boy. The small boy looked out to the beautiful town, his golden amber eyes staring intently at the sight before him. His golden hair shifted in the nice wind that pounded against him, two large Blastoise stood besides him. One belonged to his grandfather's close friend, Edwin, while the other belonged to another one of his grandfather's friends, Iris.

A beautiful day, a perfect day, his birthday. But Damion Sugimori loathed this day, he hated it with all his hearth. He hated it with a passion, for it was the day his mother died and his father ran out on him. So he was left with his grandparents, at their large ranch home in Pallet Town.

"My birthday..." The five-year old Damion muttered out as he looked at the beautiful Pallet Town.

    Kanto/Pallet Town
    April 2, 2008

Pallet Town, the once beautiful town now reduced to ruins. The ruins of a once great village town. The vast plains of green grass now dead, a charred gray-black. The lively trees now cold, barren, and dead. Much like the rest of the town, the homes shattered and reduced to rubble. The yellow dirt roads now just black soot. The spiraling hills, now cold, lifeless bumps pointing to a post-apocalyptic sky. The sky, deep red due to all of the smoking remains of blasted homes. The clouds a charred black, resembling his heart.

A boy stood on the roof of an abondened ranch home, the large estate was nestled in the outskirts of the town, so it didn'ts ustain serious damage. The roof was creaky, but the boy didn't mind. His golden amber eyes looked at his ruined home town. He wore a long-sleeved red shirt with army-green jeans that fit him well, along with blue and white 'Nike' brand shoes. He stood tall, a small blue pokemon clinging onto his shoulder.

The Squirtle looked at his trainer with large, red eyes. Damion looked back, his golden hair staying lifeless. No wind ever came threw these ruins, ever...

"My birthday..." The 15-year old boy muttered as he looked at the ruins.

Viridian City, wasn't much better. But it still had homes that were in-tact, it still had working electricity. It even had life, Damion Sugimori layed on his bed and collected his thoughts on the day. He wore his pajamas, a pair of white shorts and a black muscle shirt. He poked his head up and opened up his glass double doors, he looked out into the city from his room's balcony.

This was Iris Blanche's cabin home, much like his old home. Just a lot smaller, but then again, his grandparent's did get a lot of money. So who can blame the old woman, the boy shrugged off the thought and continued to look out into the city. Squirtle waddles over and leaped onto his trainer's shoulder,

"You know Squirtle, for a new born, you really have energy. Go to sleep." Damion said, but the small water pokemon shook his head and sat down on the balcony's railing. He sighed, the Squirtle had just hatched that same day. He was happy for that, the first good thing that's happened.

EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS A LIE.

Damion's eyes widened, and looked around. He was always one who stuck to facts, he never had any premonition of any kind. But something in his mind, urged him to speak back to that mysterious voice.

"Who are you...?" He mumbled out. He heard a noise in his room, he placed Squirtle on his back before walking in.

    Clank clank clank.

Much like the sounds of chains.

    CHAINS WILL BIND YOU

Damion stopped walking and faced the wall.

    DESTROY WHAT CAME BEFORE

His amber eyes were lifeless. He knew not of what he was doing, nor of who was speaking. He changed into his normal clothes, but put on an additional thing, blue jacket and white scarf.

    BRING FORTH-A TIME OF-OBLITERATION

Damion's eyes turned a violent purple and began to shine with energy.

BE ONE WITH THAT WHICH HOLDS YOU

Damion's violent, purple eyes looked over at the balcony. The curtains began to swivel, and dance as dark mist began to form. On the balcony, now stood a figure. The figure was tall and imposing, he had three fingers on each hand and a large, purple tail. The creature looked back, it spoke threw telekinesis.

His desk lamp turned off, the entire cabin home's electricity was shut down. In fact, the entire city lost all life in those few moments Mewtwo appeared.

"Mewtwo..." Damion mumbled, his eyes returned back to their normal golden, amber color. Mewtwo turned his head and looked back, he floated from his position of looking out into the city and stopped in front of Damion.

    DESTROY WHAT CAME BEFORE.

Damion nodded, "Team Rocket, many have tried. Many have failed, loosing their lives in the process."

    BUT YOU ARE DIFFERENT.

"How so? I'm merely a normal boy, a single pokemon to his name. A new born, not nearly powerful enough to defeat Team Rocket." He said, for some reason. The presence of this legendary being did not bother him, it was rather...calming.

OPEN THE DOORS, RESISTANCE IS NOT NEEDED. HUMANITY WILL NO LONGER BE YOURS BECAUSE-

Damion's eyes burst once more with violent purple energy, his vains shifting and glowing a dark violet.

THE LIFE THAT I ENTRUST MY BIDDING ONTO, MY BEING, INTO A SINGLE-

Two small tendrils slithered down from the lowest dip of his vein, curling together, but facing outward in opposite directions.

    HUMAN MIND, WILL NO LONGER-DIE

Mewtwo held up his arms as he said this, Damion's body floating back to the floor and his eyes returning to their same golden color. His veins returning to normal as well,

"Damion! Are you alright?!" His grandparents and their friends burst through the doors, only to see Mewtwo floating there with his arm on Damion.

"No..." Iris spoke out, with those words, Damion, Mewtwo, and Squirtle vanished.

Amaya lay curled against a tree trunk, Hirei up against her chest. Both were deeply asleep, when a pale blue glow floated just above them. Hirei stirred, twitching her tails. Opening her eyes, she let out a soft yelp of confusion. Amaya stirred reluctantly. The glow intensified, forcing her to open her eyes.

"What are you doing Hirei? It's too early for this..." She trailed off at the sight of the light.

"Relax," A calm, quiet tone resounded in her ears as the radiance formed a dragon. Its lower body was blue with a gray upper body. The wings were similar to a jet plane and small blue-gray arms. On its chest was a blue triangle.

"W-Who are you?" asked the girl, amazed.

It gazed at her with narrow red eyes, "My name is Latios. But now is not the time for pleasantries. This world is falling into ruin. I was one of the many legendary who had to find a child who I believed pure of heart to help put an end to this destruction."

"And you chose..." Amaya was speechless. Absentmindedly, she stroked Hirei's head.

"Yes, I did. Don't worry, you will not be alone. Others will be fighting, and I will help you in dire times. So, what do you say?"

Amaya glanced at Hirei and slowly nodded. "Alright. But what can I do?"

"Find answers and fight for your freedom," The dragon began to disappear. "Who knows? Your ability might be useful." Latios vanished.

Amaya sighed. "Well that was... interesting."

  • "Well, g'bye!" Aaron waved to his Aunt, Uncle and cousins as he left their small Cinnibar Island home. If what Ho-oh said was true, then the best place to start was probably Pallet Town...

On the way to the docks, Aaron walked passed the old Cinnibar Island Gym. He looked at the entrance - the rocks from the volcano had fallen infront of it and wrecked it a little. It had been abandoned for years. Shame...

He also saw someone else at the entrance. It looked like a girl, and her hair really stood out to Aaron. What was she doing there?

"Oh no..." he could hear her say. He decided to go up to her,

"Hey umm..." he began, just as she turned to face him. Aaron paused for a second, then recognised who she was, "wait, you Flannery? From Hoenn's Laveradge Town?" he asked.

"Oh, yeah," she laughed a little, "I was just here to look for Blaine see. D'you..."

"Well if it's Blaine your looking for then sorry, but he's been gone for years..."

Flannery paused, "...oh?" she said quietly, "Well, thanks anyway." She began to walk off.

Aaron was almost about to aswell, and then he thought. Wasn't there supposed to be a load of people hiding in Pallet Town? Also, it would be handy to have a Gym leader tag along with him...

"Wait!" he called to her. She stopped almost immideately and turned, "I kinda know where he might be..."

At this Flannery's face lit up, "Really? Oh if it's any sort of idea then you have to tell me!" she almost ran over to Aaron at this.

"Well, umm..." said Aaron, taken slightly aback at her, "See thing is, I heard he might be at Pallet Town, it's just north of here. And, well, I was just on my way there right now, so..."

Flannery gasped, "Hey, could you go with me? To Pallet?"

"Wha? Umm... sure, why not?" Aaron said, happy a Gym leader was able to accompany him.

"Oh, thankyou thankyou thankyou!" Flannery exclaimed, surprisingly cheerful.

At the docks, Aaron stopped and explained to Flannery, "Carefull, it's Team Rocket who runs things here, just follow me."

Aaron walked through a security gate with two guards (aka, Rockets) and was briefly stopped.

"Got a pokemon on ya kid?" a burly man grunted to him.

Aaron rumaged about and showed Inferno's pokeball, "Yup." he said.

"...can I ask why?" the man said.

Aaron replied, "I'm going to Pewter, y'know, Gym n' all that..."

"... training for a job?" the man asked,

"Yea you could say." said Aaron casually to the man.

The Rocket laughed a little, "K, go on through... what about the girl?"

"Oh, she's with me..." Aaron said.

The man motioned for Flannery to go through, before she and Aaron walked over to a small speedboat. Luckily the keys were still in, and Aaron had already had some training at this sort of stuff.

Aaron slung his supplies in, "You know how to operate one of these?" he asked Flannery,

    "No..." she said,

"Well," Aaron turned on the ignition, "good thing I do." The boat sped off out of the harbour.

"By the way..." Flannery began, "when that guy talked about... jobs, did he mean joining this... Team Rocket?"

    "Yep," Aaron replied,

"Did you really mean it when you said you were going to join them?" she asked, a little more concerned now,

Aaron laughed a little, "Of course not! Now, we should hopefully be in Pallet Town in about twenty minutes..."

"Mom, this is for what's best for me! Why don't you ever support what I want to do in life?" Destiny said with an angry tone.

"I so do support you, Destiny! You're my daughter!" her mother, Valeri yelled back.

"Well, it sure doesn't seem like it!" she replied.

"That's it. Since your father left us I've been causing misery in your life. I'm sorry." Valeri apologized.

"It's okay Mom... But you have to trust me on this one." Destiny forgivingly said. She pulled her hair back behind her ears and looked at Valeri in the eyes.

"I know, you're 17. This will be a great experience for you. Now go! You and that Meditite go beat me some butt!" she yelled as Destiny started packing up her bag.

Destiny went to her room and started looking for things to bring with her. She saw a picture of her and her mom and dad on her dresser. She stared at it for a moment, then put it in the bag. She packed up some clothes and other important things to bring and she was out the door.

"Bye, mom!" she waved as she left her home in Johto.

"They grow up so fast..." she whispered.

"Come out out, Comet!" she said. She tossed her Pokeball out and Comet came out. He started walking with Destiny, quiet as usual.

    Hello, Destiny!

    "Who was that?" she said.

I am connected with your conscience. My friends call me Shaymin, though.

"Shaymin? No way." she said, with a confused look on her face. Apparently Comet had heard the voice too, because he looked confused aswell.

I believe you're off to a Pokemon Adventure, right?

"Yes, that's right." she replied with a smile.

You're going to have to abort that mission.

"No! I went to school for all of this, I learned the technique, I can't quit now!"

Listen. Our lands are in a time of despair. You are the one to stop it. You are one of the few people that are meant to stop this. Team Rocket has gotten way out of hand.

"But... How? Why? Why me? You've got to be kidding!" she twitched.

    Look above you.

"What's up there-" and she looked up. There is a little cloud with what has happened. Gym Leaders, being beaten. Team Rocket taking over everything.

    "Oh..."

You see? If you don't act immediately, this world that was once peaceful will come to an end. Now, Gimme food!

"Well, okay." she goes through her bag and takes out a sweet poffin her mother made her before she left.

    "But where are you?"

One second, I'll fly on down.

Shaymin flies from the sky from the clouds, and stands in front of Destiny.

    "Here you go." Destiny says.

She goes through her orange bag and finds a miniature cooler. She opens it up, and takes out a Poffin. She willingly feeds it to Shaymin.

    Thank you!

    And it flies off.

"So, can you help me save the world?"

No. That is not in the prophecy. You must do it solo - You and your own Pokemon. Now get moving! Team Rocket awaits...

"Well, I guess I have to."

That's the spirit! Now let's go!

ONE SECOND - I ACCIDENTLY POSTED IT. WHEN THIS 'ACCIDENTLY POSTED IT' MESSAGE DISSAPPEARS, I FINISHED IT.

  • Kanto/ROUTE 1
    July 2, 2008

The vibrant sun showered the vast field of dead grass with its bright sun rays, a cloud of dark violet mist began to form behind a rather large tree. Two figures formed, each one with a cold look on their face. One had chilling, golden amber eyes with blonde hair and a white scarf. The other was purple, with three fingers on each hand and a large tail. It floated there, looking down at the boy.

"What exactly is all this? What do I have to do with all this?" Damion looked up at the figure, who looked at the destroyed field then back at Damion.

All THAT YOU KNOW IS A LIE-YOU NO LONGER HAVE CONTROL OVER YOUR OWN HUMANITY-

Damion felt uneasy at those words and folded his arms and looked up coldly at the pokemon, for some strange reason...Damion felt close to the pokemon...like they felt the same thing...loneliness.

I HAVE ENTRUSTED MY BIDDING ONTO YOU-YOU ARE A CHOSEN CHILD-

"Chosen? Chosen for what purpose, exactly? To defeat Team Rocket?" Damion asked calmly.

    YES

Mewtwo had said this rather bluntly, which slightly shocked the boy. How was he supposed to defeat Team Rocket, his grandparents weren't even able to defeat them.

FATE HAS CHOSEN YOU AS ONE OF THE CHOSEN TO OVERTHROW THE ROCKET'S EVIL GRASP ON THIS LAND

Damion stood quiet, ONE of the chosen? There were more? But...maybe if he did well, earn all of the badges, overthrow the Rocket's rule...maybe THEN his father will return. Maybe he'll prove his worth to his father.

YOUR FATHER IS OF NO IMPORTANCE AT THIS MOMENT

Damion's eyes widened and his head shot up, he could read his thoughts. The boy regained his composure and looked up at Mewtwo, his hands shoved in his pockets.

"Well then, where should I start?"

DESTINY LEADS YOU TOWARDS PALLET TOWN

With those words, Mewtwo began to float back slightly and began to vanish.

I WILL RETURN WHEN I AM NEEDED

Mewtwo said coldly before dissapearing, Damion sighed and looked down at his belt. A red and white capsule attatched to his belt, Squirtle was sleeping happily inside. The boy smirked at the sight of the baby pokemon then looked up at the barren field before him,

"My birthday...what a birthday.." The boy chuckled, obviously amused by all of these events. His grandfather had told him about chosen children in his time, but he said they were just stories. So this was all rather familiar to him, but he didn't know the entire story...

"Keretsu, please awaken." The words spoken to him infiltrated his sleep, seeped into his mind and affected the dream he was in.

He was alone. He stood upon a hill, with the night sky looming clearly in the air as a full moon lit the land below. He had pokemon by his side, but no friends, no allies. He was alone. Below him, creatures began to climb the hill, each of them with evil eyes and open jaws with long, serrated teeth. Behind each was a small, almost imperceptible light, something that guided the creatures towards him.

Alone, upon this hill he stood, commanding his pokemon as he would an army, striking down the foes as they approached. But there were too many. For every one that fell, more rose in their place as he tried again, and again to turn back the tide. But they were numerous, and they were powerful, and it was not long before he found himself completely overrun, lost in the darkness.

    "Keretsu, please awaken."

His eyes opened, the vibrant green orbs flickering to the side. His mother stood there, wearing her Rocket uniform, having obviously come right from the field. The boy sat up, reaching absently to the side for his mask, staring at it for a moment before affixing to to his face, letting the hollow sound of filtered air fill his ears. "What is it?" he asked, his voice slightly muffled by the purifier that hid his features.

His mother stood, taking a step backward from the bed. "Giovanni himself has asked for you. I do not know what his intentions are, but it is not wise to keep him waiting any longer than necessary." The young man turned to look at his mother, who had been gracious enough to grant him life. Slowly, he nodded, removing himself from his bed.

He'd been sleeping in his clothes, as another late night spent in the laboratory meant that the precious little sleep he would receive should be as long as possible. Removing and donning clothes, at best, was an additional five minutes of sleep, and as his schedule usually only netted him four or five hours a night, each minute was more than worth it. He had not counted on being woken up, however.

Following his mother, he moved through the twisted corridors of the main base of Team Rocket. He knew each of these turns, and where each of them would go, as was necessary for all recruits. Knowing where to go when the orders were issued was vitally important. This was something that Rocket had learned over their long, though not exactly illustrious career. They needed a system of defense, should someone break through to their hideout.

His thoughts stopped as he paused, with his mother, outside of a rather large door. She conversed a moment with the Rocket member standing outside, a Lieutenant, before he nodded, and opened the door to the room where Giovanni stayed. She gestured him inside, and he realized now that she was not permitted to enter. He was alone.

He stepped through the doorway, his eyes adjusting to the dim lighting rather quickly. It was extremely well-furnished, though he couldn't exactly say he disapproved. Stuffed pokemon mounted the walls, from the classic Stantler to unexpected, and rare, pokemon like Kangaskahn and Dragonite. Team Rocket had done well, since the invention of their secret weapon.

"Come here, Keretsu." The voice was spoken by the large man who sat behind a large desk, seemingly carved from ebony. The young man did so, until he was close enough to see the leader himself. Stiffly, he bowed from the waist, as was customary. "No need for that. I have a task for you."

The words hit Keretsu's ears, and he frowned slightly. Luckily for him, the expression was hidden by his mask. "A task, sir?" he inquired, as he regained his full height. "Something outside of the laboratory?" he ventured a guess, earning a grim smile from the leader of Team Rocket.

"Yes. You see...I have recently been informed of a prophecy. One that could potentially ruin the glory of Team Rocket." Keretsu did not respond, though he was not one for prophecy. "As it reads, several of the legendary creatures have chosen disciples, many like yourself, to rise up and overthrow our glorious organization. As you no doubt have learned about our history, we have had...difficulty with such trainers before."

    Keretsu nodded. He had indeed.

"Because of this," Giovanni continued, "I have decided to give several of the younger, more talented members of our organization a pokemon, and allow them to undertake a journey for themselves. It is the only way to build enough strength to stand against them. So now Keretsu, I ask you," he began as he leaned forward, intertwining his fingers as his chin rested upon them. "Will you do this, for the sake of Team Rocket?"

Keretsu let the silence hang in the air for a moment as he considered the proposal, before he nodded slowly. "Research in the laboratory has grown a tad stale, as of late. I would welcome the change of scenery. I will do all that I can to uphold the glory of Team Rocket," he finished, his tone honest and open; he had nothing to hide.

The man nodded. "Good. Here is a pokemon for you to begin with. I've spoken with many that you work with, and this was chosen based on your preferences. He will serve you well." Keretsu extended a hand, allowing the pokeball to be placed into his palm. "For now, simply grow stronger and gain badges. When the time comes for you to act, or if you require guidance, we will use your Poketch to communicate." Keretsu nodded. "Good. You are dismissed. Make us proud, Keretsu."

The young man bowed once more, before turning and striding from the room. On the outside, his mother waited, worry lining her face. "I will be leaving for some time, mother. I believe I will remain for the night to get an adequate amount of sleep, before packing in the morning."

"Have you been transferred?" she asked, as the two walked back to their area of the dormitories.

Keretsu let out a rare chuckle. "Something like that. I'll explain in the morning."

  • Heroes: Your legendary creature will not speak to you and inform you of important allies waiting in Pallet Town. A base has been formed in the old Labratory. You must head their now.

Villians: Make friends and prepare yourself, for you must now head to Pewter City and hunt down the heroes, whilst collecting the badges, but will witnessing the pure evil of Team Rocket change your views on your team?

In Character: "...Aliyah, what did it mean...chosen? It didn't even explain what I am supposed to do! I suppose that is my first test, in a way...using my initiative, but Giovanni will always be one step ahead of us. He has Rocket Bases in every town other than Pallet and Viridian City. If we are caught trying to accomplish this, this...task...we will be killed."

Aliyah, the small Eevee approached Michael cautiously, purring slightly and whispering her name softly to reassure him that everything will be alright, "Eevee..." She said quietly. Michael smiled, and ran his soft hands over her chocolate brown fur.

He then lifted her up and held her warm in his arms, "What ever happens, Aliyah...you and me will stick together, I promise, I will not let anything touch you, I will not let anything harm you."

A pink light then began to fill his room once more, and a soft fememine voice began to speak, "This is the bond I speak of. The bond that you and your Pokémon share, and the natural ability you possess to make Pokémon feel safe, they feel drawn to you because they can feel the compassion and pure love in your heart. Some Pokémon fear battles and they hide in the darkness, away from anyone who would capture them and make them slaves, which is why they love you, they can see in the way you walk and talk, that you are not one of these people, you are different."

Michael gasped, the last thing he expected was for Mew to appear once more, infact, this is exactly what he wanted, for now he could ask questions, "Mew, first of all, are you a boy? Or a girl, because I don't how to refer to you? And, what do you want us to do? You read out a load of prophecies, told me I was pure of heart and then vanished?"

Mew tilted its head curiously, "You may refer to me as a he or she, whichever you are more comfortable with. It does not concern me, and what I want you to do, is furfill the prophecy, do what you can to help save this world. There is nothing we, as the creatures of legends can do, we are still Pokémon, and with the power those teams possess, they could capture us, and we would become their slaves. If we were captured, nobody could tame Mother Nature, and this world would not only fall into darkness, it would slowly die. We need to keep things in balance child, just as you do, you need to cripple the organization, Team Rocket!"

Michael nodded, he understood, but he was only sixteen, slim but not muscular, and did not fight, the only thing he had was the fact that he was a nice person, but nice would not help him defeat Team Rocket, "I understand, but still, what do I actually do? Like, where do I start? Who do I see?"

Mew began to glow bright pink and slowly fade away, "I must leave, but I can tell you this, a kind lady from Sinnoh is here, not far away. In the now, deceased town of Pallet, she had knowledge of the prophecy and will be able to help you! Go to Pallet, Cynthia will be able to help you." Eventually, Mew had faded from sight, and Michael sat in his dark room with Aliyah, but he knew what to do, it was time to head to Pallet Town.

  • Mina Stoker slept soundly in her bed that was on the boat, her face to the wall. Abby slept on top of her trainer, her wings on either side of the girl. The two were on their way towards the Kanto reigion to start their Pokemon journey. Mina had wanted to be a trainer for nearly all of her life, but her parents had always been hesitant with Team Rocket running the show. So she could never go to the leading professor to get a starting Pokemon. But Abby had helped with that. Ever since Mina found the Gligar laying injuried on the ground the two had been joined by the hip and one was almost never with out the other.

It was then that there came a flash of light underneath the door. Abby stirred a bit but didn't wake up. When the light flashed again, the Gligar opened her eyes a bit. She woke up fully when the light flashed a third time. Abby glided to the door and looked underneath it. Her eyes widen when she saw hooves with yellow stripped furred legs above them. In a blink of an eye the feet jumped and ran away. Acting quickly, Abby flew to Mina and knocked her awake.

"Ah...what is it...?" Mina groaned, sitting up sleeply.

"Gligar! Gligar gli!" Abby said and glided to the door again, pointing underneath it.

"What? Is something outside," Mina asked as she pushed herself off of the bed and walked to the door. Her yellow nightgowan moving around her feet. She opened the door at Abby's gesturing and looked up and down the hallway. "Abby, I don't see any-"

The girl was interrupted when she saw a flash of light up ahead in the hallway. Abby cried out happily and then flew down the hallway. Mina opened her mouth to yell at the Gligar, but then didn't want to disturb everyone sleeping. She cursed under her breath before running after Abby.

"Abby! What are you doing?" Mina whispered harshly. "If the guard catches us..." She didn't want to say what would happen if they were caught after hours.

The light once again came from a flight of stairs that lead down, Abby quickly going down it. Mina did her best to keep up with her Pokemon, lifting her nightgowan up as she went down the stairs. She caught up with the Gligar at the bottom of the stairs, but only because Abby had stopped to look about her. Mina panted to get her breath back and glared at her Pokemon.

"Abby! What are you-" Again, she was interrupted when the light came from behind a door.

"Gli!" Abby cried out and flew to the door, ignoring Mina's telling her not to do it.

They both reached the door and, as ordered by Abby, opened it. The only thing that greeted them was darkness. Mina wanted to leave but Abby went in and the girl followed close by. After they took a few steps inside, there was a gust of wind and the door behind them shut tight. Mina gasped and Abby jumped into her arms. For a while they were surrounded by darkness. Then there was the sound of cracking electricity and a light went on. The girl blinked a few times at the sudden brightness and then gasped as she saw what was in front of her.

It was a large, four legged beast with yellow and black striped fur. It had a kind of stone crest on it's head with purple eyes, puffy cheeks and two long fangs coming out of it's mouth. It had a purple stom-cloud like main coming from the back of it's head and a a very skinny light blue tail with a star on the end. It took a couple steps closer to Mina with it's hooved feet and Mina took a couple steps back.

"Do not be afraid/b]," the large beast growled with a voice of storm. "I am here to help, not hurt you. You have been Chosen for a great destiny."

"Wh-What do you mean?" Mina asked, gripping onto Abby tightly and shaking all over. "A-Aren't you the Legdenary Jhoto dog...Raikou? What do you need of me? I'm just a girl..."

"Yes, I am Raikou," Raikou said, again moving closer to the girl. This time she didn't move back and looked at the large dog like creature. "And though you are a girl, you have great promise. You have a kind heart and the determination to see things through. I know that you will help us and our cause."

"Us? Cause? What are you talking about?" Mina asked.

"You will know in time, you are not alone. There are others like you. Others who will take out Team Rocket and their evil." Raikou growled, lightly rubbing his fluffy cheek against her's. Mina shivered as electricity went through her, but it made her very calm and even a little sleeply.

"I will help you when ever I can, but you have to be strong and brave." Raikou said with a rumbling purr sounding in his throat. "But I know you will be. I have much faith in you." He licked her cheek.

"But...what if I can't?" Mina said, feeling even more sleepy.

"You will. As long as you see herself at the goal, you can do it." Raikou said as she went to sleep. "You have to do it...for all of us."

    -/-/-

Mina groaned and opened her eyes. She was very surprised to see that she was back in her bed. She sat up really quickly, knocking Abby off of her. She hastly apologized to the Gligar when the announcer her said that that they were said that they had reached Pallet Town. Mina put her usual clothes on, her got her pack and ran out to the railing. Mina looked about and then sighed when she saw Pallet town just ahead of them.

"Was...was that real?" Mina asked herself. "Did I really meet Raikou last night? But...I thought he only really showed himself to electric types..."

Then the boat was brought to a stop and Mina made her way off, glad to once again be on land. Abby flew up into the air and cried out happily, making her trainer smile. But the smile went away as she thought about Raikou's words and shook her head.

"Yeah, it had to have been a dream. There's no way that I could even think to help out against Team Rocket's evil. Or, if it was real, then her picked the wrong girl for the job," Mina said, then sighed. "In any case, I've got nothing to do with it. Abby!"

The Gligar came back at the sound of her name and, after landing on Mina's shoulder, the two started to walk into the Pallet Town.
