    I never once suggested they were the same thing. They do, however, end up leading to each other as they correlate. If you don't care what anyone thinks of you so you come off as a prick to everyone you meet, no one's gonna wanna be in any form of relationship with you for very long.

    Another argument can be made that if you're ridiculously narcissistic to the point where you legitimately think you're the greatest person alive, you'll never try to improve on your flaws, as you won't see any - even if you do have them.

    but honestly you can tell someone's a self-centred by looking at the big picture of why they do anything. Someone may be advocating for democratic socialism in a political environment, and that sounds all selfless and great, but it is IN FACT selfish of them as they are doing so purely for their own interest in democratic socialism and NOT in the interest of the group. Apply this to other things they do and if you return more results like this than not, then hello you have a self-centred fuck. 8)
