3rd Generation Duo Run

An Entire New Challenge Completely!

The goal of a Duo run is to complete the entire game with just TWO Pokemon. Both FR/LG and R/S/E Are Allowed!​

You cannot have Two pokemon of the same type. They must be different types completely. Emulators are allowed and you can hack for your first pokemon only. Just update regularily. As Many HM Slaves As You Like :D
Other than that, Have FUN and Update Often! Just complete the sheet below. Team Name is optional but makes it more fun!
In Fr/Lg You Must Beat The Elite Four Twice To Win And In R/S/E You Can Beat The Elite Four Twice But For An Extra Challenge Read Below​

Hey, I just finished a Sableye run on Ruby, so lets start another one!

My reason for this is that Seedot/Nuzleaf/Shiftry learn NO grass moves, only TM'S which are Giga Drain, Solar Beam & Bullet Seed.

Caught a Staryu (Apollo) on Route 101. They're pretty rare there.
Grinded til he learned Water Gun like a big genderless starfish.
"Helped" Wally catch a Ralts (that can't do damage)
Got to Roxanne, who beat me twice in a row with crit Rock Throws
The third time she did not get a crit Rock Throw, and I easily beat her. (Staryu at level 15)
Got Stone Badge finally.
Beat Aqua Grunt saved Peeko, got Great Ball, Package, Pokenav, etc.
Got to Dewford and caught a Lv. 10 Sableye (Nyx) with my new Great Balls.
He was level 14 by the time I got to Brawly
Beat Brawly barely (I almost ran out of attacks) Got Knuckle Badge (Nyx 15, Apollo 15)
Delivered Steven's letter.
Forgot that Nyx can learn Rock Tomb
Wingulls on the beach are suddenly a lot easier to kill.
Skipped the Battle Shack or whatever its called and Healed in Slateport.
Saved and called it a night.

Well, this sounds interesting... I guess I'll join in, I've recently started with playing Emerald again anyways.

Mini update:

Went to Slateport to heal, then decided to beat May. I lost the first time to her stupid Shroomish, but won the second time by giving Sableye a Cheri Berry to hold for when it got paralyzed. Even with this, I barely scraped by with a win (Sableye fainted and Staryu was in red health). I finished the remaining trainers and headed into Mauville. In Mauville, I beat Wally, went back to Slateport to get Harbor Mail so I could get a Coin Case, checked the outrageous prices on the TMs with my Coin Case, and went in Wattson's gym. The trainers were easy, but I lost to Wattson. Frustrated, I stopped playing.

Cool, I will do this, With a.. Swampert and Shedinja, yeah! Team..Team.. Team Domination! Side note, I will be doing this on my Sapphire Cartridge.

I guess I could update now then, So I started with a Mudkip, and I nicknamed him Flippy, and I grinded him ALOT, so he was around level 17 when I took on Roxanne, then I went and caught myself a Nincada, nicknamed his Resistance, Because he will be a Shedinja and having the magical Ability it does, It will resist alot.

So after I ran through the Cave on Dewford Island, I went and Obtained my EXP.Share and gave it to Resistance the Nincada, Because Nincada's are hell when I comes to those first few levels. So, I saved in Slateport PokeCenter after taking out some of the trainers on the Beach, and then turned off the power.

Day #1 Update
-Chose Treeko as my starter Pokémon, and caught a Taillow in Route 104.
-Trained them both to level 15, and challenged Roxanne in the Rustboro Gym.
-Beat Roxanne, and Treeko evolved into Grovyle.
-Travelled to Dewford Town, and got through the Granite Cave without Flash (I couldn't find a HM Slave for it).
-Trained Grovyle to level 20, and Taillow to level 22. Taillow evolved into Swellow.
-Challenged Brawly, and beat the Dewford Gym.
-Travelled to Mauville City, and trained Grovyle to level 28 and Swellow to level 26 in the process.

sorry forgot screenies, next time promise :p

beat roxxane with my lvl 17 trapinch, no biggie. sand attacked nosepass so i could wear him down safely, like i said easy. i get around trapinch's horrible speed with a quick claw, which does work.

im at the fighting gym now, but am grinding my zubat before i face Brawly, promise screenshots of battle!

ps, my trapinch is quiet nature, and will make it a special attack sweeper with earthquake.
my zubat is brave nature and plan on this moveset: poison fang/ double team/ giga drain/ confuse ray. he is going to be my special wear-em-down guy that i use when flygon cannot be used. pm me f i should edit moveset

-Leveled Grovyle and Swellow to level 30
-Defeated Wally and cleared the Mauville Gym
-Recieved Strength and Rock Smash
-Caught a Marill (lv. 12) as HM slave for Strength and Rock Smash
-Challenged the Winstrate family, and won a Macho Brace
-Travelled north to Meteor Falls, and saw how Team Aqua and Magma fought over the Meteorite.
-Grovyle evolved into Sceptile, and Swellow leveled to 35.
-Ended up back in Rustboro City!
