[Discussion] 5th Moveslot: Status only

I fundamentally agree with the majority that a 5th moveslot would be devastating to pokes with limited type coverage issues, among other things with regards to balance. One thought that has occasionally popped in my head is what if the 5th moveslot was exclusively a "status" type move and could only be replaced by another status move. Then the issue of how difficult implementing this mechanic would be, first you'd have to add a way for a 5th move slot then you'd have to somehow lock it to status only moves.
