  • I've never posted here in the art section before, just curious as to what you think of these drawings I made.

    Also, here's a few sprite re-vamps I've done.

I really like the way you shaded both drawings, and I also like your Ninetails.

Do you have any more drawings?

  • They are really goo, the shading is great on both of them, but why not give them your own poses and styles instead of giving them the sugimori poses?

On the other hand the re-vamps are really good =D

  • I'm not quite as skilled when it comes to making up new poses, but I suppose i can give it a shot.
At the moment these are the only drawings I have(can find in my mess of a room) so I'll have to draw some more.
Thanks for the positive feedback though =)

  • You are V E R Y Talented

Your best trait is your shading, it is just excellent, you should really start using colour, that would help you use your skills to their full potential, Using water colours would work really well. When it comes to coming up with new poses, i've always found it a big help to look at several poses, and sort of mix them together, like halfway pose of the other, Do you get me?

  • Excellent drawings - I found no problem with them whatsoever. And I agree: Shading is your best quality in drawings. I only have one picture up, and it's off a stupid Piplup. And, to be honest, Last Raven, I'm not that good with coming up with my very own poses, either.. So don't feel too bad... Hahaha.

Thx Kaiyori, I'll try your advice with making new poses.
as far as color goes....i've never really colored my drawings, I'm just a pencil sketcher lol
I'm afraid if i attempted to color it, i'd only ruin it =/

and thx to you to Mistress Darkrai, I appreciate the compliments =)

Great artwork, especially the shading. Only issue that I see (and as a not-even-nearly-decent "artist," I'm probably off) is Wartortle's head. Looks a little off, can't peg what is exactly wrong with it-- think it's just the shape. In the official pics, it's more of a circle shape.

Yea, good catch, I did actually modify it slightly, but it's because(from the few pictures I've seen anyway) that in the official pictures his head is way to large for his body lol

Great Work, the Ninetales is nice, and the shading is great, but, like my good friend Kaiyori said, Colour would look nice on it.

Thanks, but once again, I just doubt in my ability to keep it's quality while adding color to it.

These look really neat, I will also have to agree with the previous statement about your shading: it's your best. Just as what most of the others had already suggested, coloring these would make them would most likely make these look just as great as they look now. Even though you may have trouble keeping the quality just as it is (as you said above this post) it never hurts to play around, get experimental, or practice.

  • Well...in all honesty, I dont have anything to color with right now anyway lol
I lack colored pencils at my house.
The only thing I could do to these pictures is Photoshop the color in.
