It was interesting to see Ash win without losing a single Pokemon, but does that mean we're in for another bunch of Arrogant Ash episodes?

BTW, why didn't Ash break out one of his sooth bells when Buizel was angry and fighting with Pikachu?

Should that occur, that will be shocking. The arrogant Ash episodes normally don't have much foreshadowing to them, if any (has there been any?). We'll see.

And the writers forgot, again?

Good episode overall. Gym Battles are my favorite. Ice Fang was disappointing, why not just give it ice beam if you are going to animate it like that.

Ice Aqua Jet has to be one of the best moves there is :)

Agreed! Floatzel should've just bit on the foe like the other fang-based moves, and then have the victim freeze or something!

Agreed. I really wouldn't want to see lasers shooting from teeth everytime they decide to use this move.

I was.

I had no idea how Ice Fang was supposed to be animated, but I always imagined it like the user bit the other Pokémon and blasted an Ice Beam or something into the wound... F/

As for the Soothe Bells question, I don't think Ash even remembered his Soothe Bell. (I think he gave it to someone else in the tag-battle episode, too.)
