I warn you, this is a big post. But if you think this post is big, then you gotta see the music one I made at SPPf
Video games from NES (Nintendo Entertainment System)
We have about 37 games in our collection. Most of them came from people we knew though. But still, our collection is massive!
The Simpsons - Bart vs the Space Aliens - this game IMO was the best Simpson's game ever. Probably because the memories are better than the game itself.
Baseball - This was the first baseball game we owned AND that I played. I personally thought some things were annoying but it was overall pretty good.
Bases Loaded - My oldest sister really loved that game. She played baseball and it was the second baseball game we had on NES I liked this game too and played it after I got used to baseball videogames.
Tiny Toon Adventures - I really liked this game and it's really memorable.
The Little Mermaid - This was my favorite game when I first became a gamer. It was easy, fun and more of a bishoujo game. I even bought an Ariel doll not long after and would always play it with her.
Excitebike - this was IMO one of the coolest racing games because you could customize your own courses and do wheelies. (I never saved my custom tracks though)
Gauntlet II - I really liked playing this game as a kid even though I had no idea what the storyline was. I just liked walking around labyrinths and kicking butt.
Zelda (the original) - I didn't play this game for the longest time because the cartridge broke. Finally my sister kinda dissected the cartridge, removed the game and placed the game in another cartridge. Finally I was able to play this game but you couldn't save anymore. And yes, we have the Gold cartridge too.
Doctor Mario - My sister was addicted hopelessly to this game but I didn't see what was in it other than another Tetris-like game.
Tetris - Everyone but me liked the game... but now I like the game but I only play it on gameboy or computer now
Monopoly - hey, if you dont have any friends to play with, this game is perfect. I didn't play it even during my Monopoly addiction
Jaws - This was my mom's game and basically the only game she would play until we purchased another game much later on a different console. I found it fun to shoot the fish but after a while it just got tedious.
Mario Bros 1 - This was my Mario game. I used to play it tons but never got too far.
Mario Bros 2 - My mom played this game, usually as the princess as it was one of those games where you could select the character. I thought it was boring except some of the courses were interesting and those jumping beans fascinated me. And that's where I learned what a jumping bean was.
Mario Bros 3 - This game was my two sisters' game. Only my oldest sister was a true master at it and could beat it within a day. I think it's the coolest mario game because I have so many memories watching my sisters play it. And the graphics bring back memories.... and were quite eye candy from the other Nintendo graphics.
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! - What massive Nintendo collection would be complete without this famous game. This was my oldest sister's game. I played it too.... or more like tried to play it. I couldn't beat up ONE PERSON!
Sesame Street 123 - Why did we even OWN this game in the first place?...... oh wait, this was from one of the collections someone gave to us. Figures
Ninja Gaiden - I vaguely remember playing this game....
Donkey Kong - Come on! Who didn't have this game?
Ninja Turtles - The Arcade Game - I played this game mostly with one of my boy neighbors. Other than that I didn't really play it.
Rad Racer - I HATED THAT GAME! It was so gaddam tough I couldn't get past track 1 I was even a GOOD racer then.
Top Gun - this cartridge currently resides our Zelda game.... TG itself was meh. I could never land the plane properly though
Vegas Dream - My sister played this game, not me.
Kung Fu - I played this game occasionally
King of the Beach - I learned what volleyball was in this game
Games that I forgot we owned (and that I most likely never played)
City Connection
Captain Skyhawk
Final Fantasy (I never even knew we HAD a Final Fantasy game)
The Addams Family - Fester's Quest O_O why?
Paperboy
Qbert
Dick Tracy
Bill And Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure - XD I already didn't wanna play it
Back To The Future (I never even knew there WAS a game)
Gauntlet - Just found it today, when I was getting ready to write this list.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? - Look at Final Fantasy and BttF
Adventures of Dino Riki - the only thing I noticed about this game was the kid on the cartridge looked kinda animeish
The Gameboy/GBC Games I have are
Game & Watch Gallery 3 - the first gameboy game I ever owned. I got this not long before I got....
Pokemon Yellow - the very first Pokemon game I received. I got it on Christmas btw. For the longest time, I couldn't get past Brock because of my stupid Pikachu. The day I beat him was the happiest PokeDay in elementary life.
Zelda - Link's Awakening - a late Christmas present. I told my mom that I desperately wanted a Zelda Gameboy game so she got me one. To this day I've only gotten to the third temple's boss. -_-
Pokemon Blue - it was the second videogame I got. I dont remember much though, except since I had a gameboy color, the graphics were all blue.
Pokemon Red - some kid at school told me there was a game called Pokemon Green. So my mom and I went to the store to get Pokemon green. They didn't have it so my mom and I just assumed the kid had lied. (I found out later it was a Japanese-only game) So since I didn't want to leave the store without a game, my mom got me Red. I remember this because while we were driving home, I was bored and stared at Charizard, only to realize that his body looked like a bottle without the cap. Weird
Tetris and some other game I cant remember - some kid just gave the games to me in class one day. I still play that Tetris sometimes, it's addicting.
Pokemon Gold - I mainly got it because my friend (the same one who I played Ninja Turtles with) bought the Japanese version and chose Totodile as a starter. Whenever I hear Totodile's cry now, I remember us sitting around his house, eating Pokemon cereal and playing with our Pokemon games.... the good old days.
Pokemon Silver - I never did care for this version. Most of the time went towards Gold.
Pokemon Crystal - I got this the day I heard it was in America. I mainly wanted it because there was a cellphone and people called you and because of the female player. My friend and I went to the nearest Target (in New Jersey) and I played the game until these two trainers blocked the way. My friend was mad that she wouldn't get to see what was past the trainers. It turned out that I needed the Togepi egg IIRC
The long gap between Crystal and Ruby
GBA games
Ruby- I mainly bought this game because I got into my cousin's copy. I then vowed to call the trainer he started with "Landon" instead of "Brendan" in honor of my intro to the 3rd generation. To this day I call him Landon unless I want to avoid confusion
Leaf green - I preordered this game and got two special booklets.... unfortunately the pre-ordered games never came so I lost faith in K-mart and went to ToysRus. My leafgreen is now my main Kanto game
Fire red - this is basically the extra copy I use for shiny starter resetting.
Nintendo 64 My favorite 3d system to this date. I even like it better than the DS because it introduced me to serious videogaming and Zelda
Diddy Kong Racing - Great game! I was introduced to Banjo and 3d racing this way. It's a good game where you can use the traditional car, the plain or the hovercraft. There are battlefields too and weapons but they're not randomized, they're acquired by driving through colored balloons. Ironically with Mariokart, instead of slipping on them, you collect bananas.
Mortal Kombat - mainly my oldest sister's game. I got into it the previous summer though
Super Mario 64 - I dont know how I got this but I enjoyed every moment, from the time I developed a phobia for the biting piano in Boo's Mansion to the time I was super afraid of the indoor room in Dire-Dire Docks (I recovered from that phobia though)
Banjo-Kazooie - mainly because Banjo from DKR was in it. It had heavily textured graphics.... even though I kinda prefer the more cel-shaded kind in Mario64. I loved the animal transformations too. Now, I just love Kazooie.
Zelda Ocarina of Time - the first Zelda game I could call my own. I'd explain why I liked this game but it would take up too much space and this post is big as it is.
Pokemon Stadium - I bought it because my friend (the same one who had the Japanese Gold) had the game.
Pokemon Snap - good game, I liked throwing the pesterball at the Pogeys
Hey You Pikachu - I dont remember why I got it but my sister loved talking to Pikachu. My sister is nine years older than me.
Zelda Majora's Mask - this is my favorite Zelda game although Oot has a special place in my heart. I dont wanna explain this game either
just recently I bought two new games for this system
Pokemon Stadium 2 - pwnsome mini-games and you get to battle Clair (but I didn't get to her yet)
MarioKart 64 - I played the game back when I was in second grade and played Mario 64. I wanted to play it again to bring back the memories.
Playstation - I originally wanted this game when I saw my cousin play it. But my mom didn't think I could take care of cds and bought me the Nintendo 64. I'm thankful she did. But I finally got my PS and when I did, I was literally OBSESSIVE about keeping my discs clean to the point where I was too afraid to play a mildly scratched game.
Crash Bandicoot 3 - This game was pwnsome. It came with my system when I first got it and I loved it. My family loved it too, my dad had a file on the game and he NEVER plays videogames, only computergames.
Crash Bandicoot 2 - I enjoyed this game very little. Some of the courses were okay though
Rugrats - it was that game where they have to collect the puzzle pieces. I liked this game because you could pick up items that would normally be just scenery and because the minigames were very cool
Spyro - this drove my family away. My mom and my sister claimed it made them dizzy. I loved it though.
Nintendo DS
Mario 64 DS - first ds game I got
MarioKart DS - almost a year later on Christmas day I got this. Instant addiction
Super Mario bros DS - the game is pretty cool actually. Only certain courses are stupidly tough. I was just emotional cuz I had got my MKDS stolen. But I bought another copy so it's cool now.
That covers all my games.... except for my computer games but I cant even remember half of them so this is the end of the post.
