!!Special Evolutions (**)
: Applin -> Flapple (Sweet Apple) [Sw]
: Applin -> Appletun (Tart Apple) [Sh]
-These stone-like items are version exclusives. They are also (from what we know so far) unique so only 1 apple appears in each game. Fortunately, you can obtain Flapple and Appletun in Raids in Sword and Shield respectively, but only in the post-game (presumably)
: Toxel -> Toxtricity (Lvl 30)
-Toxtricity has 2 forms: Amped (the yellow one) and Low-Key (the purple one). They have the same stats but Amped-Toxtricity gets Shift Gear while Low-Key-Toxtricity gets something worse.
Which one you get depends on the nature that your Toxel has:
Amped requires any of: Hardy, Brave, Adamant, Naughty, Docile, Impish, Lax, Hasty, Jolly, Naive, Rash, Sassy, Quirky
Low-Key requires any of: Lonely, Bold, Relaxed, Timid, Serious, Modest, Mild, Quiet, Bashful, Calm, Gentle, Careful
The nature mints don't actually change your nature, only affecting your stats, so you can't use mints to try to get the other form of Toxtricity
: Sinistea -> Polteageist (Cracked Pot/Chipped Pot)
-There are 2 forms of Sinistea and Polteageist: A cracked version and a chipped version. As far as I'm aware, the chipped version hasn't been seen yet; it's the rarer version. In order to evolve Sinistea to Polteageist you need to use the corresponding item like a stone.
: Milcery -> Alcremie (Hold a Sweet and Spin)
-It is known that Alcremie has about a billion different forms. Getting a specific colour is unknown as of this moment, but there are multiple items that correspond to the different Alcremie accessories. You need Milcery to hold one of these accessories and spin your character, as in rotate the joy stick. Milcery should then proceed to evolve.
: G-Farfetch'd -> Sirfetch'd (Hold Leek and KO 3 Pokemon)
-The "Stick" item has been renamed to "Leek". Get G-Farfetch'd to hold the leek and use it to defeat 3 consecutive pokemon in trainer battles. It can be 3 consecutive pokemon in 1 trainer battle or in multiple trainer battles. There are rebattleable trainers in the postgame and Sirfetch'd is available in raids in the postgame so this pokemon isn't locked out of once you battle all the ordinary trainers.
: G-Yamask -> Runerigus (Go Under a Rock)
-In the Wild Area, in the Dusty Bowl area, there is a specific rock formation, shaped kind of like Stonjourner (an arch shape). There's a snake-like drawing on the rock, kind of like the drawing on Runerigus. With a G-Yamask in your party, just go under the rock arch. It will evolve. The best evolution method.
!!Other Notable Evolutions
: Meltan -> Melmetal
-It still requires 400 Meltan Candy.
: Cosmoem -> Solgaleo
: Cosmoem -> Lunala
-It is currently unknown in which game Cosmoem will evolve into each form.
