I remember youtubing Angel Beats! at Frostweaver's recommendation and immediately falling for the cute anime girls (Tachibana first since she's first to appear in the opening) and then immediately deciding I had to watch the series.

In all honesty I agree. It does defeat the purpose of having an AB! FC if we're not even talking about the series. I shouldn't be talking since I've broken this rule once or twice, but when you belong to the most awesomest FC evar... it's hard not to get carried away. :P

It's a fan club... It's a union of fans... the point is other Angel Beats! fans, not just talking about Angel Beats! If it was the latter, it could've been just another thread in Japanese Entertainment forum instead.

PLUS, there are four possible ways of saying OVA :D

Japanese: Original Video Animation (OVA)
English: Original Animation Video (OAV)
Japanese: Original DVD Animation (ODA)
English: Original Animation DVD (OAD)

The AB! release would officially be called an ODA, but I don't think it matters which one you use :D
