Chapter 7 : I'm on the road to Veilstone City, lala....no?
- Went up on Route 210 and Route 215
- Taught TM66 Payback to Misdreavus.
- While fighting a trainer, Shellos evolved into Gastrodon! All right!
- Taught TM34 Shock Wave to Kirlia...wait...doesn't Zoey's Mismagius know Shock Wave? OH CRAP.
- Reached Veilstone City.
- Went shopping at the Department Store.
- Bought Focus Blast, Thunder and Blizzard.
- Taught Focus Blast to Monferno, Blizzard to Gastrodon and Thunder to Misdreavus.
- Battled trainers in the Veilstone Gym.
- The battle against Leader Maylene is under way!
She starts out with Meditite, I with Misdreavus.
Misdreavus used Psybeam!
Meditite used Rock Tomb, it missed.
Misdreavus used Thunder! Meditite fainted! Misdreavus grew to lv. 30!
Maylene sent out Machoke.
Misdreavus used Psybeam!
Machoke used Rock Tomb!
Misdreavus used Psybeam! Machoke fainted!
Maylene sent out Lucario!
Lucario used Metal Claw.
Misdreavus used Thunder!
Lucario used MC. Misdreavus fainted.
Go! Monferno!
Lucario used Drain Punch.
Monferno used Focus Blast!
Lucario fainted! (wow.) Monferno grew to lv. 29! Learned Torment.
I defeated Maylene and got...the Cobble Badge!
- Had to save crybaby Lucas's Pokédex.

It's been a while but here goes;
-Grinded, which took ages because I've been busy etc.
-Talked to mother in the contest place, and she gave me a Tux, which will go straight to the back of the closet.
-Spoke to Fantina, she spun around a couple of times & then she returned to the gym.
-Beat all the gym trainers.
-Okay, so I fought Fantina 3 times before I beat her on my 4th try; After the 2nd fail, I trained Mankey up to level 28 so he would evolve into Primeape to make things easier.. and then on my third try, still failed. So I decided to buy 5 super potions this time and to use pikachu/charmeleon for the first two of her pokemon (which pikachu easily got beat.. as expected -.-) then for Mismagius *shakes fist* I finally beat it with some of Primeape's "Assurance" attack. :D

• Blew off the whole level thirty thing, and instead went to Pastoria to see how I fared against the loud and rambunctious Craaaaasherrrrrr Waaaaaaaaake.
• Realized that, after running all the way through Crasher's Gym Puzzle without stopping once, I am a lost cause in terms of getting a life. XD
• Challenged Wakey-Wakey.
• Slowking succeeded in bringing down Gyarados, but sadly he was taken out by the Quagsire, so I switched out the fallen Poké for Aron.
• A strategy quickly formed with my buddy Aron. Mud Slap, Mud Slap, and Mud Slap again (to lower Accuracy), then Slam into oblivion. It worked.
• Finally, we were down to Floatzel. Aron got in a few Mud Slaps, but pretty much didn't last too long. All Duskull could do was Disable Floatzel's Brine. And then we came to the hero of this battle...
• Lickitung!
• After realizing that "OMG LICKITUNG HAS SHOCK WAVE", I then commenced to Knock Off the silly Sitrus Berry and Shock Wave Floatzel a few times for the win.
• I actually depended on a strategy this time, which is very unlike me. I guess it's because I'm playing as Conway. C<

Ok, so I didn't played these week, I was too busy for my 18th birthday party and my girlfriend's shopping :D
So here comes the huge update of three days of playing!

~ Arrived in Victory Road. After a long time in the cave, I found the way to get out.
~ Defeated that moron of Ash, and got the access to Elite 4.
~ Buyed a lot of Max Potions, Full Restore, Full Heal, and Revives. I spent all my money T_T
~ Found all the hidden Rare Candies and Vitamins. Thanks Serebii :D
~ Grinded the team at level 60. Must be prepared for a big challenge like this ;)

And... Go!

~ Aaron: His first four Pokèmon were defated so easily by Hitmonlee's Blaze Kick, but
Drapion needed Empoleon's Earthquake and Shadow Claw to get KOed.
~ Bertha: One of the easier Elite 4. All defeated by Empoleon's Surf.
~ Flint: The easiest of them. Empoleon did a great job. Except for Magmortar, he KOed
Empoleon, and he was defeated by Staraptor's Brave Bird.
~ Lucian: Here come the hardest! Skarmory did a great job with Mr. Mime, Espeon and
Alakazam, but Bronzong took him out, then I used Hitmonlee's Blaze Kick
and...goodbye. Heracross took out Gallade easily, with one Night Slash and one
Aerial Ace.
~ Cynthia: The epic battle! Okay, Heracross took Spiritomb out with two Night Slash.
Then, she used Milotic: that was Roserade's time, finally. Toxic helped me a lot.
One Giga Drain and one Return for her. Togekiss and Roserade: Hitmonlee's
big chance! Rock Tomb and Blaze Kick for them. Lucario took Hitmonlee out,
but gets burned by Blaze Kick. Empoleon used Brine, and so he's gone.
Now, the masterpiece: Garchomp! Empoleon used Surf, and leaves him
with like 3 HP, Full Restore, and Dragon Rush took Empoleon out.
Staraptor's Brave Bird nearly took him out, he used Dragon Rush twice and a
Full Restore meanwhile, so Staraptor is gone. I decided to use Roserade.
Toxic, Return and Giga Drain: the PERFECT combo!

WEEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!! (Queen cit. :D)

And so... Barry wins the Pokèmon League!!!

After a bit of restore, he decided to take on the Battle Frontier island!

~ Arrived in Fight Area. Defeated both Flint and Volkner!
~ Trained in Routes 225-230. Obtained the Super Rod.
~ Reached Survival and Resort Areas. Got a house! :D
~ Mt. Stark Quest completed.
~ Full Moon island visited.
~ Pal Park visited: Wobbuffet, 3 Regis and two shits passed! :D
~ Catched all the Roaming Legendaries: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mesprit, Cresselia.
~ Catched Dialga, Palkia, Heatran and Regigigas.

~ Defeated Elite Four second time!

-Kicked things off from Goldenrod City after last time.
-Beat everybody in the underground and on the route north of Goldenrod for training. Earned lots of money!
-Blew it all at the department store.
-Challenged the Gym! Beat the Gym trainers and then it was time to take on probably the most-hated Gym Leader among Pokemon fans.
-It was Grotle vs Clefairy. Clefairy tried to fight with a feeble Double Slap attack while Grotle fired a more powerful Energy Ball. Whitney healed Clefairy a couple times but he eventually went down.
-Miltank. The first time I played Silver, this cow was the bane of my existence. And today I sent Elekid in to take it on with Low Kick. But Low Kick barely did anything, and there was always a Milk Drink waiting to heal Miltank back up. And Stomp took out more than half of Elekid's HP each time. So I changed strategies and switched to Skorupi, who took a Stomp fairly well. I started trying Poison Sting to poison that cow. It used Attract, but after a few turns Skorupi had poisoned Miltank nonetheless. Miltank finished off Skorupi so I switched to Teddiursa. A couple of Headbutts, coupled with the poison soon finished Miltank.
-And after as turbo-sulk from Whitney, I had the Plain Badge! :)
-I decided it was time to introduce Aron, my fifth team member!!!
-I trained Aron up to the standard of the rest of the team.
-Did a bunch of Pokeathlon events. I do this regularly cos every Saturday and Sunday I go and cash in points for cheap Rare Candys at the Athlete Shop.
-Did a Bug Catching contest for no particular reason and came third.
-Battled Sudowoodo and beat more trainers up the route.
-Reached Ecruteak City! Got the Itemfinder, met Bill and entered Burned Tower. And inside is none other than Eusine, Morty and Silver! Time for a battle!
-Skorupi killed Gastly, Elekid killed Zubat, Aron killed Magnemite and then it was Skorupi vs Bayleef. My attacks weren't doing much, and Synthesis wasn't helping either. But Poison Sting eventually poisoned Bayleef. The Synthesis' kept coming, but the poison and a barrage of Pin Missiles from Skorupi eventually took Bayleef down.
-Started the search for Magmar, my sixth and final team member!

Chapter 8 : On the way to FRIGGIN' Pastoria City.
- Went southward on to Route 214.
- Leafeon learned Synthesis while battling a trainer.
- I caught a Staravia to use as a Fly/Defog slave at Valor Lakefront.
- Reached Valor suitethingy, gave suite key to lady and got white flute.
- Battled the trainers in the restaurant.
- Kirlia learned Psychic! Allright!
- Reached Pastoria City, went to the west to get the Dawn Stone for Kirlia.
- Kirlia evolved into Gallade! He also learned Psycho Cut.
- Tried to go into the Gym and OF COURSE, Dawn just needed to come and challenge me.
Dawn begins with Staravia, I with Misdreavus.
Staravia used Double T.
Misdreavus used Thunder, missed.
Misdreavus used Wing Attack.
Misdreavus used Thunder!
Staravia fainted!
Dawn sent out Prinplup. I sent out Leafeon.
Leafeon used Razor Leaf! Prinplup used BubbleBeam.
Leafeon used RL, Prinplup fainted!
Dawn sent out Ponyta. I sent out Gastrodon.
Ponyta used Stomp. Gastrodon used Water Pulse!

- I picked up TM40 Aerial Ace, learned it to Leafeon.
- Battled the trainers to the west of Pastoria.
- Learned TM06 Toxic to Monferno.
- Got the SecretPotion from Cynthia by the way.
- Cleared out the Psyduck.
- Reached Celestic Town, battled grunt and Cyrus. Got HM03 Surf.
- Backtracked to Floarama Town and got TM24 Thunderbolt from behind the Valley Windworks. Learned it to Misdreavus.
- I also went into the Fuego Ironworks to get TM35 Flamethrower. While battling a trainer Monferno evolved into Infernape!
- Taught Flamethrower to Infernape. (of course)

Update #4

So I started off from after the rival battle in Burned Tower last time. Today I get my sixth and final team member, do some training, and challenge the fourth Gym!
-Kicked off inside Burned Tower, after Silver runs off. Headed downstairs to meet the three legendary dogs/cats/hamsters/whatever. They fled, Eusine talked to me, and Morty returned to the Gym.
-But before going there, I did a ton of random battles in the basement. It was good training for my team, and...
-Wild Magmar appeared! I captured it! I now have all six Paul Pokemon that I chose.
-Traded it over to my Diamond version, equipped a Magmariser, and traded it back. Magmar evolved into Magmortar!
-I was thrilled that I had a fully-evolved Pokemon this early in the game, but it was only Lv14. So I grinded around Johto until it was Lv24 with the rest of the team.
-Challenged the Gym!
-Easily brushed aside the random trainers. The battle with Morty began!
-I decided to use this as a test for my newest team member, so it was Magmortar vs Gastly. One Faint Attack took it out. I love Magmortar! Yay!
-Next was Gengar, Morty's trump card. Gengar used Mean Look (pfft, so what?) while Magmortar got serious damage in with Faint Attack. Gengar used Shadow Ball, taking my poor Magmortar to yellow health, but it was too little, too late as another Faint Attack finished off Gengar.
-Next was a Haunter. One Faint Attack took it out too.
-And finally he used his second Haunter. This one was higher-levelled and I was sure I wouldn't be able to OHKO it. And guess what? It used Curse! From half-health, the Faint Attack easily finished it. And I earned, a Fog Badge! And it was a total sweep by Magmortar, my newest team member! :) :)
-Visited the Dance Theatre. A Rocket Grunt was harrassing a Kimono Girl, so he got wiped out by my Elekid. And I got Surf.
-This was when I realised my disasterous team flaw. I had nothing out of my six team members that could Surf. When Aron becomes Aggron, he can learn Surf, but until then (thats not till Lv42!!) I have no surf Pokemon. So for the first time ever, I have to use a HM slave just to Surf. That really sucks.
-I headed out to Mt Mortar and explored the parts I could access. I grinded against wild Pokemon and trainers (got HM04), came out onto the route, grinded against more trainers, and reached Mahogany Town. I headed up and beat all the trainers on the northern route for EXP, and fully explored the Lake of Rage.
-Once my grinding detour was finished, I returned to Ecruteak, and prepared to head off to Olivine and Cianwood, for more Gym battles!

NEXT: I journey to Olivine, explore the Lighthouse, challenge the Cianwood Gym and explore the routes between Cianwood and the Safari Zone! And maybe the Olivine Gym, if I have time.

- Flew to Jubilife and went west from there.

- Grinded a bit outside of Canalave.
- Reached Canalave City
- Ran into Dawn of course.

Dawn starts with Staraptor, I with Gastrodon.
Staraptor used Double Team. I used Blizzard, Staraptor avoided the attack.

She withdrew Staraptor and sent out Roserade. Roserade used Giga Drain. Gastrodon fainted.

Byron starts out with Magneton, I with Gastrodon. Magneton used Metal Sound. Gastrodon used Mud Bomb! Magneton fainred!
Byron sent out Steelix. Gastrodon used Surf! Steelix fainted!
Byron sent out Bastiodon. Gastrodon used Mud Bomb! Bastiodon used Taunt. Gastrodon used Mud Bomb! Bastiodon fainted!
I defeated Byron and got Badge number six... the Mine Badge!!
- Made Gallade learn the Drain Punch TM.
- Got on the boat to Iron Island.
- Teamed up with Riley.
- Battled trainers...walkin' around.
- Battled the Galactic Grunts.
- Met up with Prof. Rowan, Dawn and Lucas at the Canalave Library.
- Went to Lake Valor, battled grunts, defeated Saturn.
- Did same thing at Lake Verity, defeated Mars.
- Went into Mt. Coronet and came out at Route 216 (my favorite route!)
- Reached Snowpoint City.

But it should be pointed out right now that I am most likely not going to update often, due to the simple fact that I am really no fan of the whole updating business . Even so, I do want to be listed as one of the competitors in this challenge (and do that tournament at the end ;D) and I'm dropping in now, so don't boot me off the list for inactivity.

...That said, dang, Fantina is hard.
