So, I never know what is the amount of right cards to put in a deck.

Has anyone made some rating system the functionality of a deck?

Maybe through finding the possible hand combinations that are good out of a total deck to find fluidity, or through giving each card a point based score of each attribute and function, or maybe even something else.

Just want to know before I play around with java to take a crack at it..

Uhh i dont think there is any perfect formula to a deck. Its just really what works for you and the type of deck you are building. There is no perfect deck.

As far as I know there is nothing that does such a thing. This is something I've been thinking about lately. It should be possible to calculate the percentage of having specific cards in your opening hand. Also if some kind of value were assigned to cards that search or draw it could be possible to calculate things even further. It is doable just a lot of math involved.

Also on a side note if one would be able to be able to calculate those odds in their head and be able to count cards during a game it would make the game a bit easier.
