I looked and couldn't find anything about this.. how would I go about adding another mart in the game, then changing the items that you can get there? Is that possible to do with a program, or would I have to hex edit it?

Well, I'm not sure if there is any program that will do this but you can script the pokemart event. What I mean is you can write a script for the pokemart salesman. That way you could put whatever items you want.

@MHERO:
Use Way 2 or 3.
pkmncommunity.com/showthread.php?t=79825

@Quilava's Master:
Shure its easy with APE but i dont I think as only pressing funny buttons are noobish...
Open Your Hack with VBA go to a place where your tiles are.
Than use the "Palette Viewer", you find it in "Extras"
Pick your Palette and klick on the first color and switch the bytes and write it down (example: ABCD = CDAB).
You must do this with alle colors of the palette.
Now open your Rom with a Hex Editor and Search your palette(sometimes there are more than 1 match).
Now you can use APE to get your colors in GBA.APE switch the byts automatic that means you dont have to do it yourself.
When you are done save.
Now Open your Rom again with VBA and look if the palette is now right.

1. Dunno if I can ask questions about Gold and Silver, but what are the hex addresses for the rival traner's starter pokemon?
2. Any script editors for gold and silver? I remember using one a long time ago, but I do not remember the name of it nor can I find it on my computer anymore...

Of course you can ask GSC related questions here, in fact I've got one. Does anybody know here I can find an item list for scripting and a pokemon list for GSC. I want to try and learn to script for GSC. If you don't understand I mean like in FR there are masterball 0x1, ultraball 0x2, greatball 0x3. THanks

Invisible People

Hey guys, uh, I know this probably sounds kinda amateur, but I would like to know the sprite number for an invisible sprite. I did it once, but now I can't do it again. I've been playing around with the numbers but I just can't find it. Please help.

8 questions.

1
Alright, I attempted to edit the tilesets of firered version.

I saved the dib, carefully changed the colour of the tiles I was inserting to match those of the pallette, and inserted them. After loading it back to the ROM, all other pallettes of the tileset were messed up horribly.

How do I fix this? It is important for Pokemon Zelda Version.

2
As well, when I edit the main trainer sprites in OverWorldEditor Rebirth Edition, I change the pallette but it doesn't change in the actual game. How to fix this?

3
Where can I find Sappy, and does it run on Vista?

4
How do I import sprites in RSBall?

5
What is the offset of the MonsterDexData in FireRed?

6
How do I change Pokemon Names and what TMs/HMs they learn? I finally managed to change them (all you do is search for the moves in the order of TMs, never would of guessed that...) but now Bulbasaur can learn Bubblebeam.

7
There are a number of moves missing from PAttEd. How do I change moves in hex?

8
How do I add more/less possible level up moves in PAttEd/Hex?

1.Your Tileset is to big (to much kb), use the unLZ GBA way, because its a very safey way and when you click on "Write to Rom"
Type a new free offset in the image offset box (that takes a few offsets that means dont try to put a tileset between other stuff
when im knowing right the repointing takes 180 offsets or so...)

2.Its possible that APE or your Hex Editor finds more than 1 match, make a back up and try each match, when you found the right match write the offset down!

3.Uh dont know but vista sucks (in my eyes ^^)

4.Import or Replace?

6.Use the Amplifier 06 Ae.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzz..................Huh? What? OH! It's been 2 months since I logged on. So anyway...............

How do I change the battle sprites for FR when you are in a battle?

I put a Rayquaza on the UNLZ gba, and I replaced the Charizard with a Rayquaza, but when I checked the title screen on the rom, it was messed up!

It could be the Reason that your rayquaza is to big (from the file size)
And the Battle Sprites in FR/LG are uncompressed, that means you have to search it with TileMolester/TLP or a other tileviewer.

1. I'm not sure, because that happened to me once and I just decided that I wouldn't use the map.

2. Of course you can as long as you put 0x in front of it. So 0x20A 0x20B 0x20C ... 0x20F, up to F they are all useable.
