So far I've managed to find on Youtube Sun and Moon's new battle music:

Wild battle theme -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeUKN9iaKy4 (Credits to ThePokéMixr92)
    Trainer battle theme - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZs_6KxpFak(Credits to utuber6061)

The wild battle theme gives me gen 4 vibes.
What do u guys think regarding the new themes, comparing to the ones of the previous gens?

Pokemon Sun and Moon Wild Battle Music?

I remember listening to the music and honestly I was very enraged at first. Something about it just didn't really fancy me. But it's been a while and I guess it started to grow on me. What do you guys think?

Eh not a big fan of the wild pokemon battle theme. The trainer battle theme is pretty good. Maybe they'll tweak the themes before the games release.

Thoughts on the S&M wild battle theme.

So I recently listened to a recreation of the wild battle theme in Pokemon Sun and Moon and it immediately reminded me of the wild battle theme from the fourth generation, I'm not sure if this is because I'm kinda bias and I'm really hoping for a gen 4 remake and I'm hearing what I want to hear or if this gives off Sinnoh vibes to anyone else. Here are the two wild battle themes. S&M: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdoJLwR9ems DPPT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9RPgulOxYs

Well, there's a comment on the original ripped from the trailer, highly upvoted and also noting the similarities between the Sinnoh wild battle theme.

I definitely agree though, I never really thought about it until you brought it up but listening to it again I totally hear it. Maybe this is the start of "SINNOH CONFIRMED???" memes now that we got our GSC and RSE remakes. :P

I'm really getting those vibes, too. The soundfont sounds really similar--lots of those Sinnoh pianos. If there are some homages to the Sinnoh Gym Leader/E4 or Champion theme in SM's music, I'd say there's something going on...

I'm not great at music, but i can defiantly hear some similarity :p
I would never have noticed without this though, as I usually play with the sound off.

I could definitely hear similarities to the D/P battle music. If you recall back in Black and White, part of the E4 battle sampled music from Ruby and Sapphire's Elite 4 battle music. If we draw parallels, that means that Sinnoh remakes, provided we ever get them, won't be a thing until the next generation.

Also want to note that the bass in the background reminds me of the bass in the R/S/E trainer battle music.

Personally I got more of a 5th gen impression off it when I first heard it.

Although I get where the 4th gen is coming from after further listens.
