[Other] Best Patches for Pokemon Ruby

Hi there PokeCommunity!:t201-h::t201-i:
I want to start a Rom Hack of Pokemon Ruby and i am looking for some cool/best/must-have patches that i can include into my Hack.

As Blade suggested, the general consensus is to avoid Ruby at least until Pokeruby is done.

If you're sure that you wanna use Ruby though, there's also AtecainCorp's Base which adds usable Pokémon slots to Pokémon Ruby. It was said by certain persons like Jambo51 that it "literally works by magic" and that the method could supposedly break some things even though there was never any specific and detailed information on the matter though, so use it at your own risk. Here it is.
