  • Well, I'll post something to maybe get things flowing?

    Pierce Avril-O'Shea, Pallet Town

The first people Pierce noticed looked pretty similar – the boy he saw was a bit taller but both were pretty short and scrawny, and both had dark hair. He could tell, despite their similarities, they likely weren't related – the two were coming from different directions and were in totally different shapes. The boy looked a bit windswept but no worse for wear, yet the girl (was it a girl? He wasn't totally sure) looked a bit ragged and tired.

"'Sup, dudes?" the boy greeted- wait, dudes? Pierce looked to the side and jumped slightly as he noticed a man standing nearby, next to a table covered in Pokéballs. He chuckled nervously, mentally kicking himself for not noticing, well, one of the very men who would set him off on his journey. His eyes wandered over to Pokéballs. His mind couldn't help but start racing – which one would he hold for as long as he wandered? Providing, of course, the blockades didn't stop him in his tracks… No, that wouldn't happen!

He turned to talk to the boy and the professor again when he noticed an eerie, light-blue gaze on him. The girl (yeah, a girl) was staring at him… in him… beyond him? What on earth was she doing? Pierce stepped closer, glaring back at her. "What?" he asked to no response. "Do you want a staring contest or something?" After a few seconds, impatience won out, and he flicked the girl on the nose. Without waiting for any reaction, he glanced up. The boy was standing nearby, slightly disinterested. The others who were meant to be coming didn't seem to be here yet.

Sorry about being a bit slow

Michelle Shaw, The Road to Pallet.

Michelle glanced at her watch as she ran, she was running late despite leaving so early. She had fallen behind schedule as soon as she left, getting distracted by the sights on the road to Pallet Town. Now the sun was high in the sky and panic had set in. Would they wait for her? Would there still be any pokemon left? Surely there'd be enough for everyone? The young teen struggled to keep pace, weighed down by her heavy backpack.

After what felt like a marathon some building finally came into view. The hamlet that was Pallet Town lay sprawling in front of her, it was hard to imagine this place was where so many trainers had begun their adventures. It felt peaceful, untouched, a place free from the worries of Team Rocket and their horrible Blockades.

The girl pulled off her backpack and retrieved a map. A line drawn in red marker showed exactly where she needed to go and without hesitation the girl jogged into town making all the right turns.

The professor's lab was easy to spot, sitting on top of a hill by the only river in town. It was magnificent, embracing nature the humble building no doubt housed many species of pokemon. Michelle pushed open the grand gates and proceeded up the winding dirt path to the lab at a jog.

Rounding the final turn Michelle spotted a small group of people on the veranda out front. Professor Mahogany and a few kids who were no doubt the other trainers that would be receiving their starter pokemon. As soon as she came around the bend one of the boys noticed her, he waved excitedly so Michelle waved timidly back. Looking closer at the other trainers the young lady took a sharp breath, they were all boys.

The excited one was the tallest of the three while the other two looked quite short, maybe there were younger than her? As she got approached the professor called out.

"Glad you could make it." he said. Beside him was a cart with six pokeballs on it. Michelle sighed deeply, they'd waited for her, yet if their were six pokeballs then she wasn't the last? Stepping up onto the veranda she scanned the other trainers again. The excited boy looked eager to get started and was wriggling in her shoes, one of the other boys was as well.

But the last one? On closer inspection Michelle realized her mistake, though his haircut and clothes were somewhat masculine he was in fact a she. Add her piercing gaze and irritated expression and there was no mistaking her gender.

Finally the time had come, but she had so many questions. Most importantly, what pokemon were inside the six Pokeballs?

Sorry again about being so slow, I'll try to be active but I don't mind if someone exchanges greetings with Michelle if only to speed things up a bit.

  • The red haired boy stepped toward Eve, staring back at her with eyes of daggers. Even with the less than pleased mood his expression was giving off, Eve continued the pale gaze back at him. How did he get his hair so red? That was the reddest hair Eve had ever seen.

"What?" he asked. Eve merely blinked. "Do you want a staring contest or something?" the boy didn't wait long before flicking at Eve's nose. She blinked in reaction, and the sudden feeling on her nose made her sneeze. The red haired boy looked up at the other boy as if taking notice that they were the only three there as of yet.

"What's your name?" Eve asked curiously, but after angering the boy, she didn't expect an answer.

"Glad you could make it," said the professor. Eve turned and observed someone coming up the dirt path. It was a tall girl with slightly tan skin and matching brown hair and eyes. She was jogging as if she were in some kind of hurry. With only three of them there so far, now four, they probably weren't leaving any time soon anyway.

Eve sat on the ground and crossed her legs in a childish way. The sun beat down on her head, the jet black colour of her hair just giving the UV rays an even easier time at overheating her. The stranger who had just arrived didn't have this problem; she wore a large white hat. After what seemed like a very long awkward silence, Eve spoke.

"So, what Pokémon are there?" Her voice sounded quiet and timid. How could she have forgotten to ask the professor this before?
