Skitty looks clean and beautiful... But I always thought of Purugly as dirty, it's dex entry says it shoves pokemon from there home with its bottom... So I just think of it as a dirty, smelly, yucky pokemon.

Well, it reminds me of real life cats, such as the persian. It starts off cute, but some develop an 'ugly' face that looks pretty, like Purugly.
