I'm half-asleep, just came back after a school-forced hiatus, but dang it, I'm ready for a challenge. >:)

Spoiler:

• Started the game for the first time in who knows how long. (lol) Named self Inferno and rival Gary due to lack of creativity.
• Did all the early game stuff, which allowed me to really begin.
• Immediately headed to Route 2 to pick up my first pokemon, Nidoran M (which is going to be my "Slasher" pokemon).
• Took some time to grind my Nidoran up to level 10, since I planned on soloing Brock with it.
• Easily defeated Brock with Nidoran. It was already level 15 by the time I got there, so Double Kick destroyed everything.
• Nidoran evolved into Nidorino shortly after leaving Pewter.
• Bought a Magikarp. (To fit the "Creature of the Night" role as a future Gyarados)
• Grinded Magikarp up to level 15, then went into Mt. Moon and caught a Geodude (To fit the "The Amazing Dying-And-Reborn Guy" role).
• After defeating some Rockets and getting through Mt. Moon, I grinded my pokemon up some more.
• After passing the Nugget Bridge, I obtained a Charmander (To fit the "Trick-or-Treater" role).
• Soon, after passing by Bill's house, Magikarp had finally evolved into Gyarados. I also evolved my Nidorino into Nidoking, but accidentally did it a level later than I should have, so it didn't get to learn Thrash. Oops.
• Cleared the gym with ease. Gyarados soloed.

• Saved for the night.

Update on Diamond: Caught Drilfoon (yay me!) and stood adoring it for a few minutes, switched it to the main Pokemon as made my way to Eterna Forest (had to go back for healing right before entering, then remembered there's both a healing house and Cheryl 30 steps away - FML), went through Eterna Forest and caught Murkrow, trained for a bit wiht Cheryl's heals then realised the exp was god-awful. Went into the old chateu place and got a couple items & caught a ghastly (will come back to this place post-league for Rotom and the rest), made it to Eterna and did the Underground Man's quests, said hi to Gardenia and beat her into the ground (DIE ROSERADE DIE, stupid healer...), with Murkrow and Drifloon, beat that stupidly annoying team Galactic (mwahaha...), went down and annoyed Dawn and got her gifts (always pick the left hand... ;D), went to the cave under cycling road with LG inserted and FINALLY caught a sandshrew after about half an hour >.>, made it to Hearthome City and got the egg (straight in PC), went to the contest hall and laughed at the funny outfits, OHYEAH did I mention I got a berry on the way?, beat Barry without too much difficulty (due to previous bouts of grinding, I get the feeling I'm a tad over-levelled...), then obviously continued to do some more grinding and DRIFLOON EVOLVED :D <3 (Sandshrew evolved too, but really that's just boring, Sandshrew is waaayyyy cooler than Sandslash. :/) Really need an everstone for Piplup, B button is annoying...

-Cross the path to Petalburg City.

-Reach 1st Gym.

-Catch the second monster in my team, the Immortal Nemesis!! (Nincada).

That's all. I just realized how hard is to play all this with a Poochyena. And mostly, win in the first gym.

Welp, time for my first update...

• Named myself Kiro (of course)
• Temporarily picked Mudkip, named it Lolkip.
• Ran around and caught 11 lotads (My "never gonna die" bit) before training one.... All are named Romon Not sure why. XD
• Trained Romon up to level 10 before even considering taking on trainers...
• Caught a Wingull as a future fly slave(Because NOTHING I will own can fly)
• Went and caught a Whismur (Trick or Treater) Marveled at how much of a boss the thing is...

Battled Lenora and won with the help of a few awakenings, god I hate her watchog
Recovered the Dragon Skull from Team Plasma
Caught Nymph the Cottonee and trained her up
Explored Castelia City and saved Biancas munna
Battled burgh and easily won with Valeries air cutter.
Trained in to desert and Valerie evolved
After going through desort resort and arriving at Nimbasa City, I battle N on the ferris wheel
Beat the trainers sorounding Nimbasa
Challenge Elesa and barely won. I had to use amnesia + clam mind combo on Valerie to win. Also Kruger evolved
Met Alder and had a double battle with Cheren

Second Update!!

Spoiler:

-Grinding Nemesis a little.
-In my way to catch the Aqua Grunt, I found the third member of my team:

-Name Abra as Voldemort.
-After that, I enter the cave and stop the Grunt.

-I return the bird to the sailor, then return the goods to the Devon's worker. As a token of gratitude, he took me to the President of the Corp.

-Grab the PokeNav.
-Beat May again.

-Go to see the old sailor.
-At reaching Dewford, I grab the old rod. And after a few tries, this is what I caught:

-Name Tentacool as Kraken.
-I went to the cave for some grinding, and Nemesis almost die there.

-At training at the cave, Werewolf evolved.

-After a few more battles, Voldemort evolved too.

-I decided to move on to the Gym.

-And win my second badge.

-Then I return to the cave, searching for Steven Stone.
-I found him, gave the letter and he left.

In my opinion, both fully evolved Rock/Steel Pokemon (Aggron and Bastiodon) are rather underrated. While they do have two 4x weaknesses, both weaknesses are generally physical. Both Aggron and Bastiodon not only have high Defense stats, but they have Iron Defense to bulk up their Defense furthermore. I've also found that Beryl takes Water attacks without even batting an eye (Bastiodon have higher base Sp. Def. than Aggron). On top of that, Beryl makes a good SR user and can own with stat reducing Rock Tomb and Rock Smash...though Rock Smash will soon be taken out for Gyro Ball so the Iron Ball can be used to its fullest extent.

Gastrodon is another underrated Pokemon, in my opinion. Jing here is the FIRST SHELLOS I EVER CAUGHT (she's my Amazing Dying-and-Reborn Guy; I'm listing them not only in team order but list order), and as you can see, she's still alive today. When not against a Grass type/potential threat, she can own with Surf and Mud Bomb and occasionally Body Slam. And though her defenses aren't as high as Beryl's, she can still take quite a few hits (her high HP also helps). I'll eventually get around to teaching her EQ and something else instead of Flash.

The only flaw here is she can't hit Normal types, but I'm training her to level 41 before evolving her so she can learn Perish Song in place of Confuse Ray. Mean Look + Perish Song + Pain Split to heal HP (she'll probably get Leftovers once I hit Victory Road; I might even give her Protect in place of Shadow Ball so she can solely be a Perish Song killer) = Beware.

Isn't he cute? With Foresight there to negate any positive changes in a foe's Evasion (and, if I'm lucky, I'll use it to my advantage against Cynthia's Spiritomb), Shiloh's pretty good at taking down Pokes he's strong against...so long as they don't kill him first. However, he's surprisingly resilient, even when up against evolved Pokes. I've been tempted to evolve him since he's at that point, but so far I've been pretty good at keeping him cute <3

When not against a Fighting type (or when against one that he can take down in one hit), Neku's pretty good. He's also a good sacrifice for my physical attackers (that is, pretty much everyone but Fia and eventually Morrigan) since he can get at least one Screech in most of the time. Once he evolves, he'll definitely take Night Slash under his wing and be even more badass than before.

Hazers ftw. Morrigan is best at making sure she doesn't have any reduced stats or that her foes don't have any upped stats. At the moment she complements Neku very well (if he's used as a sacrifice), but once she evolves she'll get Nasty Plot and eventually Dark Pulse over Wing Attack and Faint Attack (I'll figure out what to give her in place of Dark Pulse in the meantime) so that bond will be broken.

MVP: ALL OF THEM. I'm serious. Beryl's a stat-reducing tank, Jing's a Special Attacker semi-tank, Fia's a strong Special Attacker (at the moment), Shiloh's great at killing Evasion lovers, Neku's a good sacrifice/speedy Attacker, and Morrigan's a good Attacker/eventual Special Attacker.

Current Location: Iron Island. Just to get some more training in before taking on Byron. I'm only gonna have two primary Pokemon (Jing and Shiloh) to take him on, after all. I mean, I guess I could keep Rock Smash on Beryl a little longer, but I really don't wanna :/

Next update: Too tired to give full details right now, but basically went through the tediously long routes, beat Maylene and helped Dawn, went down to Pastoria after yet more arduous tasks, spend ages in the Great Marsh catching a Croagunk and got Defog, finally got a male one <3, leveled my team up a bit, beat Wake, beat Barry and the Rocket guy, got Surf from the old lady (fog is annoying...) and beat Fantina in Hearthome, surfed over to Canalave and beat Barry again, now training with Riley in Iron Island and will not stop till everything is level 45. Yes, this will take a LONG time, but it's the fastest place to train and it'll prevent having to train more later. This is why training 6 at once sucks, you have to keep them all strong. >.<
