https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsEfBgmTk6w Here this is what i want to do i'm not sure if it's called spriter editing or something else sorry i'm new but i want to play as Cynthia without ar codes and play normally Heartgold version completely as cynthia while walking,surfing,flying e.t.c can someone help me to give me some advice how to start? I have never done it before and nice to meet you :)

https://youtu.be/QBfYdb87ecodude I think this is what your talking about.dont get me wrong,I'm no seasoned Spriter,but that's overworld trainer Sprite editing.just follow the video,look at the suggestions for the full body trainer Sprite.as for the animation,I'll help you with that,or I'll find someone to refer you to.(hopefully)

The video that you provided is for emerald not that changes a lot i think but since consoles change gba>ds maybe it is important please if you know more tell me so i can start :)
