  • Deflect it, Trapinch!
The Ice Beam surges towards Sableye.
    "Trapinch, Gust!" you call.
"Twap!" Trapinch yells and leaps in front of Sableye, blasting a Gust attack from its claws. The Gust hits the Ice Beam, but is too weak to knock it off course, so the Ice Beam continues forward and hits Trapinch. It falls to the ground.
    "Twa..." it groans weakly.
"Thanks Trapinch." you say, returning it. Sableye takes the opportunity to fire a stream of Shadow Balls into Walrein's thick belly, sending it skidding backwards as it takes serious damage.
"Walrein, Rest!" Walrein yawns and falls asleep, beginning to recover health.
"Espeon, attack now!" Espeon fires a Psybeam at Walrein.
"Snore!" Walrein mumbles and blasts soundwaves which deflect Espeon's attack.
"Swellow, charge in with Wing Attack!" Swellow zooms at Walrein. Walrein uses Snore, but Swellow swerves to dodge the soundwaves, and prepares to attack and finish off Walrein.
"Golbat, Air Cutter!" calls Shelley, and her Golbat flies over to defend. Swellow flies higher and Golbat follows it and the two engage in an aerial battle. Golbat nails Swellow with a Toxic while Swellow slams Golbat with a Wing Attack.
You take your attention back to the battle on the ground. Walrein's taken dome serious damage, but it'll be waking up rejuvenated soon... You can attack, but she might still use Sableye to deflect attacks. Or maybe yous hould go for an all-out attack - weak attacks might not finish off the Walrein... What will you do?

    Your Options
    -Sableye, Shadow Ball!
    -Espeon, Psybeam!
    -Espeon, Earthquake!
    -Kirlia, Magical Leaf!
    -Kirlia, Confusion!

  • Uhhh, Earthquake would do the most damage but Sableye might not like the shake, but it may alert others to our location, so...

    Espeon, Earthquake!

Could we return Sableye, use Earthquake and then send it back out.

  • Espeon, use Earthquake!
"Essss!" cries Espeon as it glows. The earth shakes and all the Pokemon, and Shelley stumble. The rocks beneath the battlefield begin to shift, and Walrein falls through. It groans and faints, having finally reached its limit, crashes down to the seafloor with a thud. Both Sableyes stumble but maintain their balance. Kirlia grimaces as it's meditation pose is disturbed. The flying-types didn't even notice - Golbat is currently bombarding Swellow with Air Cutter.
    Shelley returns Walrein.
"It doesn't matter! Your Pokemon are on their last legs! Shadow Ball!" Sableye shoots the attack at Kirlia. It hits before Kirlia can teleport away, and Kirlia collapses, defeated. Golbat flies to Shelley's side and Swellow drops and perches on your head. It's panting heavily, and poisoned.
You have a moment before Shelley declares her next attack. This could be the last opportunity you have to turn the battle around... What will you do?

    Your Options
-Use a Full Heal on Swellow.
    -Use Soda Pop on Swellow.
    -Psybeam Golbat.
    -Earthquake.
    -Revive Swampert.
    -Revive Trapinch.
    -Shadow Ball!
    -Confuse Ray!

  • Revive Swampert!
It's bulky and high leveled, will have enough HP, and Ice Beam can defeat golbat, then It can help Sableye take care of it's doppelganger, along with what swellow can give.

  • Revive Swampert!
You decide that your current lineup doesn't stand much of a chance of winning this fight. Thus, you use your sole Revive to bring back Swampert after its encounter with the jagged rocks.
    ***
Swampert rises slowly from the ground, groaning and clutching its shoulder. It has some obvious injuries despite being revived and definitely won't be at full strength. Shelley smirks.
"You bring back a crippled Pokemon to fight me! What a joke! Air Cutter! Shadow Ball!" The two attacks fly at Swampert.
"Surf!" Swampert glows blue and fires a sphere of water, which erupts into a tidal wave which swallows Shelley's two Pokemon and blasts them backwards into the wall.
"Hmph... I forgot... Swampert's power is boosted from its Torrent abillity. Whatever. It doesn't matter. Toxic!" Golbat flits at the injured Pokemon and bites its arm. Its fangs dig into Swampert's arm, and venom flows down. Swamperts been badly poisoned. "Haha! Not so cocky now!" Swampert responds by blasting an Ice Beam into Golbat's face.
"Gol!" it says surprised. It goes tumbling backwards across the rocks, landing at Shelley's feet with a 'thud'.
"I am soo not losing to you again! Sableye, Shadow Ball!" Shelley's Sableye sends a stream of Shadow Balls at Swampert. Your Sableye leaps in the way and takes the hits to the chest, being pushed back slightly by the force. This continues for several seconds until your Sableye finally collapses to the ground, exhausted.
    "C'mon, Surf!"
"Swaaa!" cries Swampert, using the last of its energy to send one last tidal wave at Shelley and Sableye.
"No..." you hear her say before the wave hits, washing them both of their feet and into the sea. The Grunts gasp. You've won. You grin, triumphantly as Swampert, Swellow and Sableye all collapse out of exhaustion. Several of the Grunts run over to Shelley to see if she's okay. You don't wanna stick around - stay too long and you may be attacked again - but you do wanna heal your team... The Grunts are more concerned over Shelley than you, though that might not last... What will you do?

    Your Options
    -Head inside the base.
-Keep looking for Ace or May.
-Use healing items on the team.
    -Take out the Grunts!
    -Offer Shelley a hand-up.
