Prologue: Personality Quiz
It feels as if you're floating through some sort of strange substance. It has a slimy feel to it, almost alien to your mind, yet it felt insubstantial at the same time, almost as if there was nothing there. You weren't sure of how long you've been floating through this strange space but there was a few things that you were certain of. You couldn't see anything except for darkness and you were floating about in some strange space. 'Is this real or is this just a dream?' You began to wonder. You've had some pretty strange dreams before but this seemed to take the cake so far.
Suddenly a strong voice entered the strange space. You couldn't pinpoint it's exact point of origin. It sounded close and yet distant at the same time. Neither could you pinpoint the voice's gender. For now you decided to regard this foreign entity as an it.
"Welcome! This is the portal that leads to the world of Pokemon! Beyond this gateway, many new adventures and experiences awaits you! Before you depart for adventure you must answer some questions. Answer every question truthfully!"
'Questions? Pokemon? Portal?' You are sure of another as those questions buzzed around your brain. You are now convinced that this was just a dream. Pokemon is just a popular game franchise, nothing more nothing less.
"Now, then.... Let the questioning begin."
'Some questions? I can answer these.' You thought to yourself before the entity began again.
"It's nighttime and you're hurrying to make your way home from a late night of studying at the library. You want to get there as soon as possible so you decide to take a shortcut through some alleyways when you are suddenly surrounded by a group of four shady looking men. They demand that you give them all your money or they'll beat you up. Do you...?"
