Let's go on ahead and add September to our best months ever. Really! It has been <3
It became a month of absolute awesomeness.
It's hard to really compress the whole month of September with one single blog entry. If you read the previous ones, that were written for this month, you can tell what I've been actually doing. Second quarter of uni had ended, and I'm currently on Fall Break. Starting my third quarter on October 5th, so I'm pretty stoked about that.
To summarize the month of September: Galveston. I should probably move there instead.
I dyed my hair for the 394720947032nd time recently. I was gonna wait until my hair would grow a little longer, but brown hair is just…boring for me. I dyed my hair black back in July and now…I'm doing something crazy with it. Going for a half-brown, half-blonde…like this image right here. Really liking how it's been done, and in two more months I'll get to retouch it as my hair grows another two or so inches.
Something I would like to update you from a previous monthly update. I mentioned back then that I'm currently in the talks of taking a road trip to Dallas for a convention at the end of October. I'm glad to say that this is official! And best of all, Roy's planning to go with me, so that way I don't have to go by myself. :D The hotel room has been reserved, and we're gonna be splitting the cost. I bought my badge already, back in June. Roy still needs to buy his, but he might wait until he's at the door. Lastly, my weekend for that has been approved. I'm pretty stoked, actually! This will be my third convention this year, and the third I will be spending with Roy.
September became the month of births. On September 11th, my older sister gave birth to a baby boy named Francisco Jr, named after my brother-in-law. He was a healthy baby boy and right now he is doing extremely well! I'm so happy yet sad at the same time because I won't be able to meet the little guy until I travel to California for Christmas. Hopefully he doesn't look at me as a stranger, though. In other news, Roy's older sister, Kelly, also gave birth this week, a baby girl. At the moment I don't have her name yet, but I've seen pictures on Facebook and she is just beautiful! <3 I'll be able to meet her very soon once Kelly recovers and bonds with her little one. I sent her a little gift too, she absolutely loved it. Congratulations to both of them. <3
At the moment as I'm writing this, drinking coffee at 3 pm and enjoying my leisure time as I don't have to deal with a sea of schoolwork, I look around PC and sometimes…I feel waaaay out of touch. I had this talk the other day with staff. I felt melancholic when I always say I would be active and participate in the stuff I wanted to participate, but sadly real life is starting to become a toll. It's not work, really. It's my irl social life. I'm currently loving it right now. I never really had irl friends who ACTUALLY make plans, so I'm taking the opportunity to enjoy that. I grew up with PC, mentally…and it has become my internet home for the past five years. I've done so much for this community and would love to continue this streak. I have made brief mentions about it with Roy and he doesn't seem to care that I have an online life based on PC. He even thinks that being a forum moderator is pretty cool. So, I'm glad to see he doesn't think I'm some bitch who spends 98% of her life on a Pokemon forum. PC, no matter what, I will always love you, and will continue to try my best to be there for you guys. <3
I still need to get Mario Maker! I haven't been able to get it due to saving money for…better things, so there's that. I really want to build some demonic levels
I think October shall be a good month. Can't wait for a great month with packed weekends, as well as my Dallas road trip, and soooo much more! Spoopy!
