  • Computer Science major here. I'm considering switching to the Math/Computer Science major, which is the same thing but more math. I'll decide in a year or two though, I guess.

I considered a minor, but I'd rather have a wide spread of electives instead of pretty much sticking in the math and arts faculty (since the only real minor I would take is French...), so that's not for me.

  • I'm at college, but what's a major?

I'm just studying a few interediate and higher level subjects they wouldn't let me do in high school because not enough people wanted to take the subject so they just never ran those classes for that year.

Are you at a community college? Because if you're at a four year university, you're required to have a major. A major is a focus for your education. It also dictates what kind of jobs you'll probably get in the future. Some can train you for one type of job. For example, my major is Art Education, and when I graduate I'll be certified to teach art from grades K-12.

I forgot to mention before that my minor is Psychology. ^_^

I don't know what a community college is - maybe its different here. Over here you don't get university-style courses in colleges, unless is a specialised college.

So I'm just at a regular college.

  • I am graduating from College with a Business Information Systems degree.
I am headed to Grad School to attain my masters in Instructional Technology.

If I find a job first, I wanna fix computers, be tech support, help people. As much as people suck and are stupid sometimes, I love fixing there computers.

  • I'm majoring in Chemical Engineering, and planning to minor or even double major in Math. At first, it was kind of boring and a lot of pointless work, but now, we're getting to the good stuff. I don't know what I'm going to do with these in the future though.
