Sadly I can't write it in as an ultimate since Kalos isn't included, I would have to put it as a single for each region. If you do manage to get your hands on a copy of Pokemon X or Pokemon Y I would have no problem trading you a Chikorita for your playthrough though :)

That's a shame. I appreciate the offer. I'll hammer away at these Singles then; by the time I'm through with them I may have a copy of X/Y on hand.

I finally got to updating the OP everyone! There's a lot of information there that you should check out.

Also to all those that are participating in the Ultimate Solo Challenge without either Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, the cut off has passed and your challenges will only be accepted as singles unless you include a game of the Kalos region. I encourage you all to include either X or Y in your challenge, as they are two amazing games.

As of tomorrow I'm free (well, for a week or so then classes start again), but I might also finally get a 3DS and probably Pokémon X tomorrow. I'm not really sure if I'm going to do a regular playthrough first or do a challenge run instead, so for now I'm going to stick with solo runs on earlier gens. I might add another sign-up if I do decide to do a solo run on X.

- Conquered the Sprout Tower.
- Challenged Gym Leader Falkner, burning X Accuracy and X Attack to take down Falkner's Pidgeotto, which finally succumbed to Poison.
- Defeated Gym Leader Falkner, earning the Zephyr Badge.
- Captured HM Slave Sentret.
- Leveled in Union Cave B1F, evolved Chikorita to Bayleef and Sentret to Furret.
- Arrived in Azalea Town.
- Drove Team Rocket out of the Slowpoke Well.
- Challenged Gym Leader Bugsy. Had great difficulty against Bugsy's Scyther, which kept spamming its U-turn. After a number of wipes, got a couple lucky critical Tackles in. Bugsy's Scyther then succumbed to Poison.

It's been a really long time since I've done a solo-run, so I think I'm going to give one a whirl.

-And now I stop posting pictures and being obnoxious and start actually training.
-Caught a Pidgey to use for Fly. Seeking something that can learn Cut still.
-Got through Viridian Forest. Confusion is scary strong. Currently grinding to take on Brock.
-Boulder Badge get! Two-shot both Geodude and Onix with Confusion.
-I hate Sing. On the plus side, Niji just learned Disable and I found TM12 - Water Gun and gave him that, too. Making my way through Mt. Moon.
-Made it through Mt. Moon. That one Rocket with the Raticate? Close call.
-Caught a Bellsprout to use for Cut, finally.
-Cascade Badge get! Two-shot Staryu with Headbutt, Starmie was a bit tougher and took four Headbutts. Also taught TM11 - Bubblebeam to Niji, giving him a halfway-decent Water move.
-Retrieved the stolen TM28 - Dig and taught it to Niji. Battling Lt. Surge is likely still going to be a nightmare regardless. X'D
-Found TM08 - Body Slam on the S.S. Anne. If you guessed that I taught it to Niji, you'd be correct.
-Thunder Badge get! Voltorb and Pikachu were one-shot by Body Slam, for Raichu it was Dig. Dumb AI is dumb for not using Thunderbolt on the first turn with the latter.

And I think I'll leave off there for now~

Lol, I just logged on to PC after ages and saw I needed to update my Solo challenge.

I've been playing, and I've got 3 or 4 badges (I forget), and I've also been using Pearl to send Pokemon over to MPR which I recently got for Christmas.

-I completely forgot to go get the Bike... what is wrong with me. Going to do that now.
-I'll be doing my typical routine of stumbling through Rock Tunnel in the dark, since I never did bother to go get Flash/don't really feel like finding someone that can learn it.
-Literally the first trainer I fought after the Gym, this happened:

-Made it through Rock Tunnel.
-Taught Niji TM29 - Psychic and used the only PP Up I've found so far on it.
-Rainbow Badge get! One-shot literally everything with Psychic.
-Utterly thrashed Team Rocket for the second time and now I'm climbing Pokemon Tower. Heated debate about whether I should catch one of the Snorlax and have it sit in my box for the rest of eternity incoming.
-Poke Flute get!
-Caught a Snorlax after accidentally obliterating it with Psychic the first time around oops
-Navigated through the Safari Zone and got HM03 - Surf, which was promptly taught to Niji.
-Flew back to Celadon to collect TM13 - Ice Beam and teach that to him, too.
-Soul Badge get! Courtesy of Psychic, obviously.
-Thrashed Team Rocket some more. I won't have to deal with them as a whole again, but...
-Also, Master Ball get! A shame I'll probably never use it.
-Even more things I'll never use: Gifts in the form of Lapras and Hitmonchan. At least they're adding to my decidedly laughable amount of Pokemon caught in the Pokedex?
-Marsh Badge get! With a healthy mix of Body Slam, Surf and Psychic (for Venomoth).
-Volcano Badge get! Surf. Lots of Surf. Also Niji can apparently learn Fire Blast... I shouldn't be surprised, at this point.

And I'll leave off there. Will likely go get that last badge + battle the Elite Four tomorrow~
