Gold showed me his Marril again. He was talking about how he beat Youngster Joey a few days ago. What an accomplishment.
His marril jumped with joy.
Some chick came up when I tried to leave, she told me I had to stay home. OR ELSE.
So I talked to my mom who gave the chick an angry email. She didn't look me in the face again. (thx momma!)
Did I mention a Totodile was sniffing my butt the whole time?
As I leave, this soulless ginger pushes me around... Then elm comes out for no reason and blabbers about something in Japanese.

Man, it's been forever since I last posted here. Either way, chalk another victory up for me, cause I finally finished my Black solo challenge with Scolipede. Those Elite Four become extremely tough the second time through. But Alder wasn't really all that bad. Now Marshall and Shauntal were pains in the a-double-s. I barely scraped by them. But that's not important, what's important is what follows:

One: I finished the solo run with Scolipede.
Two: I plan on entirely completing my other three USC's by beating White version with them. Which oughta be real fun. I'll do them in the same order I did all the others; Psycho the Metagross, then Titan the Nidoking, then Katana the Zangoose.

I'll update when I get started, which I expect to be soon. Of course, now that I have a job, it will be hard for me to actually get progress done. But when I can, I'll be updating.

Game: Leaf Green
PKMN: Rattata​

- The Game Begins. Prof. Oak introduces himself, I name myself MJ as a male, and my rival is Iggy.

- I receive a Bulbasaur from Oakster and defeat Iggy and his Charmander.

- Fast forward through the useless information.

- Captured a Lv3 Male Rattata and named him BANJO.

- Trained BANJO to Lv10 and then destroyed Rival Iggy.

- Plowed through Viridian Forest. BANJO the Rattata is now Lv13 and has learned Hyper Fang.

- Lost to CAMPER LIAM in Brock's gym. Time to train.

- The Lv3 PKMN will no longer be efficient in training Rattata. Rematch with Camper Liam will now begin.

- After losing to Camper Liam twice more, he was finally defeated on try three. Looks like the wild PKMN will have to do.

- After slaying a multitude of Caterpies in the forest, BANJO is now Lv15. Will this be enough? No. Brock's Geodude prevailed. And then his Onix the second time. I'm going to be ****ing poor by the end of this.

- More Viridian Forest natives were viciously assaulted to raise BANJO to Lv16. Rematch time.

- Onix destroyed Rattata once more. Back to the Forest. <-- punny.

- BANJO has now slaughtered more Bug PKMN. Officer Jenny's gonna be pissed. On the bright side, Rattata is now Lv17. Rematch #ivelostcount.

- BANJO is finally victorious. Boulder Badge obtained.

Just started my Red version challenge. I started, named myself Elgyem, my rival Hypno (yes, I named him my least favorite Psychic type), sped through the beginning with Zard, my Charmander. I bought some Pokeballs and eventually caught a hacked Electabuzz. Named it Onigiri.

Yes you can,in fact I already have seen a Snorlax and Porygon/2/Z Ultimate Challenge,so i'd say yeah

Game: Leaf Green
PKMN: Rattata​

- We start today with BANJO the Lv17 Rattata.

- BANJO defeats all the trainers leading to Mount Moon.

- We proceed to defeat every trainer in Mount Moon.

- BANJO has now evolved! I guess next update I'll have to use a GIF of a Raticate.

- We destroy Rival Iggy.

- We continue along the Nugget Bridge and following Route, defeating every trainer.

- BANJO & I help out Bill.

- We return to Cerulean to absolutely annihilate Misty & her trainers.

- BANJO the Raticate is now Lv29.

Someone informed me that I can evolve Rattata, so I did. Hope that information is accurate.

Ultimate Solo Challenge: Togetic

Part 1

I started off the game as normal, with the name 'Happy' which I'm going to be using for all of my characters in this challenge. after all, togetic is a joyful little guy.

following this, I named my rival 'Sad' as the obvious opposite to 'Happy', even though his pokemon may not be that sad.
once professor oak had finished his little introduction, I went out of the house and into the grass, for him to then re-appear and drag me into his lab, with my rival also there.
I chose the bulbasaur and named it 'GuineaPig1' as that shall be what I'm going to name all my HM slaves, although this one I'll be using to help togepi a little bit to start off.

it lost in the battle against my rival. ah well. it's just a guinea pig after all.
so, after this, I went out of the lab and went on a trip to viridian city, heading through route 1 with the two most common and repetitive pokemon in this game. eventually, I arrived and couldn't access the forest to get to pewter, so I went to the pokemart to do a favour for professor oak, and return to him the parcel which he so dearly wanted.

in return, I got a pokdex. not to shabby, even though we won't be using it much seen as we're only going to be obtaining data from a couple more pokemon. (including the guinea pigs)

I also received come of these, which would be a great help to catch the togepi we're going to be training up and evolving.
following this, I left the lab and returned back to route 1. now was the time, although you can't get togepi anywhere in kanto, so I relied on my good friend gameshark to hack it in. :D

there it was. it's so cute!
I used my guinea pig to help weaken it down to a reasonable health, and then I threw the poke ball.

yay! and it only took one attempt. :D

here it is, the basic information of our togepi. it's a shame it got THAT ability, seen as for the next few gyms we're going to be relying on metronome...
speaking of metronome, togepi doesn't even know it yet. matter of fact, it didn't know any damage dealing attacks, which is where our guinea pig came to help.

it took a few attempts, but at that point, togepi was ready to fight for itself. unfortunately, it wasn't that good at it.
I passed through viridian forest with togepi at the stage where it was, and training it up was difficult. thanks to hustle, any attacking move which togepi would metronome would miss most of the time. that is, if the attack was actually an attack which dealt direct damage! seriously, I got swallow, snore, dream eater and spit up a few times, was so annoying. -.-
however, togepi did get better as more pokemon were defeated and more bug catchers in the forest were sent away with fainted pokemon, but it was tough, what with all the weedles poisoning togepi.

during our journey through the forest, we obtained this beaut. this makes dealing damage a touch easier, if metronome would bring up ridiculous moves which wouldn't deal damage or cause any effect.
eventually, we arrived at the other side of the forest, and with that, pewter city. still needing some more training, we then healed up and headed back through the forest and to viridian, and then went west to encounter our dearest rival once again.

this time, him and his new pidgey didn't get lucky. it was also cool to metronome transform and turn into charmander right before we finished him off, too!
now that we had taken out pretty much every trainer available in this part of the game except brock, we still needed some more training if we wanted to beat him. so, I trained on various wild pokemon just south of pewter city until togepi reached level 12, which wasn't too bad.
now that we were ready, we headed over to brock, and things were going great. while geodude was out, togepi metronomed ingrain, so it restored a little bit of HP every turn. I wasn't too bothered about switching out at that point anyways. we beat his geodude and togepi levelled up...

...and learnt this! while it can't deal damage, it certainly helped towards dealing with onix, which was also really difficult.
sadly, metronome only has 10 PP, so it ran out shortly after onix switched in and the moves it used were useless. and because ingrain was in effect, togepi couldn't switch out. therefore, there was only one thing to do, burn away all of togepi's other moves' PP, while also making sure onix wouldn't take it down.
the strategy was to use yawn, and then sweet kiss, and charm while it was asleep. hustle made the last two moves even more inaccurate though, which was a real pain. however, thanks to charm being used three times, onix's tackle and bind hardly proved much of a problem, especially considering that ingrain restored the health of the attack straight afterwards.
eventually, togepi's move had no more PP and it struggled away, which worked! we beat brock, and obtained the rock tomb TM!

@ R.K 9 you should have started with Togetic, as Togepi won't evolve until you get the Nat'l Pokedex. You can hack it, but it might screw up the Elite Four...

HOLY BALLS. Training Beldum is HARD in White Version. Either way, I got him to level 15. Somehow. And Cress was also a pain to beat, but I did it. After my first try failed utterly. Now Psycho the Beldum is level 16 and I'm gonna grind like hell until he's evolved. Taking out Cress with just Take Down was no fun, and I really don't want to do that on Lenora. So it's off to Audino grind until my eyes burst into flames of ungodly rage at how slowly the EXP bar goes up.

Ultimate Solo Challenge: Togetic

upon leaving the gym, and hacking in the national pokedex (NOT PROUD, but it had to be done if togepi were to ever evolve -.-), it was time to continue. I left pewter city and received some running shoes, which made it easier to get around, even if I had my finger on the space button anyway.
next up, to pulverise all of the trainers on the way to mt. moon, which didn't prove to be much of an issue. of course, I had to head back to the pokemon center after every battle, what with metronome's awful PP. however, we got there in the end and togepi levelled up a few times to boot. time to enter mt. moon!

while battling the first bug catcher in mt. moon, togepi learnt this gem. still another support move, although can be quiet useful if the opponent were to use a support move.

I found this little gem (or sweet) whilst walking around the cave, too! although I didn't think the time was right to use it at that moment, so after a couple more battles and levels, then I decided to use it.

yay! talk about luck! finally, a move that can deal some direct damage! while it does have poor PP, ancientpower is cool. not to mention that it's really uplifting when it raises all of togepi's stats a stage. :D
at this point, we were almost out of the cave, so I dealt with the rest of the trainers, the team rocket members, and the super nerd with the fossils. after that, I left mt. moon and the route which it connects to. I was now in cerulean city!

I decided to head up to trainer bridge and defeat all the trainers up there before misty, starting with the rival. no problem whatsoever, especially with ancientpower - two of his pokemon were weak to it!
so, after he ran away, once again, it was up to trainer bridge and the route up there. it wasn't so bad, although it was quite annoying as there were many nidorans whose poison point sent me and togepi running back to the pokemon center every time.

once all of those trainers were out of the way, I went to see bill. after testing his teleporter, he handed me an s.s. ticket - not everyday that happens!

I headed back down to cerulean, and remembered that there was one more thing to do. I went to get the rare candy which I could remember which was just hanging out at the back of the house of the man who knows stuff about badges.
I gave togepi the rare candy, healed back up, and then went into the gym. I then beat all of her apprentice trainers, and then battled her.

after beating her staryu, I learnt this, one of my personal favourite moves in the game. <3
then came her starmie... it was tough. although now I had a recovery move, it wasn't so bad. I yawned it, wished it, ancientpowered it a couple of times and knocked it out. and not only did I gain a new badge, and a new TM...

woo! this is it! the pokemon which we're going to be keeping through the entire game!
