Okay, this is proof EVERY US citizen on PC should be a liberal.

    From the article-

    039-jigglypuff.jpg
Jigglypuff: The only pokeman to be "gay" and "out" – Jigglypuff's trademark move is to sing songs which entice characters into a drug-like trance of sexual debauchery. This ultra-liberal pokeman says "It's Okay to be Gay".

    Do you see why?

I'm pretty sure that this is satire.

  • All conservatives don't believe that same thing. :P I'd be surprised if most didn't find her completely ignorant (on this issue at least)
I'm pretty sure that this is satire.
The sad thing is that it's not. She's completely serious.

    Says who? Look at this:

    TOS said:
    4. You understand that by using the Web Site, including its Forums, comment pages and chats, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. If you feel offended by the content or parts of the content you have to leave. Str is strictly satirical, nothing on Str shall be taken seriously.

There you have it. Go ctrl+f for "satirical" in the TOS linked to at the bottom of the page if you don't believe me.

I... this most certainly is giving me a very low opinion of American conservatives at the moment. Somebody please prove me wrong because I like to have a positive outlook on people. Half the time, I was wondering if zhe was just being satirical. I mean, zher writing style fit the satire criteria. But then, as I went through it some more, it became more apparent to me that zhe was dead serious. I flicked through the rest of the site. More conspiracies. In all honesty, I can say if zhe's meant to be joking or something...

EDIT: The commenters on the blog are no better.

If you had read my post, you would have seen that the site itself claims to be satirical. >_> My boyfriend claims that there are people like this out there, but I've never met one so I can't say for sure, and this isn't a real site.

Even if it was, no reason to hate all conservatives for one crazy. I have a Democrat friend who's so liberal that she considers herself Socialist, and would prefer that kind of society, but that shouldn't color your opinions on all liberals either.

  • This is the problem with Religion and Pokemon. They don't really go together, don't get me wrong, I'm religious too.
    Anyways,

Metapod: is one of the rarest and most powerful Pokemons. It is surely no coincidence that it is crescent shaped, like the crescent-moon the Muslims worship. This is burka-clad pokeman is an advert for children to turn away from Jesus Christ, as the player who can evolve the most Pokemons into Islamofascist Metapods is at an advantage
First of all, I'm tired of people bashing Muslims, theres nothing "evil" about it, I'm not Muslim but I do have a friend who is. Second, she needs learn that Metapod isn't the rarest nor the most powerful Pokemon.

Like Team Fail said & the Internet Rules, R:32 You MUST provide Pictures to prove your statement.

Jigglypuff: The only pokeman to be "gay" and "out" – Jigglypuff's trademark move is to sing songs which entice characters into a drug-like trance of sexual debauchery. This ultra-liberal pokeman says "It's Okay to be Gay".
First of all, she doesn't prove pictures from this, & second, how's it drug? She fails...

These are only a tiny subset of the evil characters that are clearly intended to corrupt children. Recently I discovered that many of these monsters had been included in a game, marketed by a Nintendo subsidiary called "Game Freak"
Like what Team Fail said, GF has been providing The Pokemon Company for 15 years.

Pokemon is one of the most popular Japanise animations or "Hentai". It concerns a group of teenage human "Pokemon-Hunters" or "Pokemaniacs" and their adventures in Pokemon-land populated by fictional creatures called Pokemen (pronounced Pokey-Men) .
First, Tell me, hows Pokemon a "hentai" show? There hasn't been any videos of it, or at least none that I know of. Second, Pokemen is not the correct prononunciation nor is it written correctly. Its pronounced Po-Key-Mon (Or at least, this is how I pronounce it), & written Pokemon. She fails at grammar, good thing we have the Grammar Nazi Squad (Party).

That night I set fire to all those Pokemon products. I wouldd sooner cut my own eye out than offer my dear sweet niece such satanic trash. I think this year I shall give her a collection of Jack Chick tracts instead. I just know she will thank me.
You should have, no one really cares about your opinion, & I'm sure your daughter would not thank you.

Like I said, I'm religious but this is completely nonsense
Edit: Not the first time I seen someone, who is religious, bash Pokemon saying that "its demonic". But I am surprised that how many religious people are uneducated.

but everyone here is right, I wish they would stop bashing pokemon, that seems to be the only game they toss aside. Every video game is weird, pokemon is definitely not demonic or satanic. Video games are all creative and imaginative, pokemon just happens to be one of the better ones, people are just looking for reasons to hate on it

  • I don't really know much about America but I'm assuming this is all some political jargon?
Anyway, if this is real then I have lost faith in humanity.
It just seems too funny to be true.

*Wow, really? You really just used that word to describe Pokemon?
** Now I know you be trollin'

How can someone write this (being completely serious) and get so many facts wrong? Hell, getting the name of the show wrong? I don't buy it.
    I say it's fake. I really hope I'm right.

Woah, this part of Pika-Powers' link is actually quite sickening, let's just hope it's a joke...

I went to my son's room where he was playing that idolatrous Nintendo and told him that Jesus had revealed to me that he must smash his game-boy and repent of his sins.
"No mum!", he cried, "It took me a whole year to save up for that", complained my son.
"Please, no!" he begged – but I knew that was just the demons inside of him talking.
I grabbed his arms, and with his hand inside mine we clasped the shaft of the hammer and brought the hammer down heavily onto his Nintendo. It shattered to tiny peices with a deafening crash.
"No!", he cried again, as Christ's hammer pulverized the evil games-console, "No!" he shrieked again as the judgment of God reduced that foreign-made contraption to dust and splinters.
Finally, when it was all over my son lay sobbing in his bed. The game was just a collection of broken parts on the dented table table

  • Regardless of anything a site may "put" in it's "TOS" it doesn't make the content any more right or wrong. A TOS page is just a legal shield.

In my opinion we shouldn't even be gracing insane people with sites like that the pleasure of even being noticed! Join me in letting this silly thread die.

First of all, this is fake.
    Second, this is from 2006.
    And third, it's completely stupid.

    'Nuff said.

The point of that post wasn't to say that the website was right, but that people who were taking it seriously should know that it's satirical, so their complaints are falling on deaf ears. People are spending all this time getting all angry about the specifics of what's being posted, tearing apart that blog post sentence by sentence, while ignoring the fact that it's satire, therefore not even the author herself believes what's being written.

Like I said to someone else who posted in this thread, it frustrates me because if people recognized it as satire, they would be able to reply with that mindset. Instead of tearing apart the post line by line, thinking they're brilliant for noticing the mistakes in it, they could consider how people who actually feel the less extreme version of this affect the Pokemon fanbase. But they just say how stupid the satire author is, don't think about anything else, and negate discussion.

And plus, everyone who replies as if it isn't satire obviously haven't even read the first page of the thread, which is frustrating because there was a whole thread on why there's a lack of discussion on this forum. Maybe it's because people go straight to post without reading even the first page of a rather short thread? I'm sure it happens on many threads, but it's rather obvious on this one that a large amount of people are choosing to just post what they think without reading anything, negating the basic idea of discussion.

Also, why in the world is "put" in quotations? Is that some sort of strange implication that the words got into the TOS in some other way other than being put there?

  • Well it's clearly not for real as everyone has been saying, which makes it hilarious! I love things like this, and anything that pokes fun at conservative values is a welcome laugh for me.

  • How exactly does this tie together the belief that the government's reach and power should be limited to the idea that Pokemon are satanic? Please don't tell me you're basing this on the silly stereotype that the loonies in the religious right makes up the entire conservative population in this country.
