Jesus christ, I can't believe how horrible the 3D in this game is. On top of not being impressive to begin with, the framerate is like 10fps. Utterly stupid.
But, as I said, 2D is fine. Still I was looking forward to using the 3D, and on top of it being disabled in the overworld it makes the game look worse in the fights, so might as well not have 3D at all! Stupid GameFreak.

I've played around 1.5 hours and i won't spoil anything. but i must say the game looks great.

What are you talking about? I don't even notice a drop in framerate when i switch to 3D.

Are you serious? It's so noticeable. I have a friend who got it early complaining about it, and my brother who doesn't care about framerates notices it too.

alright, i turnt my 3ds back on to check and you're right, the framerate drops. i haven't played much in 3d yet so i didn't notice. But still, it is a very beauifull game for pokemon standards.
