If you could create your own moves, what would they be?

    Here are mine:

    Firestorm Wall
    Type: Fire
    Category: Status
    PP: 10

Description: Charizard's new signature move, where user becomes immune to Rock-type attacks (including Stealth Rock) for five turns. Switching does not cancel the move, and any turns using a different Pokémon does not count towards the five turns for the move.

    Color Beam
    Type: Varies
    Category: Special
    Base Power: 120
    Accuracy: 85%
    PP: 5

Description: Type varies on the color category of the user, following this pattern:
    • Red - Fire or Dragon
    • Blue - Water or Ice
    • Green - Grass or Bug
    • Yellow - Electric
    • Brown - Ground or Fighting
    • Pink - Poison
    • Purple - Psychic or Ghost
    • Gray - Rock or Steel
    • White - Normal or Flying
    • Black - Dark
Any color that can be two types would have a 50% chance of being either type.

  • not particularly full of ideas tonight, but here's one:

    Mirror Claw
    Type: Dark
    Category: Physical
    Base Power: ---
    Accuracy: ---
    PP: 15

This move copies the highest Attack and Accuracy values out of all the opponents moves, but keeps its Dark typing. (example, if an opponent has 4 moves, such as draco meteor, razor leaf, Crunch and ember, it will copy draco meteor's attack, and Razor leaf's accuracy)

Here's a move that I thought up of just now.

    Mind Clash

    Psychic
    Power - 120

Effect - User takes one third of the damage that was dealt to the opposing Pokemon, 20% chance of flinching to the opposing Pokemon, 10% chance of paralyzing the opposing Pokemon.

Watch out man, Gallade just got a new toy to play with lol.

  • Make up your own Pokemon move

Hey, guys. :) This is where you can make up your own Pokemon move. [Is this thread taken already? :/]
Aw... No takers? Making up Pokemon moves are fun. D:

    Anyway... Here's an example:
    Move: Electrospin
    Power: 70
    Accuracy: 100
    Type: Electric
Info: Hits opponent's Pokemon in a blurry spin. May confuse the Pokemon after. Hits opponent 1-10 times.

But that'd be ~385 power with 1-10 hits, going even as high as 700....

Also, I assume its physical? Electric could still use one or two alright, but not that broken xD

Unless you meant 70 at max hits, which would make its power 7.

Everybody has good ones but I'm gonna make 4 more.

Sounds like a Ghost move, as it deals with fear and regaining energy.

The night aspect is not exclusive to the Dark type. Darkness, shadows and night are secondary effects of both Dark and Ghost, just like light related attacks can be Fire, Electric... or simply even Normal typed.
They messed up translating the Dark types name and now it feels like its all about darkness. It is actually about sneaky attacks and cheap tricks. It's a kind of strategy more than an element-energy thing.

Of course I'm not saying there cannot be a Dark beam move or similar. Of course there can, but as this one has to do with feeding off fear, it's really much more Ghost than Dark like.

I think this is a great idea for a move, I think it should be a signature move or it could be very over powered.

    Move: Sweet Dreams
    Power: --
    Category: Status
    Accuracy: 100%
    Type: Normal
Description: The defending Pokémon is sent into deep sleep, recovering 10% of health each sleeping turn.

The Idea of the move is that it's risk vs reward, the pokemon is sent into a 3-5 turn sleep, but recovers 10% of it's health every time. The Risk being the pokemon will recover 30-50% of it's health. The Reward being a 100% 3-5 turn sleep to inflict damage/set up.
