1. Are you satisfied with your character(s), currently? Do you have any regrets about making them the way they are?
I regret cutting down the size of their SU's significantly because of my thinking of them being "too long." xD
So far, I'm having a great time with them. They're both a bit different now from when I first envisioned them, but that's to be expected. As of right now? I regret nothing! :P
2. What were your inspirations for their creation? Did you have intentions of giving them a certain role to play in the RP? A bodyguard, a scout, an all out fighter, everything counts as a role.
I wouldn't say there was any specific inspiration. The goal for me was to have two characters that, despite being polar opposites in nearly every way, still fight for a common cause and care for each other. Kind of a Yin-Yang thing. For Cassandra, I intended for her to be the level-headed one, calm (most of the time) and rational. I had her as a supportive role, not in the sense that she's a secondary character, but that she helps strengthen others and brings the group up as a whole as part of her contribution.
For Tavhir, it's the opposite. He's brash, impatient, and hot-headed. The kind of character that thinks with his heart rather than his head, making decisions based on his emotions, and usually those emotions aren't good. He means well, and he's always trying to be better, but he loses his cool easily and flies off the handle a lot ("Are you even real?!" Still my favorite part xD). Combat-wise, Tav is the all-out aggressor, charging in headfirst and slicing bad-guys without a second thought.
Overall, as I mentioned before, the goal I had in mind was two characters that shared the same ideals, but had vastly differing opinions on how to go about obtaining those ideals. Yet, despite their differing opinions on pretty much everything, they still care for one another and help each other out.
3. Do you think your character(s) are the best Gold Tribesmen they can be? And if not, do you wish for them to be better at what they do, or worse?
They are both characters that need improvement in their Gold Tribe ways. I haven't had time to fully explore the ways they can improve, but I will, hopefully. As for now, Cassandra tends to over-think things, and has an aversion to violence despite being in a group that faces a lot of it. Tavhir is the opposite, and still has a mentality of "the ends justify the means." They both have reasons for thinking these ways, and they both have obstacles to surmount, but damned if they aren't going to try their best to overcome those obstacles.
4. What do you have in mind for them in the future? Would they change along with the story, or would they remain pretty much the same - for the sake of funsies?
Of course they are going to change. Whether for better or worse depends on how the story goes, but they are going to change. Tavhir probably more-so than Cassandra, but only because he still has an evolutionary stage to reach, whereas Cassandra is already fully evolved. That isn't to say she is not going to change, but rather that Tavhir might have a more drastic change as he matures.
Also, I think until Tavhir evolved, it'd be funny if he had a sort of Napoleon complex, being so short. xD
5. Do you feel like any of your character(s) share (or could share) any kind of relation with another Playable Character? Tell us more about that!
Well, there's the vault entry we never posted involving Pendro and Tavhir. I should probably get around to posting that eventually, hehe.
As for the here and now in the RP, I think Thrasher and Cassandra would be an interesting thing to explore. Sort of like a mentor/pupil relationship, what with Thrasher being older and wiser. Posts like
Bonding Time are something I really enjoy, for some reason. Pendro and Cassandra could also get along well, considering they both have similar upbringings and interests.
Tavhir and Garland could have some interesting interactions too, I feel. And even though these two haven't interacted hardly at all, I think it'd be fun for Punisher and Tavhir to do something together, considering they both have a kind of "shoot first, ask questions later" mentality.
6. Who is your favorite character in the whole RP? Except Asaito, guys. Asaito is everyone's favorite. xD
Asaito is love. Asaito is life.
I hate having to pick specific characters, as it makes me feel like I'm holding a certain player(s) in higher esteem than another. Honestly, I think everybody active here has really great characters, each one contributing in their own way, and the RP wouldn't be as enjoyable if any of them were gone.
If I were forced to pick though... oh geez... I've got two picks. For funzies, I really like Punisher. His mannerisms are very reminiscent of
one of my favorite cartoons growing up. While I think he deserves to be explored on a more serious note, his displays of vanity and narcissism are a joy to read so far.
Now, overall? I might have to go with Pendro. He provides great comic relief with his social awkwardness, but he also has a serious side that's been explored too, and seeing those two sides clash is really enjoyable. I think Turnip pulls it off excellently, and I'm eager to see more.
7. Who do you think is Wallace and who Jenkins? The Glameow or the Purrloin? :D
Glameow is Jenkins, Purrloin is Wallace. That's my guess! :P
