  • If you can think of why Lance would be so interested in him, Kip, go right ahead. But remember, Lance is looking for the best trainers he can find because he has to do this quickly and quietly, before the other league Champions realize what he's doing, and they have to be strong enough to take on a well-trained team of bloodthirsty Dark types.

    Well, it seems like you have more than six people already, but since I'm such a rebel you said I could, Imma go and sign up for this 'cuz it seems fun ^^;

...Woo, that took longer than I thought it would -_______-

    Name: Cyan Reegn
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male

Appearance: Cyan is quite thin, and a tad shorter than usual, However, this doesn't bother him in the slightest as it makes it easier to move through tight spaces and rough terrain. This is often useful, as Cyan is adventurous by nature. Not being well muscled, this is more than made up for by Cyan's excellent stamina and running speed. However, he is fairly pale due to living in Snowpoint. Cyan's hair spikes out in the front, and is a dark brown in color. The hair contrasts with his much lighter, hazel-green eyes. These are fairly sensitive to sunlight, and quick to water up, which can become embarrasing if it happens while something sad is going on. As far as attire goes, Cyan will usually be wearing his zip-up-neck, black, turtle neck, long sleeved sweater. Under this he just wears a v-neck t-shirt, as even in warm weather he'll rarely take off the sweater. His pants are usually black or brown corderoy, and occasionally he wears cargo pants. The dark color of most of Cyan's clothing clashes with his stark white shoes, which bear no markings whatsoever except for a blue stripe on each side. Cyan also wears a baby blue metal bracelet around his left wrist, though it is covered by the sleeves of his sweater. It is of no significant value to him, he just likes wearing it, even though it is hidden.

Personality: Cyan has a very reserved personality. He makes friends well when he wants to, he can be a good conversationalist, and is almost never anyone's enemy. The only problem is that he often doesn't care to make friends, thinks that what he has to say is dumb, and believes that most people dislike him. Thusly, his positive aspects usually have no time to shine. Since Cyan was the "leader" of his small group of friends when he was younger, he can be bossy and ignorant with his friends. Being slightly egotistical is something that comes naturally to Cyan, yet he is still peeved when others act as such. Despite being adventurous, Cyan is still cautious, and only does something daring when there are people to back him up. Even though he is cautious with things that involve personal injury, Cyan is almost too reckless when it comes to dealing with people in authority. He obeys rules very well, but often voices his dislike for them and pushes the rules to their limits when he is frustrated. Cyan also cares very little about other peoples' bonds. He grew up as an only child, and almost never saw any of his relatives. Because of this, Cyan only cares about friends, and disregards any connections due to kinship. Cyan thinks of his pokemon as partners more than friends, so even though he treats them kindly and spends time with them, he believes that they do not require the attention of a human. One way to make Cyan light up like a candle is to give him a complement, as he is easily won over by these. However, they can also cause him to go into a little bit of a conceited phase. Despite loving positive feedback from others, he never expects it, and would be the first person to critisize his own work. Also, Cyan is slightly prejudiced against people who don't seem very smart, even if it's only on a certain subject. He is annoyed with himself for it, but he just can't seem to stop judging people on their intelligence alone. Always wanting to be nice to people, Cyan will keep these thoughts to himself, and tries to have others in a generally happy mood, as long as he himself is too. If feeling down, expect Cyan to try and take you down with him. Also, Cyan is very artistic and spends his spare time drawing scenery or pokemon.

History: Cyan was born in Pastoria City, and lived there for most of his life. Only until recently has his family moved to Snowpoint. He didn't have many friends, but the few he did have were very loyal, and considered him their leader. Although this made Cyan uncomfortable, he tried his best to make sure everyone in his "group" were okay. Developing a love for discoveries and nature early on in his life, Cyan loved to explore the Great Marsh and surrounding bogs. He would make notes on the pokemon he saw, and try to find out as much as possible about them. The only problem with this is that he was constantly getting lost because of his poor sense of direction. At the age of twelve, Cyan was given by his father a special fishing pole designed to catch rare underwater pokemon, a "super rod", and several net balls. With these, Cyan caught his first pokemon, a barboach by the name of Valorous. However, the two didn't get off to such a great start. Despite having his very own pokemon now, Cyan still preferred to watch wild pokemon, and payed Valorous little attention. In short, he just wasn't that interested in the poor barboach. While out in the marsh one day, Cyan was jumped by a thug and his luxio. Luckily, Valorous was able to break out of his net ball and fight off the thug and his pokemon with two well aimed mud bombs. After this event, Cyan realized that despite studying pokemon in the wild vigorously, he hadn't really been able to judge their true potential, as he had severely misjudged Valorous. Inspired to bring out the inner strength in as many pokemon as he could, Cyan decided that he would set out on a pokemon journey once he felt he was old enough. In the mean time, he worked on training Valorous as much as possible, and caught a surskit in the process, which he nicknamed Blithe.

Despite his protests, Cyan's family eventually moved to Snowpoint because his father was invited to the Battle Zone (as a construction worker, not a trainer) and if they lived in Snowpoint his father would be able to visit them often. Living in Snowpoint wasn't all bad, since there was the lake to explore, as well as new pokemon, but Cyan still missed his friends. Becoming more socially disconnected, he was in the outdoors even more, despite the frigid temperature. Deciding that his home and the indoors was no longer where he belonged, Cyan chose this time, at the age of fourteen, to begin his pokemon journey. Pleased with this news, Cyan's father sent him the egg of a rare pokemon that could usually only be found in the Hoenn region. Knowing that the egg would not hatch very quickly in northern temperatures, Cyan made his way south. He journeyed across all of Sinnoh, taking in the beatuful sights, continuing his studies, catching pokemon, and winning gym battles along the way. It wasn't long before Cyan only needed to defeat Candice to challenge the elite four. Returning home, he spent a few months back home, before telling his parents that he would challenge the elite four, and then travel to Jhoto after his victory. However, after defeating the elite four (on his first try, thanks to several lucky breaks) this plan was cut short by the letter which he recieved from a dragonair, telling him that he was to go to Lilycove. At first, Cyan was going to ignore it, but his parents urged that he go. It seemed Jhoto would have to wait.

    Pokemon:

    Name: Valorous
    Species: Whiscash
    Gender: Male

Personality: On the outside, Valorous seems like a very zen pokemon, not reacting to much and keeping very calm. However, making this assumption would be a big mistake, as if Valorous ever does become annoyed he transforms into a raging monster with little mercy. One thing that can push Valorous over the edge is if the team begins to squabble, in which case he will punish whoever is the cause until everyone can get along again. This method of discipline doesn't seem to work in every case, and can sometimes escalade the problem. Also, Cyan isn't really fond of Valorous' way of dealing with things, as it usually just causes a trip to the pokemon center. Still, Valorous only does this because he cares deeply for the team and its ability to function, and he would do anything for its members. Since his ability is Anticipation, Valorous is also capable of sensing upcoming danger, in which case he will break from his net ball to confront the problem, even if his help wouldn't do much.

History: Valorous was Cyan's first pokemon, caught with a net ball on the marshy outskirts of Pastoria. He saved Cyan's hide when he was younger, and ever since then has viewed Cyan as his "little brother". Despite making Valorous fiercely loyal, it has also caused him to view Cyan as a weakling. As such, he can be overprotective, and underestimate his trainer often.

Distinguishing markings: Valorous has the same anatomy as any regular whiscash, but his eyes are often half closed and sleepy looking.

    Name: Blithe
    Species: Masquerain
    Gender: Female

Personality: Blithe is a very empathetic pokemon, similar to how a ralts, or shuppet, for just negative emotions, would act. She loves it when others are happy, and works off of that happiness. However, this also means that she is easily effected by the sadness or anger of others. Still, Blithe does her best to keep the mood cheery and light, often helping this with a gust of sweet scent or a display of silver wind. Blithe can't stand being alone, so she rarely is inside her net ball. One thing about Blithe that annoys Cyan is that she sometimes acts like a mother to him, but in the strangest ways. She will try to fix his hair with her "oars", even if it is just fine, trys to cleam him up with a bubblebeam, and likes to put "glitter" on him before special occasions with a gust of silver wind. Knowing that it is with good intent, Cyan doesn't get angry with her for this, but still does his best to avoid it. Blithe is also easily fooled and quite guillible, which, paired with her willingness to make others happy, can sometimes get the little bug pokemon into trouble. However, Valorous makes anyone who takes advantage of her enter a world of pain.

History: Blithe was caught by Cyan as a surskit, without any fight at all. Since net balls are especially effective for catching both water and bug types, the surskit was caught quickly and cleanly. Having a love of bug pokemon, Cyan was overjoyed at this capture, even if his dad said that a masquerain wouldn't be as good as something like a poliwrath, which he happened to have one of. Blithe cared deeply for Cyan because of the way she was captured, and does her best to cheer him up whenever he is feeling down.

Distinguishing markings: Blithe has longer "oars" than most masquerains.

    Name: Thor
    Species: Abomasnow
    Gender: Male

Personality: Thor is a very concieted pokemon, who takes pleasure in only two things: battle, and seeing his reflection. Despite constantly trying to prove his dominance to the rest of the team, Thor respects Zephyris' command and never does anything *purposely* to upset her. A natural behemoth, Thor sometimes has trouble coordinating his body, and as such is extremely clumsy. Also, the abomasnow is dreadfully selfish and has no concept of teamwork. Still, Thor has a heart of gold and tries to do what's best for others. Or, at least, what he thinks is best for others, which usually involves benefitting himself. Thor is probably Cyan's best pokemon for battle, as he loves to train and has a inner fire when it comes to competition. Thor loves to give Cyan enormous bear (or in his case, sasquatch) hugs, and thinks of him affectionately as the brains to his brawns. This isn't that far from the truth, but Thor still isn't dumb. However, he can be manipulated, though not to the extent of Blithe. Once he does find out he's being tricked, beware of the monster's fury. Thor can often be found arguing with Mire, though only on occasion do the two start an actual fight.

History: Thor was caught by Cyan in Snowpoint with a regular pokeball, when the snover was half submerged in the ground pretending to be a tree. At the time, Thor was a shy little snover, but after evolving in the battle versus Volkner's luxray he became much more confident in himself. However, with the confidence came his sense of superiority, which he imposes on all except Cyan and Zephyris. Valorous often puts a stop to Thor if he gets too haughty, but for the most part the team has gotten used to his ego. Cyan usually keeps Thor in his pokeball unless its for a battle due to the fact that Thor's presence causes it to immediately snow or hail, depending on Thor's mood.

Distinguishing markings: Thor makes sure to keep his fur extra silky smooth at all times, yet so far no one has complimented him on this. (Thor: -____- )

    Name: Mire "Von Ruus"
    Species: Lombre
    Gender: Male

Personality: Mire, who only responds to Mire Von Ruus, is the self proclaimed leader of the team. However, none of them really respond to this, and they continue to look up to Zephyris as the team leader. Mire enjoys manipulating others, especially Thor, who he seems to have a vendetta against. As such, the two do not get along at all, and are often the catalysts that bring forth this team's most chaotic moments. To his credit, Mire is a useful addition to the team as far as battle is concerned, being both crafty and agile. He is the only member who doesn't always believe in Zephyris' judgement, though Mire still obeys Cyan, albiet only if he calls him by his "real" name: Mire Von Ruus. Mire enjoys causing mischief as well, and is known to pull elaborate pranks. However, after an especially annoyed Valorous attacked him, Mire knows how much is too much. Being the newest member to the team, Mire still has some adjusting to do before he can really fit in.

History: Cyan obtained Mire in a trade, the pokemon he gave away being a haunter he caught in the creepy mansion withing Eterna Forest. Mire's original trainer always called him by the name of Mire Von Ruus, so the lombre only responds in battle to that name. However, Mire mostly only does this to get on Cyan's nerves, and in serious situations will respond to just Mire. Cyan doesn't know much about Mire's previous trainer or his past, but that doesn't really bother him, as Mire is slowly beginning to find a niche in the team. Mire was caught by his previous trainer in a dive ball.

Distinguishing markings: Mire's right shoulder is permanently bruised dark green from one of Valorous' assaults.

    Name: Brella
    Species: Breloom
    Gender: Female

Personality: Brella is a very quiet pokemon, and prefers to be left alone. She is often times in a grumpy mood, and though Blithe tries to cheer her up sometimes, the masquerain is usually shooed away. Despite treating most of the team with what seems like dislike, in reality Brella cares very much for all of them, even Mire. The only thing is, Brella often shows this by critizising the team and being over all sour. Valorous is often seen as the "fight-breaker-upper", but since these attempts can just become another part of the fight, Brella is the only one who really keeps them all in check. She sees this as her duty, and anything standing in the way, except for other team members, gets a mach punch in the face. Fiercely protective and loyal of Cyan, Brella still only sees their relationship as more of a buisness partnership. She never shows any true fondness of him, although Cyan has earned her respect. Despite having distain for all of the team, Brella and Zephyris do have a friendship, just a friendship of few words. Brella is very intelligent, but she doesn't care for tactics in battle. Rather, she enjoys harassing the foe with moves like stun spore and leech seed. It is during these times where the foe is enraged and powerless that Brella seems to be in a genuinly good mood.

History: Brella was caught with a marsh ball in the Great Marsh, when Cyan returned to Pastoria to face Crasher Wake. Her grass typing and energy draining abilities proved quite valuable in the battle, and Brella earned a spot on Cyan's team. Even though she's a breloom now, Brella still prefers to use "annoyer" grass type moves rather than her powerful fighting attacks, unless the situation calls for it. Brella never developed any true bonds with Cyan or his other pokemon, but she does have their respect, even from Thor, as she is one of the better battlers on the team.

Distinguishing markings: Brella has no distinguishing markings, but often has an annoyed look on her face.

    Name: Zephyris
    Species: Flygon
    Gender: Female

Personality: Zephyris has a bubbly personality, and absolutely adores Cyan. Since he was the first thing she saw, Zephyris tends to act like a baby around Cyan, as well as wanting him to carry her and being overly joyous. Of course, she is much too big for Cyan to carry. In fact, Cyan uses her as his main transport pokemon, flying him anywhere he needs to go. Despite being extremely attached to Cyan, Zephyris can sometimes accidently harm him because of her immense strength, and lack of self control. Zephyris is recognized as the leader of the team by all except Mire, as she tries to make sure everyone gets along in a much less violent way than Brella or Valorous. Still, she can also get mad, especially at Mire, and lose her temper. However, Zephyris calms down very quickly, and reverts back to her cheery self, especially if Cyan is around.

History: Zephyris hatched from the egg that Cyan's father gave to him when he set out on his journey. She was his second to last pokemon, but quickly became a beloved and integral member of the team. As a trapinch, Zephyris was prone to affectionately biting Cyan's arm. Eventually she learned that it was hurting him, which made the trapinch extremely sorrowful. However, since then she has done everything in her power to please her "mother", and respects him greatly.

Distinguishing markings: Zephyris has pink "goggles".

Lucky you, I was able to dig something up from a roleplay back in '08 xD

  • I'd already decided to bump the number up to ten and give until Friday evening for more people to put their SUs in. Those who have reserved will have their promised week. And then we can work on getting this thing started.

  • Name: Cstorm Santoff
    Age: 16
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Cstorm has icy-blue eyes that always seem to shine in the light. He has long, crazy brown hair that he always keeps messy. Cstorm stands at 6'2'' and weighs close to around 175 so he comes off a bit menacing. His clothing does not help when it comes to looking a bit mean. He always wears a black hoodie and dark blue skinny-jeans. His shoes are black with purple Duskulls on them. The only piercings he has are snake-bites that again add to his menacing appearance. He also always has a pair of dark blue headphones on.
Personality: Cstorm is very shy and quiet and usually keeps to himself. He chose to travel alone, mainly so he could keep his focus but also because of his shyness. He comes off a bit scary because of his looks so he really was really never shown an opportunity for friendship. Cstorm is however, a very friendly person and when given the chance, can hold very good conversations. He is a big music lover (the reason he always has headphones on) and it keeps him both calm and pumps him for battle. When it comes to battling, Cstorm is very strategic and always knows a good combo of attacks. He always pushes for the best in his Pokemon but shows them the love and care of a best friend. Some people find it surprising how he treats his Pokemon with kindness because of his appearance but they should never judge a book by its cover.
History: Cstorm comes from a tight family from the renowned Blackthorn City in Johto. He is really into the culture and history of Johto and is always out searching for more information as he did throughout his journey.
His father, Sleet Santoff, was not that bad a trainer himself making it through the Indigo League in the top ten and also got to the Johto League championship. His father was always behind him 120% at everything he did especially when it came to Pokemon. He was the one who got him prepared for his journey and taught him everything that he knew. Cstorm is the oldest in his family, followed by his twin sisters, Snow and Winter. Cstorm was always loving to them and they could always put a smile on his face. It was a tough departure when he finally began his journey.
Cstorm left after his eleventh birthday, a year after most trainers did. The main reason was because of his mother, who finally gave in after she left to go live in Snowpoint City with her parents. Cstorm, who usually kept his emotion hidden, showed so much excitement at Elm's lab when he received his Chikorita. From there, he traveled and trained throughtout the historical land of Johto. Many battles and gym challenges later he received the eight badges needed to challenge the Johto League. He strategically faced each member of the Elite Four and showed his training skills throughout. The final battle finally arrived, Cstorm vs. Lance. The battle was a long and saw some the finest battling skills ever in a battle. The end result, Cstorm lost but gained Lance's respect for many reasons. Not only did he see that Cstorm was a strong trainer but that he also showed much love for his Pokemon as if they were his own family.
Cstorm decided to take some time off and relax at his home in Blackthorn City. After a few months he decided to do some sightseeing and left for Kanto. That was when he recieved the letter from Lance.

    Pokemon:

Name: Sunshine (she reminded him of his sisters that always made Cstorm smile)
    Species: Meganium
    Gender: Female
Personality: Sunshine is a happy-go-lucky Pokemon who always shows her affection for Cstorm. Even after evolution, she continued to show that love as it grew into a very tight bond. Her strength in battle comes from he wide variety of attacks.
History: As a Pokemon from Elm's lab, it was already known to be strong. Chikorita fought in most of Cstorm's early battles and was always available when he was in a tight spot. She evolved into Bayleef in between Goldenrod and Ecruteak City. It evolved again during his battle with Chuck when the battle was going the Gym Leaders way. After the evolution, Meganium came through and dominated the rest of the battle and many, many more after.
Distinguishing markings: The leaves around Meganium's neck are a bright blue instead of the normal pink, showing that it may have come from the tropical climate of the Orange Islands.

    Name: Rage
    Species: Electabuzz
    Gender: Male
Personality: Despite the nickname, Cstorm's Electabuzz does not show the anger that most of his species usually shows. This came from Cstorm's calm training style, which Electabuzz copied as a Elekid. He is very similar to Cstorm and tends to keep to himself. In battle however, he shows a powerful, close range fighting style, he is probable Cstorm's fastest Pokemon.
History: Elekid was the first Pokemon Cstorm caught, right outside of Violet City. Cstorm lost his first match against Falkner but with his newly caught Elekid by his side, he won the battle easily. With his unique speed in battle, Cstorm has full trust in Rage. He evolved as Cstorm explored the Whirl Islands in search of Lugia.
Distinguishing markings: It is not a distinct marking but more of a battle opening. After being called into battle, Rage always punches his fist above his head forms a chain of electricity to show he is ready.

    Name: Crobat
    Species: Crobat
    Gender: Male
Personality: Crobat is very skiddish and is always on alert. It is not afraid to attack something, even if it is harmless which has gotten him and Cstorm into a few messes. This has never interferred into their friendship however. Crobat probably has the most respect for his trainer and will fight in any and every battle if it has the chance.
History: Cstorm caught Zubat in the Ilex forest around the forest shrine for Celebi. Zubat, at first, was tough to raise because of his skiddish nature but after a while it got use to traveling. It evolved into Golbat during his battle with Morty's Gengar. Golbat was very entertaining and always could make Cstorm grin when he needed to. The love Cstorm showed him led to his evolution at the Lake of Rage into Crobat.
Distinguishing markings: His fangs are larger than most recorded Crobats, which leads to a stronger bite attack.

    Name: Flash
    Species: Arcanine
    Gender: Male
Personality: Flash has a bit of a loud nature, so he was never good at surprises. He just enjoys barking and roaring. He is usually in a good mood and always has a goofy grin showing. He shows his love by pouncing on Cstorm and covering him in licks. This personality seems to dissipate in battle. He shows no mercy on his foes and is usually victorious in most battles.
History: Cstorm caught Flash as a Growlithe in the Burnt Tower, after he fell though into the basement. After shaking off the fall he found Flash curled in ball, covered in injuries and whining. After Cstorm healed him, the happy and loud personality appeared as did the pouncing. After many battles and training, Cstorm gave the option to evolve and Flash happily accepted.
    Distinguishing markings: None

    Name: Slash
    Species: Scyther
    Gender: Female
Personality: Slash has the least friendliest nature of Cstorm's Pokemon. It is always ready for combat and when not battlling, it is ready to train. Cstorm has showed a lot of stamina with Slash. He shows the same friendly approach and Slash respects that which is why she only listens to his commands. She does however, always tries to prove herself to him.
History: Slash was caught in the Bug-Catching contest outside of Goldenrod City. Cstorm, who was mainly in it to see what Pokemon he could find, was happy with his catch. He came in second to a trainer who caught a Heracross, and this is where Slash gained the thought that she always has to prove herself to Cstorm but he already knows how powerful she is though. She also has a vendetta against Heracross. She turned down the option to evolve to continue showing hos strong she is a Scyther.
Distinguishing markings: If you look closely to her left blade, she keeps notches to show her defeats. There are not many but it keeps her focused in each battle.

RP Sample: I guess this will work, but I do promise to do better in this RP:

From Through Our Eyes: Pokemon Adventure:

Draco slowly hovered over a densely wooded forest; he had to get to Jublife. He had traveled for hours from another city, Veilstone, which had been attacked only days before.

"Those Galactics, they think they are so tough with their Zubats and Glameows," the Dratini said to himself.

He began to remember the events from yesterday where he had to battle his way from those grunts who thought he we would be so valuable to their team.

"Pathetic," he said as he broke his thoughts from the Galactic grunts.

The trees finally disappeared and pavement now covered below him. There were many buildings that seemed to creep over Draco. This reminded him of Veilstone. He then noticed a small group of Pokémon near a Galactic building.

"Why are they near that building, they can be seriously thinking of attacking the whole building themselves," Draco continued to think to himself. "Looks like they may need help and I will be so ready to attack these Galatics again," he said as he smiled to himself.

He descended behind the group and saw a large range of Pokémon, a Charmander to an Espeon. He crept up and said aloud, "if you are going to attack Galactic, please let me join in."

He waited for a response somewhat impatiently as the group began to turn to gaze at him.

If I need more just let me know. I hope this is good though =D

  • You're accepted, Icedragon. Let me warn you, though; Fyora is going to have a field day with him if he thinks he's scary. She grew up with the boogeymen. X]

He's a very intriguing character, though, as all of these are. Sadly, SUs are now closed. The three who already have reservations may finish up, but I won't be taking any more.

  • Name: Erica Ford
    Age: 19
    Gender: Female
    Appearance:
Every day, Erica wears a variation of the same thing; a short black dress which is nearly skin-tight , with ruffles around the bottom. In winter, she might wear it with woolen tights, fur-topped boots, a black pashmina scarf under a bum-length grey knitted jumper. In the summer, it would be worn with footless tights, black ballet pumps, and a short, half-sleeved cardigan.
She carries a tiny across-the-body messenger bag with her, and that is all. A leather belt is slung lazily across her hips, and she has her pokeballs attached to it. They are all black and white, and a little scuffed. She also has an old SLR camera hanging from a strap around her neck.

She is a wiry, lean girl, almost to the point of being 'too skinny'. As a result, face is quite angular, making her look a little mousey, a little mean – until she smiles, when her green eyes light up and her normally pale cheeks flush a little with happiness. Her expressions are charming.
Her hair is a pale brown, dirty blonde medley, and reaches her elbows – but it is normally tidied away in a scruffy side-plait. She has a messy, choppy fringe which just about covers her eyebrows, so her expressions – apart from that enchanting grin, of course – always appears slightly muted.
Erica is not beautiful, by any sense of the word, but her dynamism makes up for it. She strikes quite an unthreatening figure when she enters the ring due to her small stature - Erica is short, as well as slight - feminine dress sense and dainty-looking pokemon choices. However, once she starts talking, battling, or moving in general, it becomes clear that she is not a force to be reckoned with.

    Personality:
Erica is a peculiar soul. At nineteen years of age, this girl has become independent and strong. On a day-to-day basis, nothing gets her down. She fights every battle with fierce self-assurance and meets every person with confidence and cheerfulness; Erica is relatively charismatic, and was born with the coveted ability to get on with everyone. On the surface she is a happy, brave, intelligent individual. Being around people and pokemon makes her very happy, and she adores positive attention – so, battle tournaments are one of her favourite things. She also loves painting, drawing and photography. All in all, Erica comes across as a happy, carefree young lady.
However, deep down, she nurses bitterness and a lot of cynicism. While she may appear friendly and bubbly, she does not really trust anyone, or anything – and wouldn't think twice about running away and abandoning her human friends. She is reluctant to let people get too close to her.

    History:
Erica has no terrible past of abuse or neglect. She lived happily with her mother and older sisters for most of her life – her father walked out on the family when Erica was just ten years old, a few months after he got her an eevee as a birthday present. It was sad, but her mother and older sisters, who were sixteen and twenty at the time, raised Erica well enough. There was a lot of love in her household – until the sisters left home and moved in with their husbands. Erica was very lonely – and when her mother began dating, and Erica was playing second fiddle to a new husband, a new family, a new baby. But, this new man walked out on Erica's mother again, leaving the poor woman alone once more.
Erica couldn't stand it. She too abandoned her mother and half-sister, to become a pokemon trainer.

Two hours later, and Margaret's train was rattling through the countryside, a tiny black streak cradled between endless hills of green. When she got off at the station, she was greeted by silence. Beautiful, reassuring silence. The sign that read 'Twerton' was faded, streaked with dust and veiled in thin tendrils of ivy. This was definitely the right place. She picked up her overnight bag, and headed onto the road.
There an old-fashioned coach was waiting. The driver – a stringy little man, dressed in a dusty, sun-faded coat and tails – waved her over.
"Hullo, might you be Maggie Hathaway?"
"Oh, yes. That's I." The coachman bowed and helped her aboard. His manners were impeccable, despite his brusqueness. She cast a longing glance at the dappled mare tethered to the front. "Is this my sister's?" she asked.
"Oh no," the coachman laughed, "I'm working for myself these days. Not for a while after today, though!" He grinned and clicked the cab door shut. Margaret settled herself by the window as the coach lurched into motion.
They drove for about twenty minutes, along dusty dirt roads. All the old lady could see either side was fields, separated by hedges and walls that echoed the Domesday days. Delicate yellow flowers lined the roadside, while the acres of wheat waved and bowed in the gentle wind. It was all very peaceful, and naïve, and oblivious – and instantly Margaret was in love. She imagined driving down these roads on Christmas Eve, the air sharp with frost, the grandchildren dozing on her lap. What a perfect yule-time it would be.

  • Alright, Charon, accepted. My only piece of advice is watch the length; I love detail.

  • Bringer, that was a simply stunning SU. It filled me with hope for the future of the RPer, and reminded me that some people do indeed lust for detail as heavily as I do. There is no question in my mind that you are accepted.

Hah, now you just watch and see if Rokan isn't totally mesmerized by Kreep.

  • Hey Strikit! I decided to do a first person SU, hope you don't mind (Yes, I recycled my character... I changed the name and edited some stuff though.)

    Name: Jaycee Toronto
    Gender: Female
    Age: 19

Appearance: I am about 6'2 and of a middle weight. When it comes to my face, it is moderately thin and slightly elongated. I have a scar over my left eye that curves down along my jaw to the tip of my chin. My eyes are green in color, but I wear decorative contacts that make them look red. My contacts match my long hair, which is a deep red. I have a red bandanna that I wear around my neck which gives me a rouge appearance. I tend to wear dog tags, as they match the dark shirts that I like to wear. I like to wear ripped jeans and I tend to wear black converses with them.

Personality: When it comes down to my personality, I like to think of myself as a pretty cool person. Yeah sure that may sound vain but that doesn't mean I think it any less. I have tons of friends as well as enemies, because i love interacting with people and some of them just rub me the wrong way. I am not without my faults however, and I have many of them. I tend to overeat when I go to places like buffets, and I tend to feel sick afterwards. I absolutely cannot back down from a challenge, no matter how ridiculous it may be. I love pokemon and my favorites are of the dragon type. I was told once, that a Gyarados' rage would buckle under my love for pokemon. I'm not sure how true that is, but I took the compliment in stride.

History: I was born in a quaint town in the region of Viorre. We belonged to a set of villages that were hidden from all of the main civilizations. My family was of the ninjas but I wanted nothing to do with that. From the age of 4, when a dragon tamer passed through my village I had wanted to be like him. I could not remember his name or face, but I remembered his pokemon. He had a Dratini and a Bagon, and he swore he had a gible egg. I remember that when he released those two pokemon, my eyes glowed bright with passion. I ran up to the two dragons, and I began petting them. Hours later I was punished by my parents and scolded by the village leader Grendle. I remember his exact words. "We are ninjas, we hide in the shadows and strike with poison when our enemies backs are turned. we do not charge in fighting like our dragon rivals. Now, go join your family and be humbled." I hated that man. I ignored his words and set my mind to becoming a dragon Tamer. At the age of 14, I officially became old enough to obtain a starter. I did not want it, but it was forced upon me. I hated that Ekans, and it hated me. We left the day I obtained it and as soon as I reached the Dragon village perimeter, I released it.

I walked into the dragon village that day, wearing the traditional garb of the Ninja. I was questioned, and I told them the truth. I wanted to be one of them. I met with their chieftain and explained my situation. He told me that if I were to be a Dragon Tamer I had to earn their trust. I spent a whole year among them, doing chores for the village and learning their culture. When I reached the age of 15 years, 9 months, I was allowed to become a Dragon Tamer. I received my 'first' pokemon, a small horsea. I gazed in confusion at the chieftan when he presented me with the small seahorse. He gave me a small scale and told me I would know when it was time to use it. I left the dragon village with my small friend, and i headed to the Kanto region.

I had a small bit of difficulty in that region, as my only pokemon was Krein. I eventually caught Kuli, who evolved into a dragonair by the time we reached Blaine. My two water dragons easily destroyed Blaine's pokemon, and we defeated Giovanni just as easily. In the kanto E4, I defeated Bruno. Agatha defeated me, and I left the kanto region, determined to come back and defeat them.

I moved to the Sinnoh region, And I kept fighting through other trainers. When I made it to Veilstone, an extremely kind breeder gave me an experimental pokemon for helping him out. I named the porygon Zeta, and it felt good to have a pokemon that wasn't a dragon type. Zeta was one of the most useful allies I had in the Sinnoh region.

I eventually defeated all eight gym leaders(I had trouble on volkner) And headed to the E4. I fought through the victory road and I spent a night outside of the E4 resting. Through the next day, I battled the four trainers. Aaron was easy, his yanmega being the only real challenge. Bertha was much easier, I had a great type advantage. It was the same for flint, I only used two of my four pokemon. Lucian was a pain. His pokemon were so much faster than mine. I kept switching out to prevent too much damage, but in the end Cora was knocked out by his gallade. I defeated it using Krein and Kuli, with two Dragon rages at full power. Cynthia was of another class. All of my worn down pokemon were destroyed, without me taking out even one. I was told I had potential, and once again I vowed to come back.

I went to the Hoenn region, hoping that I would finally be able to defeat an E4. I caught the final two members of my team here which added more variety to my team, before I defeated Tate and Liza. I finally defeated Juan, after much difficulty. I was actually on my way to the E4 when I obtained the letter from Lance, via Delibird. I Decided that I would help, and I figured it was my determination that caught Lance's attention.

    Name: Krein
    Species: Kingdra
    Gender: male
Obtained: This was the small seadra that Raydin obtained from the Draagon Tamer village
Personality: Krein is slightly vain, and he considers himself to be royalty. This wasn't always the way he acted, as he was very timid as a horsea and he was very quick to anger as a seadra.
Physical Description: Krein's belly is the same color as the rest of his body, as opposed to the classic tan. Its tail ends in a very sharp spike unlike a normal tail, which has a bulbous end.

    Name: Kuli
    Species: Dragonite
    Gender: Female
Obtained: Kuli was obtained when Jaycee was in the Kanto region. She rented a scuba kit at the safari zone and had Krein pull her down to the seafloor. Kuli saw a reflective mirror on Jaycee's belt and she found herself obsessed with it. Jaycee told Krein to attack her with dragon rage. Kuli was caught off guard, and it allowed Jaycee to easily capture her.
Personality: Kuli is obsessed with her beauty, and she is easily distracted by her own reflection and sparkly things. She only respects a few people, such as her teammates and her Trainer.
Physical appearance: Kuli is less developed than most dragonites, and due to a birth defect, and she has a Dragonair's tail. On her head there are two wings from a dratini and a dragonair. Due to a genetic defect, her belly color and her back's color have been reversed.

    Name: Radi
    Species: Flygon
    Gender: Female
Obtained: Radi was obtained when she was just an Egg. Jaycee found it abandoned on the side of the road and he took care of it until it hatched. She hatched as a trapinch and she grew quickly, evolving within a month.
Personality: Radi is rather Timid pokemon, and she does not like to battle. She hides behind Jaycee when she's scared. She is very friendly with Kuli and Krein, even though it took her a while to realize they were not her foes.
Physical appearance: Radi looks like a normal Flygon other than her slightly torn left wing.

    Zeta
    Species: Porygon-z
    Gender:Female
Obtained: Zeta was given to Jaycee inside of the Sinnoh region when she helped out a breeder in veilstone city.
Personality: Zeta is a rather happy pokemon, and she often shows her affection for jaycee by tackling her the second she comes out of her pokeball. When she fights, she gets very serious and she can be a very deadly enemy. She is slightly perverted though, as shown by how she acts when she's around males.
Physical description: Zeta's limbs are angled, much like a standard porygon.

    Name: Cora
    Species: Ditto
Obtained: Jaycee caught Cora when she was in the sinnoh pokemon Mansion. Jaycee noticed a pichu with eyes different from the others. She captured it, and was shocked to learn that it was a ditto after she caught it.
Personality: Cora doesn't seem to have much of a personality unless she's in a transformed state. When she's in a pichu form for example, she tends to be perky and happy.
Physical description: Even though she can't use their attacks, Cora can freely turn in to any form she's been in before.

    Name: Splice
    Species: Scizor
    Gender: Male
Obtained: Jaycee caught Splice near celestic town in Sinnoh.
Personality: Splice is a very quiet scizor, very different from his very aggressive bretheren. He keeps to himself a lot, and he can tread silently. When he does fight, his violence and aggression do show through, as you can tell from the ammount of wins he's had.

  • ((Yes, this officially counts as starting. I threw in a little tidbit from Esthin's point of view to get you started. Check the OOC thread periodically for ideas on where we're going. All OOC as of now, besides little stuff, goes there.))

From his position concealed in the thick, smoky darkness he saw a rectangle of light appear, then vanish as soon as it had come. A challenger had arrived. A smirk curved his lips as he watched the girl first be confronted by one of his members, then a second. When she defeated that one as well a dark shape stirred by his feet. A cold aura emanated from it, heightening the frightening appearance that came from its twisted silhouette.

"Calm," the man commanded. It fell silent instantly, its blood red eyes trained on the young woman.

It did not take her long to get through to them, suggesting she had at least one team member that could withstand Dark offenses. That was alright. It would not make any difference in the outcome. As she neared his pedestal her footsteps slowed and her confidence melted visibly, leaving a shivering child in her place.

"State your business," he said coldly. She shuddered at the sound of his voice. It was like a serpent slithering over ice.

"I-I… I'm here for the b-badge," she stammered.

"Then let us begin. There are no rules in this gym. Either you succeed, or you do not. It is up to you."

When he emerged from the darkness he heard her stifle a gasp. His frigid blue eyes, focused intensely on her, glowed eerily. Black hair fell like a pagan wreath around his head. His unnaturally pale features twisted into a sadistic grin, giving the impression that he was on the ledge of insanity. The rest of his body was obscured by a floor length cloak, blacker than the darkest moonless night. His boots thudded dully as he led her to the center of the gym floor. Unbidden, the trainers moved out of the way and watched silently from the shadows, their eyes glowing like hungry dogs.

The twisted shape had followed him down. It positioned itself in front of him and waited. The girl realized after several moments of silence that she would not be told what to do here. Her hands shook uncontrollably as she retrieved a ball from her belt and threw it. A Forretress landed where it fell, towering over the far smaller dark shape. However, despite the species' generally blank expression, its anxiety was evident in the way its eyes darted back and forth. He chuckled cruelly.

    "Go."

The little shadow lunged forward with a bloodcurdling screech, sealing the fate of its opponent.

Throughout all the places Lance had been before Hoenn was his least favorite. He was not a great fan of the rain, especially not when it fell endlessly, as it did in many areas on the continent. Luckily, Lilycove was one of the drier places, though there was still evidence of dampness in the air. On the positive side, the briny air mixed with the scent of the rain and created a unique, pleasant aroma. If it could be bottled and sold money would just fall into the pocket of the man lucky enough to market it. Then again, he was sure it could be found somewhere. People had come up with all sorts of tourist items.

As his bright red hair and cape would attract unwanted attention if unchecked, Lance donned an outfit outside the norm for this occasion. A common baseball cap along with a long coat and drab jeans helped him to blend in with the crowd far better than usual. Of course, his elegant and proud air caught several eyes, but at least they didn't recognize him. If the League were to find out what he was doing he would be in more trouble than he could ever imagine, perhaps enough for him to be stripped of his trainers' license. Vigilante work was strictly against the League code where Champions were concerned and likely as not the others had enough sense to hire people to keep eyes out. A mere whisper of his name could be detrimental, which was where these young men and women came in.

The Cove Lily Hotel was far more impressive than it had been the first time he saw it, Lance mused. It loomed several stories higher, the brick bright and polished. A large lighted sign now perched above the door, proclaiming that the building was the 'Cove Lily of Lilycove.' At the very least, one could be sure they were not in the wrong place. Waiting at the glass double doors were two men in posh salmon pink uniforms with coral blue trim. They opened the doors and welcomed him into the magnificent lobby. A high ceiling and plush carpet gave away the fact that somehow, the hotel had struck new wealth. However that may have happened Lance was impressed. Crystal chandeliers lit the room and there was expensive looking furniture everywhere so that guests could socialize or wait for rooms in comfort. The front desk, made out of lovely cherrywood, was the central focus. He began to stride proudly across the lobby to it, then rethought his actions. He was supposed to be inconspicuous. Reminder duly noted, he muted his steps and sauntered over.

"Good day, sir. Would you be so kind as to point me to Conference Room D?"

The man behind the counter eyed him suspiciously underneath pencil-thin eyebrows that looked as though they must be drawn on. A mustache of the same type sat on his upper lip, giving him an absolutely ridiculous appearance. For a moment Lance wanted to enforce his authority and demand he not be considered as common vermin, as this man clearly was. But then he remembered he was supposed to be a dirty young trainer with no special talents. It was not easy to be plain.

"Fourth floor. Go down the hallway until you come to a row of doors marked with letters. Yours shall say 'D'," he answered finally. Lance thanked him and made his way to the nearest elevator. They were as fine as the rest of the hotel, made of glass with gold trim. They were faster than most, and the lift took less time than he had expected.

As soon as he stepped out of the elevator he saw that the only way he could possibly go was to the left, as the right was a dead end. He passed many cherrywood doors with gold numbers on them before he finally came to one marked 'A.' Three down from it was the one he seeked. He gripped the Gorebyss shaped handle and discovered that it had been left unlocked in anticipation for "Wesley Robert's" gathering.

Lance entered the empty room and immediately shed the long coat. Had he taken a second look he would note an oak table against the right wall, complete with coffee maker, tea, and elegant little plastic cups and napkins, as well as luxurious chairs placed in a circle around the room. He was too busy, however, removing the ludicrous hat as well. He could not change clothes, as he had to leave this place eventually, and he would not do well to be seen upon his departure. But he could at least make himself somewhat more presentable.

With all that done he took the chair at the very center of the circle and waited for the arrival of the trainers. They would need to make haste; time was running short.

  • The shopping centre was impossibly crowded. People milled to and fro, talking and shouting, calling to each other. It was a flurry of noise and movement; women pushed past each other, snatched items off shelves, and gave shrieks of frustration when they couldn't find what they were after. Amongst this franticness, a girl was browsing. While the rest of the customers rushed past her, she was calmly considering a t-shirt – black, of course, like the rest of her attire – by holding it up to the light. It was examined attentively; every seam checked, every stitch seen to. She nibbled her lower lip in thought.

    {Erica!} an espeon had squeezed herself through the crowds, and was glaring at her trainer disdainfully. From her viewpoint, Lilycove department store was a mass of stamping feet and sweeping bags, and any minute now one would have her eye out. She lifted a nervous paw and glanced about, before darting towards the girl's shoes. {E! Come on!}

"We've got a while longer..." the girl mumbled, still mesmerised.

    "No, we don't! We need to find this hotel, and-" the psychic type bit her lip. She was being ignored here! She jumped up and grabbed the t-shirt between her jaws, deftly pulling it out of Erica's hands. Erica gave a start, and glared down at her companion – who had spat the t-shirt on to the floor, and was clawing at it with disdain. {-and you never buy anything anyway! Now come ON!}

The girl gave a sigh. "Jas, you're so dull. You know I like to look." She crouched down and let the lithe little pokemon flow into her arms. Here, Jasmine looked a lot more content. She liked being carried; it was a lot more becoming. She purred, and rubbed her head against her trainer's chin. Erica smiled softly. She was used to this behaviour. "Right, let's get a move on..."

After fifteen minutes of wandering – that mostly involved Jasmine getting very cross and demanding Erica ask for directions, and Erica refusing – the pair arrived outside the Lilly Cove hotel. There was no mistaking it; it was a fabulous building, and Erica felt awe-struck as she entered. Overhead, a chandelier glittered, and smart, uniformed staff strode purposefully to-and-fro. This was a classy establishment, a far cry from the hostels, tents and pokemon centres Erica was used to. She and Jasmine exchanged glances. This was certainly... interesting. After a quick rummage in her satchel, Erica pulled out Lance's note. Jasmine, who had clambered onto Erica's head, leaned in and stared at it intently.
{It doesn't say where to go,} she muttered darkly.

    "You can't read."

    {Shush,} the espeon scolded, {that's neither here nor there. How are we going to find Lance? I ...assume he's in disguise. You can't exactly have the leader of the elite four waltzing about just like that.}

"I think that might be him," Erica whispered, pointing to a young man that was sauntering proudly across the foyer. Not many trainers walked like that. The vast majority swaggered, or were stumbling from exhaustion. They waited for a moment, before tracing the stranger's footsteps without a sound.
She paused outside the room he entered, staring with trepidation at the Gorebyss handle. A peculiar feeling surged through her – excitement, mixed with fear, mixed with gladness. This was the beginning of another great adventure, Erica could sense it. She pushed open the door and strode in.

Lance sat in the centre of a great circle of chairs. Despite herself, she bobbed a curtsy.
"Sir," she began, "I received your letter. I'm Erica, and this is my Espeon Jasmine. We're... at your service."

  • Lance's attention turned to the oak door as it opened and the first of his summoned trainers entered. Though he could not immediately put a name to her face, he knew she must be one of the ones he had chosen. It was not unheard of for young trainers to tail him like puppies and beg for apprenticeships, but she had an entirely different air about her which suggested that she had a true purpose for being there.

When she introduced herself her last name came rushing back to him, as he had spent months observing her and the others, and by now knew their surname and team.

"Ah, Erica Ford," he said with a nod of recognition. "Thank you for your presence. You may be seated while we wait for the remainder of our meeting to arrive." He gestured broadly around the room, suggesting that she could be seated anywhere she liked or perhaps indulge in the coffee machine.

    *****

A disgruntled Fyora stepped off of the small ship that had ferried her from Johto. The trip could not have gone less smoothly; not only had they run into a storm as they passed Mossdeep, but Razor had found reason to quarrel with a Glameow belonging to one of the other passengers. As a result he'd had to remain in his ball until they reached their destination. Although she knew it shouldn't be that difficult for a trainer to recall her Pokemon, Fyora disliked keeping him confined. Therefore as soon as she stepped onto land she detached his ball from its holder on the inside of her jacket and released him. He chattered angrily as soon as he realized he was free and hopped onto her shoulder.

"Yeah, I know Razor," she sighed. "But it was your fault, you know. You could have behaved."

He continued to make noises remniscent of a pencil sharpener, conveying his distaste for what she had done, as she entered the city. Being unfamiliar with Lilycove, she proceeded with caution. The last thing she wanted was to get lost, and to be late for a summons with Lance. As a result of her family's direct coorelation with Dragon types, Lance was one of her heroes, and she certainly did not want to disappoint him.

Luckily the hotel towered above all of the other buildings, save perhaps for the shopping center. It was rather beautiful, Fyora mused. It seemed like a fitting place for Lance to meet with people. Two uniformed men opened the doors for her, which made her raise an eyebrow. They didn't even question whether she belonged there. As scruffy as she was, in her oversized coat and wind blown hair, she was sure she looked out of place. But if they thought she was good enough, she must be.

The expansive lobby was enough to take anyone's breath away, Fyora discovered. It looked as though a great deal of money had gone into it, and it took at least half of that sum to even consider staying in this hotel. Luckily she did not intend to stay overnight. After hearing what Lance had to say she wanted to go on to Mossdeep immediately, in order to check on her brother. Esthin had always been prone to getting in over his head. When she thought about it, she didn't know if Lance's task would allow her time. But surely she would be able to eventually.

A quick scrutiny of the area told her there was a man who looked far too elegant for his clothes striding purposefully to the elevator. She'd only ever seen Lance from a distance while he trained with Clair, but this man certainly had the same aura. Therefore she followed him, taking the next elevator up to the fourth floor. A girl about her own age paused outside one of the Conference Rooms, long enough for Fyora to notice she had an Espeon with her. Did that mean she was a trainer? If that was the case there was a high likelihood that this was where she ought to be going, as well. She followed the other trainer's actions and entered the room to discover that she had been correct. Lance was not wearing his usal dress, but there was no mistaking the pride.

Razor even fell silent and still in the face of a man whom he had been told great things about. Fyora stammered a shy greeting and gravitated immediately towards the table with the coffee on it, if only for something to do.

''What a drag,'' Andreas sighted. ''Those storms were terrible''

A boy stepped out of the ship that just arrived from Johto.
His bright coloured hoodie striked out of the other people who stepped off the long stretcher that linked to the harbor.

The sun shined brightly but the air was hummid so it was he had trouble with breathing for a moment, but when he finally got used to it he made his way into Lilycove City.

''I dont even know where I´m going...''

Andreas reached for the letter in his pocket, it was all muffled up and filthy but he could still read it.
''Cove lily Hotel,'' He read outloud. ''Where the heck is that, What a drag.''

He walked for like half an hour before he ended up in front of a big white polished building with the sign.

    COVE LILY MOTEL
"Remember Us As Cove Lily of Lilycove."

"Finally," he thought, "Hope the've got aircondisioning"

When the two piccolo's opend the doors infront of him he smiled, such a nice building with gold and pearl white.
    It was astounding and busy.
Guest checking in, piccolo's running around with luggage.

He stood in line for the main desk, when it was his turn a creepy thin man with a thin mustace and even thinner hair looked at him.
''Yes, good afternoon, could I help you young person.''
Andreas looked at him for a second, then thinking, ''What a drag, dont even know where I must go.''

''I hope you could sir, I have a meeting with other trainers I think, but I dont know where to go now, It was not stated in the letter.'' He grinned sarcasticly, still looking at the creepy guys hair.

''Aw, I will look it up for you, One second please.'' He started to tick in his computer and then looked at Andreas.
''Sir Robert's meeting I suppose?'' he looked at Andreas.

''I think,'' Andy scratched his patch.

''Well, you can take the elevator to the fourth flour and walk all the way to Converence room D then.''

''Well I thank you dear man, and good luck to you.'' Andreas said.

''With what may I ask?'' the guy said.
''With growing hair,'' Andreas walked away to the elevator makeing a hand sign like a militaire style salute.

''Well the nerves!'' the Counter guy said while stroking through his hair.

Andy walked through the long hall way till he got to the big golden D on the wooden door.
Looking at the Gorebyss handel, he touched it to feel it cold fake gold.
''Such a drag.'' He sighted and opend the door...

  • Avalon felt he was late because of Cherrim's and Chimecho's silly pranks had caused him to much trouble that had him cleaning up after them which took longer then expected so now he was flying through the air at top speed, his Salamence was going as fast as the dragon could but it didn't help that they weren't even in Hoenn to start with but he felt it wouldn't be long till they were in Lily Cove city. As Avalon tried to pin point the hotel through the blistering winds once they were over Lily Cove he spotted the location where the hotel used to be, and at first he wasn't sure if it was there anymore because it had changed quite a bit since he last saw it but sure enough the sign on the door told him that he was in the right place.

So Avalon got Hydromence to land out front and had him return to his pokeball and he ran into the building and was surprised as to how much the place had changed on the inside because it was never this fancy before, while looking around the guy at the desk asked if he needed any help "Yeah mate, do you know where that trainer meeting is" asked Avalon and the man seemed to roll his eyes and then told him the direction to the level 4 conference room. And with a thank you Avalon run through the halls to the elevator and pressed the button for the fourth floor where he got out and ran around looking for the intended place, after a bit of searching he found the right door and stopped to catch his breath and to make sure he didn't look as disheveled as he felt.

Then he took a big breath and opened the door to see that several people had already arrived but he hoped he wasn't too late to find out what this was really all about even though there was clue to it in the letter, he'd still like to hear it from the man himself so he walked further in "Sorry I'm late, had to deal with the aftermath of some naughty pokemon, did I miss anything" expressed Avalon to whoever bothered to listen.

  • Lance watched the entry of three others, a young woman, and two young men. They appeared to be as promising as any of the others, though he sniffed in disapproval at the way the girl allowed her Sneasel to climb all over her. How could she ever expect to earn its respect? He would not be able to believe it had merit to its battling style until he saw so for himself.

"Good day to you," he greeted broadly. "Help yourself to a seat, or to any of the refreshments. We are waiting for others to make an appearance before we begin. I must ask that any and all Pokemon allowed to stay out of their ball be tame and responsive to your commands. Elsewise they will need to be recalled."

Were it anyone but Lance who had made the comment about good behavior, Razor would have rebelled instantly. As it was he grumbled to himself but clung to Fyora's back all the same, mindful of the esteemed dragon master's request. After all, he did not want to be scolded by the man his mistress looked up to. He made a mental note to tell the rest of the team about it as well the next time they were all out, to make sure they behaved. That little Eevee would be the biggest problem. Razor simply couldn't stand Asterisk. He was so perfidious. He couldn't trust a thing he said.

Fyora poured herself a cup of coffee and added all sorts of sugar and creamer until it was slightly darker than milk. Steam coiled lazily above the mug in an almost artistic pattern. The familiar smell calmed her slightly and allowed her to think more reasonably about the fact that she was in Lance's presence. She just needed to put up a good first example. As such she took her mug and seated herself at the right of the circle, close enough to the table that she could refill her coffee if the need arose.
