Christopher's heart skipped a beat when he saw the professor turn to look straight at them. But he for some reason didn't believe he was seeing them. Maybe the sight of an unusual Unova pokémon like Miharu's form in the middle of his lab was a little too much for him to think it was real. Christopher put on a vacant smile and trodded after Miharu through the corridor.
They found the door out, and Christopher happily exited the building, jumping up to turn the doorknob. He hoped Kris and Miharu or the others wouldn't bash him too much for this little episode. He had thought it was a good idea.
Looking up into the sky, just outside the building, he noticed that the balloon was... gone. Again. Typical. Had it just wanted to lead them to New Bark? Anyways, his stomach growled louder than ever and the sun was lower on the sky now. It was probably late in the afternoon by now.
"Let's..." he hesitated, not wanting to come up with another rather failing idea. "Anybody got an idea on how we can get food? What do pokémon eat, anyways?" he said, instead.
