"Why you hitting yourself?", references Wobbuffet's only method of attacking, turning its opponents attacks against themselves, and Yveltal is the winged death dealer because it literally sucks the life out of other beings.

I knew about Wobbuffet but I took the wrong point of view (I thought "Why you hitting yourself" was directed at the Pokémon (hence confusion and Spinda), rather than a description of the opponent of the Pokémon, if that makes sense)
Didn't know about Yveltal though ^^
