Do you care what other people think of you?

I believe to completely, not care about how others think of you is a little unhealthy. I say this because it is human nature to be curious about someone else's feelings, items, etc.

I don't give a damn of what other people think of me.
To me almost everyone is stupid anyway so why should I care about their opinion?
We once had this in class that people can't live their lives properly because they always have to think about what other people could think of them. That means everyone has influence over you and what you do as long as you care about other people's thinking.

Yes, I do. Why? I want people to like me. I find it incredibly obnoxious when people have this attitude where they're just like "Well, I like me, so screw everyone else." So, I try to make them like me. I tell them what they want to hear. I don't see anything wrong with it. :\

To some extent, yes. But I will never go out of my way to impress/satisfy someone, especially if its something I wouldn't do otherwise.

Sometimes I do and I don't, it really just depends on what mindset I'm in... but normally I care. Makeup. :3 Though being quiet IRL... doesn't exactly help. Oh and it depends on the person, too.

It depends on who it is, and what the person is complaining about. There are certain things I just don't give two figs about what people think about it. And there are certain things that I care very much about what people think.

Like for example; I couldn't care less if someone thinks I'm weird because of my declared sexual preference, but if a friend's significant other suddenly became very protective over my friend because they thought I liked that person...I wouldn't tolerate that at all, I'd do everything I could to convince them I wasn't trying to do that, but I also would not let them try to stop me from seeing my friend.

Okay, people get really confused with the term "caring what people think" these days. You have to care what people think. If you didn't people would be running around the street butt-naked posting porn flyers everywhere and giving their phone number to random strangers to come watch them have sex with their daughter. There are so many things wrong with that, and the exact reason why it doesn't happen is because there are norms in society, laws you have to follow.

Now, when it comes to things like "omg if I wear this shirt will people make fun of me?! ;_____;" that's dumb. I don't really care what people think of me and I do what I like to do, but I obviously follow norms and society's rules.

I'd be lieing if I said I didn't. I try not to care, but then I constantly find myself asking the question "what do others think of me?" It's a bit annoying at times :<.

Hm...sometimes. Not really though, it's not like I obsess myself with it. Sometimes when I know I feel/look like crap, I don't care. xD Since my friends wouldn't mind.
